As they reached the dorm at 2:30 p.m., Yoongi sighed while Jungkook and Taehyung were oblivious, bouncing with their energy as they got out of the car. Meanwhile, Jimin followed them, looking concerned as he glanced at Yoongi.
Hoseok who tried to lighten the mood since they got out of the shoot, couldn't help but feel something was off.
Their manager's voice then broke through the silence as he told Yoongi, "Yoongi-yah, take care of the members." he said. "And keep an eye on Jin as well. He seemed pretty pale earlier."
Yoongi nodded silently and the manager bid them farewell and drove away.
As soon as they entered the dorm, he wasted no time and quickly made his way upstairs, heading straight for Jin's room. Jungkook and Taehyung exchanged confused glances while Jimin and Hobi shared a worried look.
As he approached Jin's room, he was taken aback when Namjoon unexpectedly came out from inside. Their eyes locked and Yoongi felt something strange in his stomach but he quickly brushed it off.
He asked, "What's wrong?"
Namjoon blinked before replying, "Nothing's wrong. Jin hyung's just feeling a bit unwell, so he's resting now. He asked us not to disturb him."
Yoongi furrowed his brows. "He told you that?"
Namjoon nodded. "Yeah, hyung. He did. He seemed really tired, so I think it's best if we let him rest."
Yoongi was still suspicious but he simply nodded and said, "Alright then. Let's give him some space."
Namjoon pulled him by swinging his arm around his shoulder, guiding him as they stepped downstairs.
As they reached the living room, Jungkook and Taehyung were already engrossed in a game while Jimin and Hoseok were sitting on the couch, chatting quietly.
Yoongi sank into a nearby sofa while Namjoon cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention as he stood in the center of the room. "Listen, guys," he began. "I need to talk to you all about Jin hyung."
Everyone turned to him, their expressions filled with concern and curiosity.
"He's not feeling quite well today," he continued, choosing his words carefully. "So, he said that no one should enter his room without his permission."
Before he could say more, Taehyung interrupted. "But hyung, Jin hyung just needs our cuddles!" he said, his eyes wide with innocence.
Jungkook nodded. "Yeah, he will definitely feel great after that. We'll go see him now," he said, already starting to get up from his seat.
Namjoon quickly stepped forward, stammering slightly. "Wait, wait," he said. "Jin hyung told m-, no.. He ordered me not to let anyone enter his room, so... so we shouldn't go, sorry, boys."
But the two maknaes didn't let him be in peace. "But hyung, Jin hyung never says 'no' to our cuddles," Taehyung insisted as he pouted.
Jimin interfered, "Well, maybe hyung just needs some time alone," he said.
Hoseok nodded along. "He's right, boys. Let's not disturb hyung for a while and give him the space he needs to come out when he's feeling better," he said.
Namjoon breathed a sigh of relief and the two maknaes muttered an okay before they continued playing their game, now Jimin and Hobi playing along with them.
Just as the leader was about to leave, Yoongi grabbed his wrist and dragged him to the kitchen.
Once they were alone, he wasted no time in getting to the point. "What's the real matter, Namjoon?" he asked, his voice low.
Namjoon hesitated, his eyes darting around. "W-What do you mean, hyung?" he stammered.
But Yoongi wasn't fooled as he raised an eyebrow. "Don't play dumb with me," he said. "Both you and hyung are obviously hiding something."
Namjoon glanced around nervously before sighing. "Take out your phone," he said.
Confused, Yoongi did, pulling out his phone and unlocking it. "For what?"
"Call and ask him yourself, hyung," he said.
Yoongi looked at him puzzled but did as he said.
After a few rings, Jin picked up, his voice coming through the line, "Yoongi?"
Yoongi's heart skipped a beat at the sound of Jin's voice. "Hey, hyung," he replied, trying to keep his voice steady.
Jin's voice was a bit hesitant as he thought Yoongi was going to ask about what happened earlier, so he tried not to talk about that subject. "What's up? Are the maknaes troubling you?"
Yoongi sighed, unconsciously pacing around the kitchen as he spoke with Jin. "No, that's not it," he replied.
Namjoon smiled as he looked at him before quietly slipping away, giving him space to talk.
Jin's voice came through the phone again, asking, "What's wrong then?"
Yoongi then finally asked him, "Why are you staying in your room and not allowing anyone in?"
Jin internally sighed with relief as that was what the younger called him for. "Um, uh, I'm not feeling quite well. I have a little fever and I don't want any one of you to get sick because of me. That's why."
Yoongi paused before gently muttering to his himself, "But you let Namjoon in.."
Jin heard that but didn't say anything and then asked, "Can you make me some spicy ramyun?"
Yoongi raised an eyebrow at the request. "Spicy ramyun? When you're running a fever?"
Jin chuckled nervously. "I'm craving for some," he admitted sheepishly. "And I promise hyung will make you something delicious another day, my treat."
