Poem - Conqueror
For once a beaten rabid dog ran
while the echoes were close behind
spinning the thick dust, round and round
never surrender, till he is safe and sound
Poor dog searching for a niche to battle then settle
only to find the city pierced his brain as hot needle
though he was raised by wolves and other beasts
too bruised to fight, drown by streams of prejudice
The screaming blizzards of Alaska hide and seek
telling winter tales of being wasted and disgusted
of how he has neither regret nor hopes
for now he is running with the wolves

Dedicated to the unspoken one
