BJ POV

I watch as Alia walk out of the bathroom with a towel around her.

"Good morning." She looks over at me smiling.

"Good morning." I sit up and lean back against the headboard, rubbing my eyes. Her heat has completely passed, I can't smell a trace of it.

"I'm going to go for a run, I haven't let my wolf out in a few days now." She walks into the closet and comes out wearing one of my shits that come down just above her knees.

"I'm coming with you." I'm not letting her go anywhere alone after what happened with the alpha king's son. I get out of bed and slide on a pair of shorts.

We leave the castle, heading into the forest.

She takes off the shirt and shifts into her tan wolf. I watch as she walks over to me, rubbing her body up against me, covering me in her scent. I smile as reach out running my fingers through her soft fur.

I stand here running my fingers through her fur, admiring her wolf, before pulling my shorts off and shift into my beast, standing tall on my hind legs. I look down at Alia, towering over her.

"BJ you seem a bit bigger." She says through the mind link, looking up at me.

"My father helped me with controlling my beast. And once I was one with my beast I went through a second shift." I drop down on all fours.

"So now your beast listens to you?"  She asks.

"Yeah," I tell her.

"My wolf wants to come forth to meet your beast." I have met Alia wolf many times before, but neither she or her wolf have met my beast because it's was hard for me to get control back once it had full control.

I give my beast full control, letting it come forth, moving to the back of my mind.

I watch as my beast circle her, sniffing her, taking in her scent while she just stands there. The beast let dominance pour off us, wanting her wolf to submit to us. Her wolf rolls over on it's back, exposing it's belly, submitting to us.

The beast licks her a few times, before letting her get up. It lay down on the ground, making itself smaller as Alia wolf starts to sniff us, taking in our scent.

My beast stands up and sniffs the air picking up on the scent of a rabbit. It takes off through the forest on all fours with Alia wolf right behind us, tracking the rabbit down. The beast catches the rabbit killing it instantly, picking the rabbit up in our mouth and walk over placing it on the ground in front of Alia, providing for our mate.

She accepts what we have provided for her as she starts to eat the rabbit. She eats half, then uses her nose to push the other half towards us, sharing her meal. After my beast quickly eats the rabbit, I take control back without having to fight for it.

Alia jumps around playfully bite at me. I let out a playful growl and softly swipe at her.

I watch as she takes off through the forest signaling for me to chase. I take off through the forest, going after her.

As we play and run around the forest, I stop when I pick up on the scent of wolves heading towards my father's land.

"What's wrong?" Alia asks, continuing to playfully bite at me.

"I can smell wolves heading in this direction. I need to get you back to the castle." I don't know who these wolves are, but if they wish to die today they have come to the right place.

"I don't smell anything," Alia says, running next to me.

"The scent seems to be a couple of miles away, but it's getting closer by the minute." I don't smell the alpha king son scent among these wolves, but I'm not taking any chances of her getting hurt again.

Once we get back to the castle Alia goes inside as I wait out front. I look back when I hear the castle door open behind me, watching Lisa come out.

"Alia told me that someone was headed here." She looks at me with a frown.

"Yeah" Her nose flares a little, sniffing the air, picking up on the scent of wolves.

Not too long after, I frown watching as three cars pull up in front of the castle.

A male with sandy brown hair gets out of one of the cars. "Are you the prince and the princess?"

"Who wants to know?" I ask, not taking my eyes off the male.

"I was told that this was a safe place for us to come." He bows his head to me.

"Where did you hear this?" I ask him.

"My brother. He disappeared a few months ago. I thought he was dead, but he called me yesterday and told me that he was here. He said that you saved him from those bloodsuckers." He looks back at the cars signaling for the others to get out. The others get out with children and walk over to him.

"We were attacked by vampires in our home a few days ago, but we managed to get away." Another male says.

"You guys are welcome to stay here as long as you need," Lisa tells them. I guess they're only trying to find a place where their families will be safe.

"I hope you guys don't mind that we told a few of our friends about this place. They should be here soon." The male with the sandy brown hair says.