Yoongi's lips curled into a smile as Jin referred to himself as hyung. "Alright," he said, "Take care of yourself, hyung."
As they ended the call, he suddenly became quite energetic. He began searching through the kitchen cabinets until he found some pink carbonara buldak packets and smiled.
With the packets in hand, he made his way to the living room where the other members were playing. He held up the packets with a smile, asking, "Anyone up for some ramyun?"
The members' faces immediately lit up and they all nodded eagerly, saying 'Thank you, hyung' in unison. Yoongi smiled at them before going back to the kitchen to prepare the noodles.
Jimin couldn't help but comment, "He was looking worried earlier.."
Hobi added, "But now he seems so bright and energetic."
The other two maknaes shrugged in response while Namjoon smiled knowingly.
Yoongi then took some carrots, cabbage, and capsicums from the fridge, quickly washing them before chopping them into thin, long slices. He turned on the stove and placed a large cooking pot on it, adding some oil before putting the sliced vegetables inside and sauting them until they were tender and fragrant.
Once the vegetables were cooked to perfection, he poured enough water and waited till it was heated.
As the water reached a rolling boil, he grabbed seven packs of the noodles, tearing them open and then poured in the carbonara cheese powder, followed by the fiery buldak sauce.
Carefully, he added the noodles to the pot, watching as they submerged into the bubbling liquid. He stirred them occasionally, ensuring they cooked evenly and absorbed all the broth.
After a few minutes, the noodles were perfectly cooked, the creamy sauce clinging to each strand. With a satisfied smile, he turned off the stove.
(The pic is mine lol. I made it. It's the exact carbonara buldak with the same ingredients given in the story. Imagine this in a cooking pot!)
Hobi entered the kitchen with a bright smile, scanning everything. "You need any help, hyung?"
Yoongi glanced up. "Actually, could you help me by putting the noodles in seven bowls evenly?" He gestured towards the bowls nearby.
Hobi nodded and grabbed them and carefully portioned out the noodles into each one.
"Thanks, hoba," Yoongi said with a small smile. "Now, take six of them in a plate and share them with the boys. I will come and have mine after I give one to hyung."
Hobi nodded again, taking the bowls in a large plate and heading out to the living room.
Meanwhile, Yoongi held onto the remaining bowl and then dialed Jin's number as he waited for a response.
Jin answered the call, his voice warm. "Yoongi-yah, what's up?"
"The ramyun is ready," the younger said softly, "I'll come and bring it to your ro-"
"No, no!" Jin suddenly interrupted him. "Um, actually, could you give it to Namjoon and tell him to bring it to my room? I need to talk to him, that's why."
Yoongi's heart sank at the rejection and for a moment, he couldn't find his voice.
Finally, he managed to nod to himself and replied quietly, "Okay, I'll do that."
Jin exhaled to himself, feeling a bit guilty as he knew his words somehow hurted Yoongi. But before he could say anything, the younger cut the call.
Yoongi stood alone in the kitchen, his grip on his phone tightening. He sighed deeply as he rubbed his temples.
"Again, it's only Namjoon," he muttered to himself.
He then went into the living room where Namjoon sat with the others.
"Hey, Namjoon," he began, catching his attention. "Jin hyung asked you to come to his room with his ramyun and said he wants to talk to you."
"Oh," Namjoon let out, giving a casual nod. "Sure thing, hyung. I'll take it to him," he said, heading to the kitchen and then up stairs with the bowl.
"Don't drop it, hyung!" Jungkook called out, earning a laugh from the others.
Yoongi watched Namjoon go up the stairs and sighed as he joined the others, eating up.
Hobi and Jimin exchanged glances as they noticed the elder rapper's sudden shift in expression.
Hobi whispered to Jimin quietly, "Now, he went to somber mode."
Jimin furrowed his brows. "Yeah," he admitted softly. "I can't quite read him."

Namjoon entered Jin's room and saw that he was curled up on his bed, wrapped in blankets and sighing softly. He flicked on the lights and went towards Jin, holding out the bowl of ramen.
"Your ramyun is here, hyung," he said softly.
Jin murmured a quiet "thanks" before requesting Namjoon to leave it on the table and not to come near him.
Namjoon did as he was told and turned back to him. "What did you want to talk about, hyung?"
Jin sighed heavily as he began, "Jackson called me a while ago."
Namjoon's eyes widened. "What did he tell you?"
"He said he's gone back to his own country," Jin explained with disappointment. "He's working as a judge in a Chinese idol survival show. So, he won't be able to come back for a few months, even if he wants to."
"Oh no," Joon murmured. "What are you going to do now?"
Jin let out another sigh. "I don't know," he said with frustration. "We need to do something or have someone else do it with me before I go insane and can't control it any longer."
"I wish I knew what to do," Namjoon said sadly, feeling helpless.
"Namjoon-ah, you should go," Jin said quietly, motioning towards the door, his hand - the only thing sticking out the blanket. "I'll figure something out somehow."
