I'm happy to announce that this will be the last chapter of Lustful December! I am happy since I found myself continuing this story and finished it. It was so heartwarming upon writing this story. I found myself in writing again. And guess what, despite how busy I am with the cases I face everyday, I was able to digest all my pending stories🫶🫶 To God be all the glory and success of this collaboration. It's 9:30 in the evening, a perfect date of both Alexander and Helen was made right on the night sky in the rooftop of his own building. Beneath the horizon of a night sky, Alexander led Helen in the middle. There, amidst of a cold breezing wind, a lighted candle in the center of a round table, and a bouquet of colourful tulips were provided. A radiant smile formed into Helen's lips as the romantic scene lingers around.

A petals that were scattered on the floor were blown by a wind. In that scenario, Alexander put a Canada goose expedition parka jacket on her shoulder, that is good for a cold weather which is extremely known for its warmth and expensive brand. Helen was startled but then she smiled at him.

"Thank you, agapi mou..." she muttered.

Alexander smiled.

"Are you happy?" he asked.

The date she was expecting happened now. Her heart hammered with so much happiness. Hindi niya alam kung ano pa ang kaniyang mararamdaman maliban sa sayang nababalot sa kaniyang puso.

"So happy... So much happiness, Alexander," she respond.

Alexander smiled warmly. He guided her to sit and serve her the food. The date was so romantic. It was the best night that had happens to Helen's life but it wasn't the happiest yet.

After they finished their food, both of them watched the constellation of stars with a telescope.

"The stars are beautiful..." Helen uttered as if she didn't see any of it around the organization she was with.

"Yeah... It's beautiful," Alexander agreed while staring at her.

Nahuli iyon ni Helen kaya ang hibla ng kaniyang buhok na tumatabing sa kaniyang pisngi ay dahan dahan niyang inipit iyon sa likod ng kaniyang tainga.

"Why are you... staring at me?" she asked him with confusion.

Alexander chortled, held her waist, and went behind her. He was now back hugging while watching the constellation of stars. The warm embrace made by  Alexander is the warmest for Helen. Alexander planted a soft kiss on her shoulder blade and feel sensual on it.

Instead of answering her question, he showered her with kisses. Under the night sky, Alexander is trying his best not to end the night without an answer to her proposal.

"Watch closely, love..." he whispered.

Helen wondered. She could hear a sound of helicopter. The wind embrace her and it's cold yet Alexander's embrace is warmer.

An aerial banner with a bold written letter in it saying, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

"What..." she couldn't say a word.

Nakatingin pa rin sa langit si Helen ngunit pinaharap siya ng binata. Tinitigan ang mga mata nito.

"I don't want to end this day without asking you, Helen..." He started. "I want us to be together. I want you in my life. I want us to settle down."

"Alexander..." maluha-luhang sambit ni Helen.

Hindi siya makapagsalita ng maayos. Napupuno ng kasiyahan ang kaniyang puso. Her heart beat so fast that she wasn't able to speak what was on her mind.

Naging emosyonal si Helen sa bawat salitang lumalabas sa bibig ng binata.

"Why are you crying, love?" Hindi mapigilan ni Alexander na tanungin ang dalaga habang pinupunasan ang luha nito.

Helen bit her lip. "I... I can't stop myself from crying, agapi mou..." her voice broke. "This is my first time to be surprised like this... I wasn't expecting something but this is too much..."

Alexander smiled.

He bent on his knees, his hair was blown by a wind yet it wasn't a hindrance for him to see her emotions.

With a trembling hands, he opened the red velvet box that he brought to his pocket. A dazzling crystal ring, with a multiple and sparkling diamonds around the band is being presented and once again, Alexander asked her.

"Answer me, love... Will you allow this man to walk you down the aisle and spend the rest of his life with you... and your baby?"

Helen nodded her head. Hindi talaga niya alam kung sasagot siya dahil nag-uumapaw ang kasiyahan sa sistema niya.

She just stood there, overwhelmed and stunned with his words with her tears still streaming on her eyes.

With a quivering voice, she respond on his proposal.

"Yes, Alexander..." sagot niya.

She bit her lip and cupped his cheeks.

"I would love to marry you, agapi mou..." she repeated.

Alexander couldn't hide himself anymore. When Helen offered her hand, he slid the ring on her ring finger and gently planted a soft kiss in it.

He stood up and showered her kisses on the face and lastly to her lips, saying how much he loves her and their unborn baby.

"I am responsible for you two..." he assured. "I am not marrying you just because of the baby... But I am marrying you because I would love to wake up beside you every morning and cuddle you at night..."

Helen kissed him. A passionate one. She was overwhelmed yet she made him happy at the thought of marrying him.

"You really know how to amaze me, my love..." Alexander uttered without hesitation. "I feel like I am floating in cloud nine right now. My night... It is the happiest night of my life."