"It's fine," I tell them before turning around leading them inside.

"Just find a room, the dining hall is that way if anyone wants something to eat," Lisa tell them.

"Thanks." One of the males says bowing his head to us. I give him a nod, before walking off to let Alia know everything's okay.

"Freddy take the ones who want to join the pack to the training room," I tell him through the mind link as I walk into our room where Alia is.

"Who was it?" She asks looking over at me.

"Just some wolves coming here to keep their families safe." I walk into the closet, grabbing a pair of black jeans and a white T-shirt, getting dressed.

"I'm about to head to the training room to link the wolves who wanted to join the pack. I want you to be there so they can see their new Luna." I tell her as I get dressed.

A smile spread across her face as she gets off the bed, walking over to me and wraps her arms around my waist.

"My big bad Lycan prince." She says looking up at me smiling.

I let out a low chuckle as I lean down placing a kiss on her lips, before leaving the room with her.

I walk into the training room with Alia and frown when I see more than just ten people into here.

I walk over to Freddy and Frank. "I thought you said ten." I look around to see almost every damn wolf we saved from that vampire coven in here.

"It was only a couple at first, but the others overheard me telling them that you were ready to link them to the pack and said they would also like to join," Freddy says shrugging a little.

I frown, looking around at everyone. "I can't manage a pack this big." I'm not ready for this.

Alia grabs my hand inner locking our fingers. "You can do it, we'll figure it out together."

I look over at Alia, seeing the smile on her face. I look at her for a second, before letting out a sigh.

"Well, we'll be needing a new place for sure now." I look over at all the people standing around, then back over at Frank and Freddy.

"I told you we need us a castle like uncle Blake," Frank says.

"Castles are the best." Adam looks over at Frank smiling.

"I totally agree little cousin." Frank reaches out and gives Adam a fist bump.

Frank calls all the wolves over and I start to link them all to the pack. One by one I watch as their wolf comes forth recognizing me as their new alpha and Alia as their Luna. Once I link the last person, that brings the pack up to one hundred and eighty-six members.

We all head out back where the kids are running around playing in the pool, while everyone stands around talking. Alia and I walking around, getting to know everyone. She said it's important to get to know everyone in the pack personally, even the kids.

It's a lot of wolves, so it'll take me a little time to remember everyone's name. Once we finish talking to everyone, I head over to the pool where Adam and the other kid are.

"Throwing me in BJ!" Adam climbs out of the pool and holds his arms out to the side. I look around making sure mother isn't out here. She would freak out if she saw me throwing Adam into the air. She's very protective of him the same way she was with Lisa and me when we were his age, but once he gets his wolf and is able to heal she'll relax a bit.

I put my hands under his arms lifting him up and toss him through the air.

"Cannonball!!" He yells out splashing into the pool.

I let out a chuckle as I watch him come back to the surface laughing.

"That was cool Adam, can you get your brother to do me!?" One of the little boys says smiling at Adam.

"Me too!" I hear followed by many other 'Me too'.

"Come on," Adam tells them, swimming back over to me climbing out the pool.

"BJ my friends want you to throw them into the pool the same way you did me," Adam tells me smiling, as all the kids climb out the pool standing behind him.

"Who's first?" I ask, giving them all a friendly smile.

"Me!!" They all start to say at once.

I start to throw them into the pool one by one.

They all continue to get back out of the pool to be thrown in again. A few members of the pack starts to gather around the pool, smiling and laughing as I play with the kids.

As I get ready to throw Adam into the pool again, I see mother and Andy making their way outback. I put Adam back down, not wanting mother to freak out on the both of us. Adam looks up at me with a raised eyebrow, wondering why I put him down.

I nod over to mother.

Adam let out a sigh. "She's always ruining my fun." He folds his arms across his chest, frowning a little.

I let out a low chuckle, ruffling his wet hair. I felt the same way when I was his age.

"She'll back off once you get your wolf," I tell him.

Mother and Andy make their way over to me. "You're their alpha now?" Mother asks frowning a little. I guess Andy told her. He's linked to us so he would've felt all the others being linked to the pack. Andy gives me a nod smiling, he seems happy for me.