Namjoon hesitated, wanting to stay and help but he knew that he can't do anything.
"Make sure to take care of the boys and don't let anyone near my room, especially Yoongi. I don't know why but after the shoot with him, my temptations have increased way more than before. So, I need to be careful around him."
"Alright, hyung. Don't worry. I will take care."
With a nod and thanks from Jin, Namjoon closed the door and walked away.
Jin sighed heavily, finally coming out of the blankets. Taking the bowl of ramen in his hands, he looked at it for a moment and smiled. He started to eat in silence, thinking of what to do next.
The deadline thing started like 5 years ago and it was like a legacy passed down through generations of his family. Jackson had always been the one to help him. But now, with him unavailable, Jin didn't know who to ask for help.

Till night, Jin locked himself up in his room. The rest of the members went to the dining room for dinner, looking worried, even the usually energetic maknaes were concerned.
Jungkook finally asked Namjoon, "Hyung, is Jin hyung still sick? Why hasn't he come out all day?"
Taehyung, nodded, "Yeah, it's not like him to stay locked in like this."
Namjoon, not knowing what to say, stammered, "He... he just needs some rest. He'll be fine. Don't worry too much."
Hoseok frowned. "Are you sure, Joon?"
Namjoon nodded. "Yes, I’m sure. He just needs time to recover."
Jimin then asked, "If there's something more going on, you would tell us, right, hyung?"
Namjoon forced a smile. "Of course, Jimin. I'll keep you all updated. Let's just give him some space for now."
The members eventually nodded but Yoongi exhaled softly, looking quite worried as he served the members their food. He tried to eat along with them but his mind kept going back to his hyung. Finally, he set down his spoon and stood up, heading to the kitchen.
They watched him with curiosity as he began to scoop some rice into a small bowl, added curry into another bowl and placed them both on a plate with a spoon.
Jimin asked, "Hyung, what are you doing?"
Yoongi replied without looking up, "Going take this to hyung. He needs to eat."
Namjoon stood up quickly. "Hyung, but Jin hyung said he didn't want anyone coming to hi-"
Without warning, Yoongi slammed the spoon down on the counter, the loud thud silencing everyone. The room fell into a shocked silence, all eyes wide as they looked at Yoongi, including Namjoon who looked with wide innocent eyes.
"I'm going to Jin hyung's room," Yoongi said, looking at Namjoon. "and no one is stopping me."
Namjoon opened his mouth to protest but Yoongi glared at him and he instantly shut it.
The elder picked up the plate and headed towards Jin's room. The members looked at eachother with worried eyes.
Jimin said, "I've never seen him like this."
Hoseok nodded, "Neither have we."
Yoongi knocked on the door which was locked from the inside. Jin's voice came from within. "Who is it?"
Yoongi hesitated for a moment before replying, "Hyung, it's me."
Jin sighed. "What do you want, Yoongi? I'm still sick. You can't come in."
"I brought you food," Yoongi said. "You need to eat."
"I don't want to eat," Jin shot back. "Just go and sleep."
Yoongi's patience wore thin. "If you don't eat, then I won't either. I'll stay on an empty stomach until tomorrow."
There was a loud sigh from behind the door and then Jin shouted, "Namjoon! Where are yo-"
"Shall I break the door down and come in myself?"
There was a moment of silence before Yoongi heard some movements. The door unlocked, revealing Jin looking pale and irritated.
They stared at eachother for a moment before Yoongi went inside.
"Wait, wait!" Jin said as the younger went past him and set the plate on the bedside table. "Now, eat." He said, looking like he was even ready to threaten him.
Jin sighed again in frustration, "Namjoon could have brought it! Why are you doing thi-"
"Namjoon! Namjoon! Namjoon!" Yoongi's anger snapped. "Why is it always him!? Why are you ignoring me!? Why do you only ask for Namjoon!?"
There was heavy silence in the room as Jin stared at him with wide eyes but before he could say anything, Yoongi continued, his voice rising. "Why is Namjoon the only one you rely on!? What about me!?" He asked.
"Yoo-"
"This morning, you said you needed some time alone in the car and told me not to come along, but you went with Namjoon!"
"Please listen to m-"
"And even in the photoshoot, you thought I didn't see you avoid looking at me!?"
"It's not like th-"
"When I made you ramyun, you asked for Namjoon to get it for you, completely ignoring me! You don't want to see my face!? Even now, you called for Namjo-"
"Yoongi!"
Jin shouted, trying to cut through as he still stood at the doorway, leaving enough distance between them. He then leaned back against the door, crossing his arms and replying with furrowed brows, "I knew it was wrong of me to ignore you like that. But,
..are you seriously being jealous of Namjoon right now?"
The question hung in the air and Yoongi's face turned crimson. "I-.." He stammered, trying to find words to deny it but failing.
"..You are, right? What a cute little sight." Jin said, smirking at Yoongi.
