Helen woke up with a heavy arms wrapped around her. Alexander's scent lingers on her nose which makes her eyes wide open.

"Good morning," she greeted when she looked at him with so much adoration.

Alexander stared at her. "Good morning, baby..." he muttered then caressed her womb. "Morning, buddy!"

Lihim na napangiti na lamang si Helen dahil sa inasal ng binata. Parang naging isang maamong tupa ito nang malaman na buntis siya.

"Alexander..." she called him.

"Hmm? What is it, love?"

Umayos ng higa si Helen at isinandal ang kaniyang ulo sa headboard ng kama.

"I'm... quitting," she said.

She waited for his words but he didn't even talk but listened to her.

"I'll resign as an agent... For sure, they will understand." Dugtong niya. "I mean, I can work being pregnant but... I don't want to take risk the baby."

Alexander held her hands.

"I understand. I always understand, Helen. I'm glad about that. I mean, I will be at peace... If something bad happens to the both of you..." he heaved a deep sigh. "I can't forgive myself..."

Helen felt relieve but at the same time sad about something.

"Do you accept me, Alexander?" She asked him throughly. "Or you are just doing this because of the baby?"

He creased his forehead, clench his jaw and swallowed hard.

"Why do you think that I am just doing this because of the baby?" He raised his brow. "Helen... I am doing this because I love you. I am doing this because I need you. I am doing this because... I want to marry you."

Natigilan si Helen sa sinabi ni Alexander. Who wouldn't be startled with his words of affirmation.

Helen thought of him being heartless but the man she was facing right now, he's different. From the words he was saying. The affirmation that Helen wants to hear... It's a mindset of a real man.

"What do you want me to give up, Helen?" He asked. He looks so upset. "What do you want me to do... For you to believe me?"

Helen shook her head.

"Nothing, Alexander. You don't need to do anything," she said.

Alexander knitted his forehead. He doesn't want her to overthink but something is bothering him.

"I am willing to give up everything, Helen," Alexander said smoothly.

Helen didn't even move from her position yet Alexander pressed himself even more on her. With encircling his arms on her, she was stiffened. Hindi alam ni Helen Kung ano ang kaniyang gagawin dahil hindi rin naman siya makakilos.

"Just get up, Alexander..." she speaks up. "You stinks!" she added.

Alexander chortled. But before he gets up, he gave her a kiss on her temple. On her forehead and lastly, on her lips. Wala naman naging reklamo si Helen dahil nagustuhan naman niya ang halik ng binata.

Tumayo si Alexander na walang suot na damit. Nag-iwas naman ng tingin si Helen at itinago ang pamumula ng kaniyang mukha. Narinig niya ang pagtawa ng binata kaya sinamaan niya ito ng tingin.

"What's funny?" masungit na tanong niya.

Alexander shook his head. "Nothing, love..." he replied.

Helen heaved a deep breath when Alexander walked away from the bed room and went outside. She gets off the bed and went to the bathroom to take a bath. While facing the mirror, she couldn't stop thinking what they shared inside. The intimate scene of them before makes her feel cringe.

"No... stop thinking about that, Helen!" She hissed.

Bago pa siya mabaliw kakaisip, minabuti na lamang niyang maligo at nagbihis para makababa na rin. Hindi na rin siya nanibago sa laki ng mansyon ng binata kaya malaya siyang nakakagala.

Hindi pa rin niya nako-kontak ang kanilang boss kaya naisip niyang mas maayos na muna iyon sa ngayon. Nang makarating sa kusina, naabutan niya ang topless na Alexander habang nagluluto.

Tila naramdaman niya ang presensya nito kaya agad itong humarap na inirapan lamang ni Helen.

"You know how to put your clothes on right?" Helen sardonically blurted out. "It's a shame that you don't know how to wear it, Mr. Adamos."

Alexander laughed a little. "I'm all yours, love. No one can see me here except you," he respond.

Helen was stressed from the confidence that he got.

"Oh, we will go somewhere after breakfast," Alexander informed. "But before that, we'll see a doctor first."

Muli na namang kumunot ang noo ni Helen mula sa narinig sa binata.

"What doctor are you saying?"

"Of course, we will see an Obstetrician..." sambit ni Alexander at inilapag ang pancake sa hapag. "I want to see our baby, is that okay with you, Helen?"