"Yeah," I tell her. She said that she wanted Lisa and me to have a normal life and leading a pack is far from normal, so I don't know how she will feel about it.

"Are you sure this is what you want?" She looks up at me.

"Yeah." I give her a nod. It's too late to turn back now. I'm their alpha and this is my pack.

She gives me a smile. "If this is what you want, then I will support your decision."

I return her smile, giving her a nod.

I look over as Ryan and Donna quickly make their way pass everyone, coming over to me with a panic look on their face.

"BJ the attack on the first pack is going to start at nightfall." Ryan says causing me to frown.

If the attacks on the pack are about to start, that must mean the vampire king has found the alpha king's location.

"What pack?" The sun will be going down in a couple more hours. I need to get to this pack and stop them from being wiped out.

Ryan starts to text someone on his phone to find out what pack is being targeted tonight. I stand here waiting for whoever that's giving Ryan this information to reply.

"The black rain pack." Ryan read the text, before looking back up at me.

"Does anyone here know where the black rain pack is located!?" I get everyone's attention. I don't have any time to waste. I need to get there before the attack starts.

"I know." I look over at this male, remembering that his name is Malcolm.

"What's going on?" Alia asked with a raised eyebrow, walking over to me with Lisa, Frank, Freddy, and Fin.

"The attacks on the packs are starting tonight." I tell her.

"What attacks?" Freddy looks at me, looking lost about all of this. So much has been happening, that I forgot to fill them in about this.

"I'll fill you all in on our way there," I tell Freddy, right now I need to find the Black rain pack.

"Malcolm where is this pack located." I bring my attention back to Malcolm.

"It's located outside of a city, about seven hours from here." The sun should be setting in about five more hours. The forest won't lead us all the way to that city, it's too far away. We won't get there in time if we travel by car.

"Fuck!! It's too far!" I say not knowing what to do.

"I know all the safe lands, I can get you there before the sun sets if we travel in wolf form," Malcolm tells me.

Sometimes wolves aren't always able to travel through a forest, so wolves created safe lands. These safe lands allow wolves to travel from city to city and state to state in their wolf form safely without being spotted by humans, but I'm not familiar with many of these safe lands.

"My prince, we will like to join and help you protect this pack." Malcolm and all other wolves who wants to help, bow their heads to me in agreement.

I give them a nod, knowing we could use the help.

"We'll be back tomorrow," I tell Alia as I lean down and place a kiss on her lips.

I leave with some of the members from my pack, following Malcolm, leading us through all the safe lands, heading to the black rain pack.

Once we make it to the border of their land, we're met by their border patrol.

"Where's your alpha," I ask the five wolves, but my words are met with growls and sharp teeth.

As The five wolves get ready to attack, I let out a deep growl, letting my dominance leak from me hitting them. They start to back away tucking their tails.

"Take me to your alpha now!" I command them.

The five wolves turn and start to walk as we follow behind them through the forest. I start to smell father scent, it's faint but I can smell it. Father has been here.

But why, this isn't one of the main packs.

I hear paws beating against the ground as I start to see about a hundred wolves coming our way through the trees. I hear growls coming from my pack standing behind me, watching the wolves coming our way.

"We're not here as their enemy, were here to help them," I tell my pack, frowning back at them.

"Well, it doesn't really look like they want our help," Frank say through the mind link growling, taking a fighting stance, watching the wolves get closer and closer.

I step forward letting out a loud roar, letting my dominance pour from me. The wolves quickly come to a stop about fifty yards away from us. We don't have much time, the sun will start to set soon.

I watch as the alpha shift back.

"Who are you?" He looks over at me with a frown.

"I'm BJ, the prince." The frown slowly leaves his face as he slightly bows his head to me, and the wolves behind him lower their heads to the ground.

"I gave your father what he wanted and no one here has committed any crimes." He looks at me with a slight frown, not sure why I'm here.

Word of me punishing that wolf for his crimes has spread quickly. This pack is nowhere near that other pack, but they know about what happened.