The happiness in their heart is unforgettable. Pinakatitigan ni Helen ang kaniyang singsing at itinaas pa niya ang kaniyang kamay upang pagmasdan ng maigi iyon. Mamahalin ang singsing na nakasuot sa kaniyang daliri. Hindi iyon pipitsugin lamang dahil galante ang nagbigay.

Buong gabi, may nakapaskil na ngiti sa kani-kanilang labi. Hanggang sa pagtulog, sigurado na si Helen sa kaniyang naging desisyon, iyon ay ang piliin ang kasiyahan niya. Mahal niya si Alexander at alam niya sa sarili niya na tama ang naging desisyon niya.

Hindi niya maitago ang kasiyahan na nararamdaman habang tinititigan ang singsing niya. She's now finally engage with the man she was just spying. Ang kaniyang inaalala na lamang ngayon ay kung paano niya makakausap ang mga kaibigan niya sa head quarters nila.

Matagal na niya iyong pinag-isipan. Ang magpaalam at makausap ang kanilang boss at ang mga kasamahan na rin niya. Sa umagang iyon, humugot siya ng malalim na paghinga at kinausap ng masinsinan ang binata.

"Alexander... Let's talk," mariin at masuyong yakag niya sa kasintahan.

May pag-aalinlangan man, sumunod pa rin si Alexander sa library ng kaniyang penthouse. Naroon pa rin sila sa Athens at hindi pa rin sila bumabalik sa mansion.

"What is it, love?" he asked sensually.

Helen bit her lip. "I would like to talk with my boss and my co-agents," she told him. "I should make a proper resignation..."

Kumunot ang noo ni Alexander.

"What for? Can't you just contact them?" punong-puno ng pag-aalala sa tono nito.

She shook her head.

"It should be in person, agapi mou..." malumanay ang boses niya. "I should face them. My mission still exist," dugtong pa niya.

Alexander's jaw clenched. Naiinis siya.

"I don't want you to go, Helen. You know, you are pregnant and you can't be seen around. What if my enemies will hunt you? What if the organization who wants me dead will hurt and kill you?" pinipigilan lamang ni Alexander na huwag magtaas ng boses dahil alam niyang emosyonal masyado si Helen.

As long as he keeps his tone down, she won't think that he was mad but worried. Their eyes met and Helen knew that he won't let her go.

"Please, love... I would like to settle everything before we walked down the aisle..." she mumbled and encircled her arms on his nape.

Alexander look away. Ayaw niyang makita ang pagmamakaawa ng kaniyang kasintahan. Gusto lamang naman niyang ligtas at laging nakikita ito.

Labag man sa loob ni Alexander, ilang minuto ang lumipas nang tapunan niya muli ng tingin ang kasintahan.

"Promise me," he trailed off.

"Promise what?"

He sighed. "Promise me to come back unscathed. No bruises, love..." his voice cracked a little.

Helen nodded her head.

"Damn it!" he cursed and hugged her tight. "I don't want you to go but I realized, it's really important to face them. I am just thinking of your safety. Of both of you and the baby..." he whispered as if he doesn't want to let her go already.

"I promise, I won't go home scathed and with bruises. I will get back to you safe..." she assured him.

Humiwalay na ng yakap si Alexander.

"Is that really your decision? I would like to come with you. Please, let me come with you, love..." pagsusumamo niya.

She shook her head again.

"You can't come with me, Alexander. Please understand, love. The organization I am in is  private and I can't just go there with someone else..."

"But I am not that someone else, Helen!" he hissed. "I was just worried about you and our baby... I can't lose you both. I take responsibility on you and losing both of you will be my downfall..." nahihimigan ng inis ang boses nito ngunit pinilit pa rin niyang kumalma dahil ang desisyon na hayaan ang kasintahan ay mabigat na para sa kaniya.

Dahil sa totoo lang, walang kasiguraduhan kung babalik siyang buhay o babalik siyang walang sugat o anuman. Ang senaryo na kung saan nakita niyang duguan ang dalaga noon ang tumatakbo sa isip niya. Iniisip niya na baka maulit iyon muli at madamay ang kanilang magiging anak.

Helen smiled at the thought of Alexander saying those words on her. Alam niyang hindi kakayanin ni Alexander kapag napahamak silang dalawa ng kaniyang anak at sigurado siyang nag-aalala ito sa kaniya.

"You won't lose me, I promise you that," aniya at ginawaran ng masuyo at siguradong halik ang labi ni Alexander na siya namang nirespondehan agad nito.

In between their kiss, Alexander tells her how much he loves her.

"I love you. Come back to me unscathed and safe. You promised me, Mrs. Adamos..." he begged. "We will still walked on the aisle, so promise me..."

Helen sighed deeply and nodded her head and stared at him intently.

"Promise, we'll walk on the aisle, agapi mou..." she promised. "So, wait for me and I'll get back to you."

With worries plastered in his eyes, he nodded his head. He embraces her once again, and exchange a lingering kiss which seals their promises they had.