Helen nodded her head. "Alright. Fine."

Sa umagang iyon, sabay silang kumain ng tahimik hanggang matapos si Alexander at tinitigan lamang ang dalaga na paunti-unting kinakain ang pagkain niya.

Alexander couldn't hide his smile since the woman right in front of him is such a beauty. Bawat sulok ng mukha nito ay tila kaniyang kinakabisado. Napansin naman siya ng dalaga kaya agad siyang nag-iwas ng tingin. Pagdating talaga kay Helen, tiklop na tiklop siya.

"You're indenieably beautiful," he mumbled softly.

Helen felt her cheek reddened. She couldn't hide her face anymore to him instead, she just eat her food not minding the man staring at her. Naiiling na lamang siya dahil ramdam niya na hindi inaalis ng binata ang tingin sa kaniya. Para siyang natutunaw sa bawat titig nito. Tila nalulunod at hindi na makakaahon pa.

"Quit staring, Alexander..." she muttered, annoyingly. "That's rude..."

Alexander shook her head. "I love watching you now," he said. "I can't stop staring. I feel like... I am drowning at you... falling for you even more..." he mumbled.

Hindi na lamang nagsalita si Helen at hinayaan ang titigan siya ng binata at alam naman niyang hindi rin naman papapigil ang binata kapag nakipagtalo pa siya.

She wasn't annoyed yet she's not fond of it. She likes him staring because that's the time when she felt so beautiful. Maganda naman talaga si Helen pero mas lalo siyang gumaganda kapag pakiramdam niya ay malagkit ang tingin at titig sa kaniya ng binata.

"I'm finished."

Helen stood up. Binitbit niya ang kaniyang pinagkainan ngunit mabilis na hinarangan ni Alexander ang daraanan niya.

"Wait up! Give that to me..." he insisted.

Nagtataka man si Helen ay hinayaan na lang niya ito.

"From now on, I will take care of you..." Alexander blurted out. "So please, love... Don't hesitate to tell me your whims..." he sounded so sweet.

Lihim na napangiti si Helen sa hinaing ng binata. Gustong gusto niya ang bawat acts of service at assurance nito. Talaga naman na hindi siya pinapabayaan ng binata mula nang malaman niyang buntis ito.

Maging sa pagpunta sa ospital, wala siyang kawala. Kada isang linggo ay sinasamahan niya na magpatingin sa Obstetrician at ito pa ang laging nag-i-initiate na pumunta. Natutuwa naman si Helen na ganoon ang turing ng binata lalo na sa kalagayan niya.

"Mr. and Mrs. Adamos, your baby is safe and strong," imporma agad ng doctor. "I advice to you that you should take a proper exercise and do not be rough when doing that again, alright?" Paalala ng doctor at alam nila kung ano ang tinutumbok nito.

Napatawa na lang si Alexander sa sinabi ng doctor.

"But we can do that always right? But we need to be careful?" he asked with a grin smile on his lips.

"Of course, Sir... You can still do that." The doctor chortled a bit.

Meanwhile, Helen was blushing and couldn't even complain since Alexander was caressing her waist up and down like he wanted to devour her because of the advise of the doctor.

After having such check-up, Helen couldn't stop herself from eyeing the man right beside her.

"What was that? You are not supposed to say that!" inis na singhal niya.

"Well... that's fine, love. I can make love to you but I shouldn't be rough," he chuckled.

Inirapan siya ni Helen pero mariin niyang hinawakan ang siko ng dalaga at hindi binigyan ng espasyo ang isa't-isa. Lalong inilapit ni Alexander ang dalaga sa kaniya at mahigpit itong niyakap para hindi na ito magalit pa.

"I love you so much, love... You and our baby," he mumbled softly. "I'm sorry for teasing you. It's just that... I love seeing you annoyed since you are still beautiful..."

Helen didn't complain about the hug and kiss that they shared in the parking lot of the hospital. Alam niya sa sarili niya kung ano ang ginagawa at pinasok niya. Nagpapasalamat na lamang siya dahil sobrang maintindihin ni Alexander lalo na sa papalit-palit na mood niya.

"I understand you, love... And I always want to understand you, so I could take a good care of you two..." Alexander uttered with so much sincerity. "Both of you are my life now... And I take responsibility. I can't lose you both..."
