Darkness' POV

I used my powers to evaporate the blood off of my claws, feet, face, and body. Then I looked at them as they stare at me in fear and horror.

"I know, I know, it was a little evil for me to do that to the bear, but I had no other choice besides ripping it apart and wasting my chance to put it out of it's misery quickly. I know that you are horrified and scared about my...skill-set, and that's why when I get us out of here, and after I get my chains back then we'll go our separate ways, or I could continue to follow and protect you. I don't care which you choose, and I am not happy about killing the innocent bear either, so I made it quick" I said and then waited in silence while they came up with questions, and eventually one did come up, but it wasn't one that I liked.

"What you do you mean by 'chains'?" one of the younger ones, the supposed mind-reader, said and I growled in annoyance and sighed about to answer when she asked another question "and why are your teeth silver?"

"My teeth are silver because of some things in my past which none of you would be able to handle, and I refer to my chains that way because unlike you guys who's chains are wrapped around your souls, mine was ripped from me and placed around a contract that kept me from harming the being owning or holding my soul stone"

"Wait your contract is a stone" the leader asked and I shook my head

"No my contract is invisible and appears whenever it is passed down to someone else, and my soul has been chained to a stone, and if I destroy that stone, or kill it's owner then I am free, but I would also have to burn the contract non existent or someone else could just make another stone, capture me, and rip it from me again"

"So if the original contract and the first stone is destroyed then you'll be free" the one that looked a little like Nico said and I nodded.

"That's why I couldn't rip apart that lady the first time I was let out of my cage, and that's why I am not just ripping this one apart, cutting through the field, and turning this place into rubble" I growled and then the door opened again and that lady came in, and I searched for the chain connecting me and that stone, and I found it on her neck as a piece of jewelry. I growled and dug my nails into the bottom of my cage angrily looking at it. She seemed to have noticed and she took it off and the jem glowed a bright red in the darkness, brighter than my eyes, but it called to me and I couldn't  we do crap about it.

"I am going to tear you apart once I get that stone back" I growled and she touched it with a finger and I couldn't move, couldn't talk, but I could still glare at her with what I learned from Lupa after Hera took me and wiped my memories.

"Tsk tsk tsk. You are going to do no such thing while I have this" she held it in-front of my face and I shook with rage and tried moving, tried to growl, tried to snap and bit at her, but I couldn't. I sensed a godly presence here and I saw a flash of golden hair and winged sneakers in my peripheral before it disappeared and I was left disappointed and angry at being helpless to my prey. She put it back under her shirt and walked back, and as soon as she did I slammed myself against my cage making a large dent in it and there was a buzzing sound and I braced myself for what was to come. The cage charged with electricity and then it was all discharged into me making sparks dance and light up my skin and I growled trying to contain some small bit of it, but it reached my reserve and I screeched as the electricity tore them apart and razed my body before stopping. I fell on all fours smoking and panting, but shakily sat up and glared at the closed door before covering myself with my pitch-black wings and closing my eyes for the night.

Max's POV

We needed to get that stone in some way, but how. The guards weren't to come back till morning and the boy was asleep for the night, so I turned to others.

"Any plans" I asked and they shook their heads "well we have the night to figure out something" and for pretty much half the time we sat in silence thinking about what to do, and then Fang spoke up and we all listened carefully and added in things that would make it better, and factors that could destroy it and after doing that for an hour we got into roles and slept for the night.

"Wake up it's time to watch your buddy fight" he said and he looked at each-other in confusion, this wasn't brought up in the plan "oh and it's battling someone you know" the Eraser looked at me evilly and my heart sank, Ari.
