Lisa

The next morning I'm woken up by the sound of my phone ringing. I reach over and grab it off the bedside table, looking at the screen to see that it's BJ who's call.

"Hello." My voice comes out lowly, wondering why he's calling so early.

"I'm just calling to give you a heads up, that father is on his way there," BJ tells me.

I sit up in the bed, glancing over at Lucious who's still asleep next to me.

"Why is father coming here?" I ask, wondering what reason father have for coming here.

"Your mate attacked a pack, taking things that weren't his to take....you didn't know about this?" BJ asks.

I'm unable to say anything as what BJ tells me leaves me frozen, speechless. A part of me starts to panic, worried what father is coming here to do to Lucious. Is he going to kill him? Is he going to lock him away? What did Lucious do?

"Lisa are you still there?" BJ call my name, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Y-yes I'm here," I say, letting him know I'm still on the phone.

"He just left, so I was just letting you know." He says.

After I end the call with BJ, I glare over at Lucious who's still sleeping.

He lied to me!

"Lucious!" I growl out, getting out of the bed.

He rolls over, not waking up.

"Lucious!" I call his name louder, walking around to his side of the bed, pulling the cover off of him.

He slowly opens his eyes, looking up at me glaring down at him. "What?" His voice comes out raspy.

"You lied to me! You attacked those people! You promised me that you would ask for the herbs and not kill anyone!" I growl out, glaring at him. He stood there and lied to my face.

He frowns, sitting up in the bed. "I didn't lie to you. I told you I would ask and that I wouldn't kill anyone for those herbs, and I did just that."

"Don't be a smart ass Lucious! You knew what I meant. You attacked that pack taking herbs that weren't yours to take." I glare over at him on the bed.

He can't just go around taking things that are not yours. This is exactly what I tried to avoid. I didn't want Lucious to do something that will cause father to have to enforce the law.

"If they weren't assholes and just had given me a few of the herbs, then I wouldn't have attacked and taken them. I didn't kill anyone. I just got the herbs my mother needed. It's over and done." He says, shrugging.

"It's not over and done. My father is coming here. You may think you are, but You're not above the law Lucious." Lucious can no longer do whatever he wants anymore. He will have to answer to someone now, whether he wants to or not.

Father is getting the wolves back in order and that goes for Lucious as well. He's not above the law.

"He's no king here," Lucious growl out, glaring over at me. "Let him come. I'm not afraid of him. He's going to get what's coming to him soon enough." Lucious gets out of bed, going over to the dresser taking out a shirt.

"You had no reason to attack that pack Lucious. You're selfish and only think about yourself." He's only causing more problems.

"I'm not selfish, I did what I did for my mother." He frowns over at me.

"No, you did it for yourself and your ego. I could've gotten your mother those herbs, but your ego is so big that you couldn't put it aside to let me help you." I could have gotten those herbs, but because they would've come from my family he didn't want them.

"I didn't need your help getting them." He says, pulling the shirt over his head, putting it on, before leaving the room.

I spend the day constantly checking the time, dreading the moment father gets here, not knowing what he plans to do about Lucious attacking that pack. I don't want anything to happen to Lucious.

While I worry, Lucious seems to be perfectly calm, but I'm afraid for him, and its nerve racking knowing father is getting closer and closer as the hour's pass.

I take in a deep breath, trying to calm myself as I stand here looking out the living room window. Lucious didn't kill anyone so maybe that's a good thing. Maybe if I talked to father and explained to him that Lucious needed those herbs because his mother was nearing death, then maybe he would be more understanding about what Lucious did.

I'm not trying to make an excuse for what Lucious did, because I know what he did was wrong. I just Don't want anything to happen to him.

I freeze, sensing father. He's not here, but he's close and he's presence is quickly growing stronger. I start to panic a bit, knowing father is here and not knowing what he has come here to do to Lucious.

I look over, hearing the office door open, watching as Lucious pass by the living room with a glare on his face, heading towards the front door.

"Lucious, where are you going." I'm sure he can feel father's presence as well. It's strong and undeniable.

I leave the living room, following him out the front door into the cold, not bothering to grab my coat. I shiver, feeling the cold wind blow into me.

"Lucious," I call out to him as I follow him over to his car, seeing that he's pissed.

I don't need to ask to know why he's angry. He can feel that father is coming and Lucious feels the need to prove he's not afraid.

I walk over and get into the passenger side, closing the door.

"Go back into the house Lisa." He looks over at me with that glare still covering his face.

"I'm coming with you." I put my seatbelt on, letting him know that I'm not getting out.

With Lucious ego and the need to show he's not afraid, he probably will escalate things in this situation. I'm going to stop this from escalating into something far beyond what it should.

Lucious looks at me for a second longer, before starting the car up, backing out the driveway.

As Lucious drive through the streets of the pack, heading towards the main road that leads out of the pack territory. I swallow the lump in my throat as I look around at the thick snowy trees that line both sides of the road, feeling father presences grow stronger the further we drive.

I look ahead, seeing wolves standing there at the borders of the pack's land as a black SUV drives up, knowing that's father.

Once Lucious stop the car and get out, I take in a breath, trying to calm my nerves. I get out of the car and head over to the front with Lucious.