"I will wait for you, love. Even if it means forever... I will still wait for you to come back to me." Alexander whispered, his voice almost cracked. "Take care of yourself and our little one. If you have spare time, text me and don't leave me thinking that I couldn't hold you anymore."

Helen smiled. They separate ways after that day. After that heartwarming words they expressed with each other. Helen's co-agent is waiting for her. Nagpasundo siya sa pinakamalapit na airport sa Athens.

Nang masundo siya ng mga ito, nagkaroon ng kumustahan. Ibinalita na rin niya ang kaniyang pagpapakasal sa mga kaibigan at kasamahan.

"I thought, you are just joking when you tell us that you will be getting married!" tudyo ni Deanne, ang kaibigan niya.

"No. I am not joking, Deanne. I am going to marry that Greek mafia boss," she replied with a smile in her face.

Deanne nodded. "How about the mission? I don't know if it was success or not but the information you had, it's already done. It's already exposed but damn! Your man is capable of turning it down because it wasn't even true and he was just set up."

"He knows everything, Deanne. He's capable of everything."

Nang makarating sila sa head quarters, nagpahinga muna sila. Sa buong maghapon na iyon, hindi nagawang mag-text o tumawag man lang ni Helen sa kasintahan. She was wearing her black chameleon suit while waiting for her boss in the Red Room.

Hindi naman siya kinakabahan, parang normal na lang iyon sa kaniya dahil sa wakas magiging malaya siya. Wala siyang misyon na iisipin.

"Agent Dekemvrios..." ani ng boses mula sa kaniyang likuran.

Siya ay nakaupo sa couch at nakatalikod siya sa may pintuan. Tumayo siya nang marinig ang boses na iyon at nilingon ito. Nakasuot ng maskara ang kaniyang boss. Hindi niya makita ang mukha nito. Wala pa rin itong pinagbago, ayaw pa rin ng kaniyang boss na ipakita ang mukha nito.

"It's nice to see you, my favorite agent!" bati nito.

Helen smiled. "Mr. Red, it was nice to see you. You're still wearing your mask. Don't you want me to see your face before I resign?"

Naupo silang dalawa. Mata sa mata.

"I was disappointed when you gave me an intel about you resigning because you fall in love with your mission..." ani Mr. Red na dismayado.

Helen shrugged her shoulders. "It's what you called fate, boss. I wouldn't fall for him if he didn't impregnate me," she answered.

Mr. Red sighed. "I never thought that you will be resigning in my agency..."

"That's life. I need to focus now about my self, about my baby... and about my soon to be family."

Mr. Red crossed his arms over his chest. "You are my favorite agent and I don't want to prolong this. So, I already signed your resignation. I am glad to all your efforts and service in the agency for how many years."

Helen smiled. Alam niyang maayos na iyon at tanggap na rin ng kaniyang amo na kailangan niyang kumalas. Para sa kaligtasan niya at sa magiging anak niya.

"Thank you for accepting me, Mr. Red. The organization... the agency became my life before, but now I should be happy. I should build my own family."

Tumango si Mr. Red bilang pagsang-ayon sa kaniyang sinabi.

"Good luck and congratulations to your soon to be wedding. All grace is to you," Mr. Red congratulates her.

"Thank you, Mr. Red. You are the best!"

Naging maayos ang pag-uusap nila. Bago matapos ang gabing iyon, nagkayayaan ang magkakaibigan bilang pagpugay na rin sa kaniyang pag-alis. Nag-celebrate sila sa loob ng head quarters. Napuno rin ng pagbati si Helen sa parating niyang kasal.

"All of you are invited. I will sent to you an invitation once it's settled." Sabi niya sa mga kasamahan.

Nag-cheers ang mga ito ng kanilang mga baso ngunit si Helen ay hindi uminom. Sa loob ng tatlong araw na pananatili sa kanilang organisasyon, alam niyang paglabas niya ay sigurado na siya sa tatahakin niyang landas. Ang pagpapakasal.

"Call me when you need me, Helen. Don't forget to chat me. I am your bestfriend so do not forget this beauty!" napapalabing sambit ng kaniyang kaibigan.

She rolled her eyes. "As if I forget you, Deanne! That won't happen!"

"Aba! Dapat lang, Helen. Kung ayaw mong kalbuhin kitang bruha ka!" banta nito at pinandilatan ng mata.

Natawa si Helen at binigyan ng mahigpit na yakap ang kaibigan. "Galingan mo sa misyon mo, Deanne. Kapag nakilala mo na rin ang lalaking para sa iyo, mararanasan mo rin ang pagmamahal na ninanais ng puso mo..."

They both hug each other and then bid their goodbye afterwards. They already separate ways and Helen had a smile on her face that can't be erase. She's free. No missions and no risking of her life anymore.

"The only mission I have to do... Is to take care of my baby and my soon-to-be-husband. My new mission is to embrace and stay with them for the rest of my life..." Helen mumbled as she crossed Alexander's mansion.