"What did my father want from you?" I ask him wondering why father was here. This male isn't from a firstborn alpha bloodline, so what business did father have here.

"He came here for the location of my cousin's pack. My father wouldn't give it to him so he kills him. I don't mean to sound rude my prince, but why are you here?" he asks.

"The war is beginning tonight, vampires will be attacking your pack once the sun goes down," I explain to him. It won't be too much longer before this attack starts.

"We can handle those bloodsuckers." he lets out a low growl.

"It won't be a group of vampires, it will be a group of vampires covens." His frown deepens, taking in my words. We will still be outnumbered, but with Lisa and me, it should make the fight pretty even for the wolves.

"How many pack warriors do you have?" I need to know just how outnumbered we will be. This isn't a main pack so they shouldn't have that many warriors.

"I have one hundred and fifty-two warriors." He tells me.

"Get them all ready." I look up at the sky to see the sun is starting to go down.

We don't have much time.

We follow him back to their packhouse where all their pack warriors have gathered, waiting for their alpha to tell them why he has gathered them all here. I hear some of the wolves whispering to the wolves who just showed up, telling them who I am.

"Listen up!" He says getting his warrior's attention.

"The war with the vampire is starting tonight. A group of vampire covens is on their way here. We have been training for this, so you all know what to do." He says to his pack.

"Why do they have a bloodsucker with them." A member from their pack says glaring over at Ryan.

I let out a growl, causing the male to bow his head, baring his neck to me. "He's apart of my pack, so I suggest you all get very familiar with his face and scent quickly. Because if anyone of you attacks him on purpose or by mistake when the fighting starts, you will answer with your life." I glare at them all, stopping at their alpha. I wait for any of them to interject, but they all stand before me with their head bowed, not saying a word.

I sniff the air picking up on the scent of vampires. They are miles away, but their scent in closing in fast.

"They're coming." I frown.

Everyone starts to sniff the air trying to pick up on the scent, But I know they won't be able to smell the vampires just yet. They're too far away.

"Don't spread out, stay together, and watch each other backs," I tell everyone. We will be outnumbered so the best strategy for them is to stay together and fight. If they spread out it will only make it easy for the vampire to outnumber and kill them one by one.

I shift, taking off west on all fours with the wolves right behind me. Lisa catches up next to me. We pull away from the wolves. If Lisa and I get to them first,  just by them seeing us will throw them off, leaving them stunned, making it easier for the wolves to take them out.

I pick up the pace, turning the trees around me into blurs. I run weaving from side to side dodging the trees. I let out a loud roar, seeing the vampires in the distance, coming through the trees fast.

Lisa and I crash into them like a bowling ball into pins. I move through the vampires, meeting them head-on with sharp claws and teeth. The vampires attack, trying to use their numbers to their advantage. I slice and rip them off of me as they try to take me down.

I kill vampire after vampire as they continue to pour in, soaking the forest floor with their blood. The wolves join the fight, killing the vampires while their attention was focused on Lisa and me.

The vampire's numbers started to decrease fast, as the fight goes on for a while. Soon the rest of the vampires started to retreat, taking off, disappearing into the night. I look around to see hundreds of dead and injured vampire on the forest floor.

I walk over and grab one of the live vampires by his shirt, lifting him from the ground into the air. "Tell your king that the attacks on the packs stop now! The alpha king is no longer in charge!" I throw him to the ground and he quickly gets up taking off through the forest, disappearing.

I look around at the other injured vampires on the ground. "Kill them all, then burn the bodies." The wolves waste no time as they start to kill the rest of the vampires.

"Thank you, my prince, we wouldn't have survived this attack without your help." The alpha says bowing his head to me. I give him a small nod in return.

"A few of the wolves for your pack are injured, but nothing life-threatening. Our healers will take a look at them. You all are welcome to stay until everyone is in shape to leave." He tells me.

I give him a nod. They should be completely healed in a couple of hours. Most of them are just common wolves, their healing doesn't work as fast as an alpha or a beta wolf. But once I train them, making their wolves stronger, they'll be able to heal much faster.