I stand here watching as the Black SUV makes its way down the long road, coming towards us. I fold my arms across my chest as the cold winds start to seep into my bones, causing me to shiver. I let my beast come forward, rising my body temperature warming me.

I look over at Lucious who's glaring at the SUV.

"Lucious, pl-please don't push for a fight." Lucious is angry and I feel like things will turn bad quickly.

He Doesn't say anything as he continues to glare over at the black SUV.

Once the SUV stops, I watch as father get out the passenger side, uncle Fred gets out the driver side and Fin and Frank get out the back.

Uncle Fred, Frank and Fin stand there in front of the SUV while father makes his way over to us, wearing a long light brown trench coat and black leather gloves, with casual black dress pants and shoes, like the last time I saw him.

Father stops in front of Lucious and I. He looks over at me standing next to Lucious, before bringing his attention to a glaring Lucious.

"This is the second pack you have attacked and this will not be tolerated. You're being warned once and one time only. If it happens again, you will pay for your crimes as law sees fit." Father tells Lucious, with a slight frown.

"You don't come here giving out orders," Lucious growl out. As Lucious go to take a step towards father, I reach out grabbing the back of his shirt, pulling him back.

"Father, he only did it because he needed those herbs to help his dying mother." I quickly say, trying to change the subject and hope to distracted father from reacting to the things Lucious just said.

Lucious let out a deep growl, glaring over at me before glaring back at father. "I Don't have to answer to you about anything!" Lucious tells father.

"Lucious," I call his name, pleading with him to stop. Father only came here to warn Lucious about attack another pack, but Lucious is making things worse than what they have to be.

"Step away Lisa." Father's voice comes out low and deadly, now glaring at Lucious.

"Please father, Don't do this," I beg him. I Don't want anything to happen to Lucious.

"Move Lisa, I'm not afraid of this piece of shit," Lucious says, glaring back at father. I can feel the power pouring for Lucious, challenging father.

I frown over at Lucious, knowing he just can't seem to stop. He just has to push and push to feed his ego.

"Step away Lisa." Father's voice comes out low and calm, but I can feel the command behind those words, forcing me to move away against my will.

Lucious swing sharp claws at father, but father reaches up and catches Lucious's wrist before it has a chance to make contact.

He reaches out and grabs Lucious by his throat, lifting him off the ground. Father let out a deep growl, flashing Lucious sharp teeth, before throwing Lucious, sending him crashing hard into the trees lining the sides of the road. Lucious body slams into the thick tree trunk, hearing the sickening sound of bones breaking.

The pack warriors growl out, but no one moves from their spot

I look over as Frank shift into his grey wolf and quickly take off pass us, heading towards the pack.

Not knowing what Frank is doing, I look back over at father as he removes his black leather gloves, before taking off his brown trench coat. Fin walk over and take the coat and gloves from him, as Father starts to unbutton the black shirt his wearing and hand it to Fin, leaving him in just his black dress pants and shoes.

I watch as father takes in a deep breath, slowly releasing it. Visible steam rises from his body as he let his body temperature rise in this freezing weather. He glare over at Lucious. I can feel the power pouring from father, causing everyone back away, bearing their necks to him.

"Father, that's enough," I say, wanting this to stop.

"St-Stay out of this Lisa!" Lucious growls out as he slowly stands up from the ground, popping his dislocated shoulder back in place.

Lucious move quickly, placing a hard blow to father's face, causing father to stumble back.

Fear rise in me for Lucious, knowing father will probably kill him for this.

Before Lucious gets to attack again, father starts to quickly slice deep into Lucious body with sharp claws, before placing a front kick to his chest, sending Lucious crashing back into the trees again.

I watch in fear as father walks over and grab Lucious by his throat, lifting him up from the ground, pinning him up against the tree.

"You ever try something like this again, it'll be the last thing you'll ever do," Father growl out, choking Lucious up against the thick tree.

"He gets it, Father!" I say, watching as Lucious hands go up to father's wrist, struggling to breathe.

Not too long after, Lucious arms drop and his body goes limp as he passes out from the lack of oxygen. Father releases him, letting his limp body drop to the ground like a sack of rocks.

I quickly make my way over to Lucious, kneeling down next to his bloody unconscious body.

Father walks back over, taking his shirt from Fin and puts it back on, before putting on his coat and gloves.

Hearing a females voice, I look over seeing Frank heading our way, carrying a female over his shoulder. As he gets closer, I realize its Lucious's sister Tilda.

"What are you doing Frank?" I frown, hearing Tilda scream and kick to be let loose.

"She's my mate." He says with a frown, heading towards the SUV.

"Lucious! Help me Lucious!" She calls out to her unconscious brother, but her cries fall on death ears.

"Uncle Jax! Don't let them take me!" She screams out.

Jax large brown wolf takes a threatening step forward, growling and snapping sharp teeth.

"Don't be stupid." Father glare over at Jax as he buttons his coat.

Jax continues to growl, but Don't move from his spot, watching as Frank force Tilda into the SUV.

I stand up from Lucious's unconscious body as father makes his way back over to me.

"I suggest you talk to your mate. He's on a dangerous path that will only end badly for him." Father tells me, before placing a kiss on my forehead, walking away. I let out a sigh, knowing that's easier said than done.

I watch as they get back into the black SUV and drive away.

Jax walks over and shifts back, lifting Lucious limp body off the cold snow, taking him over to the car.
