Truth or dare

"You what?!"
Greed jumped away at my sudden shout and if I wasn't so shocked, I would have guffawed at his comical move. He nearly tripped over his foot and destroyed his disco outfit.
"Is it that surprising?" Jungkook chuckled unsurely through the line and I couldn't help but shout again. The outrage.
"You think it's not?! Boy, you never go to parties! You suddenly wanting to go to one on your own free will is obviously beyond surprising! Is the world ending?!"
"Isn't that good for you?" Greed mumbled, protruding his lower lip in thought. "You've been trying to get him to a party since... I don't know, forever?"
"Oh come on, don't exaggerate it. It's not like I never went to a party before..."
Furrowing my eyebrows, I mulled over Jungkook's words. "What's the reason though?"
"You sound like his mom, stop it," Greed said, earning a glare from me.
"No reason."
I cocked an eyebrow. "Really?"
"Yes! Now please stop acting like I'm some party pooper," Jungkook whined through the line, tugging the corners of my lips into a smile.
"Okay, fine. I was going to the party, so..."
"Yeah, I know."
I paused for a second. "Okay... I'll come back to pick you up and go there with you. Be ready."
When I hung up and turned to Greed to say something, he had a smug look with a ridiculous smirk on and his narrow eyes glimmered.
"What?"
"So what are you planning to do at the party with him? Should I help?"
"No, go back." I gently pushed him by his back. If he was to go with me, he would do something spontaneous like he did when we ran into Jungkook and Jia. I didn't want this time to be ruined by his... disturbance. "I don't know what I'll do but I'm fine on my own."
His pillowy cherry lips pushed up into a pout. "Boring."

The party was the same old gathering of university students who were tired of pages and pages of study materials. A night filled with crazy thoughts and activities. One hand holding a cup of booze and another hand raised up high to the feeling of the music blasting in the house.
Same old gathering where girls and boys danced, rubbing against each other, and played dirty games with fake embarrassment and hidden carnal desires. And yet, Jungkook's eyes were wider than ever as we made our way through groups of tipsy people to reach the food table where some were hogging the jello shots.
I suppressed a laugh while handing the shaken boy a jello shot I managed to steal. "Are you okay?"
He blinked, turning to me, and flashed a beguiling smile. "Peachy."
I nodded, sipping from my cup of booze and watched the crowd as thoughts on how I could achieve my goal started running wild. Drunk people were easy to take care of and I could get him drunk but I wasn't sure about his alcohol tolerance. And I also wasn't sure if that was moral.
I could act drunk myself but I didn't know how he would act. He might hate dealing with drunkards for all I know.
"So," Jungkook said, interrupting my thoughts. "What do we do now?"
Baffled and dumbfounded, I stared at him with sheer confusion. "I don't know. Why did you come here in the first place?"
His eyes peered into mine. "I don't know. Why do you come to parties like this?"
"What?" I frowned. "To catch my prey- I mean, to catch some gu- I mean! To catch some air... and a break... yeah... Does that mean you came here for no reason?"
When he opened his mouth to answer, a loud call of his name interrupted him and we whipped our heads to his friend surrounded by three girls on the couch. Bambam was wearing a deep cut shirt and a blazer paired with tight jeans while the girls donned tight cocktail dresses of bright colors cut in various places. With a white crop top and a leather skirt, I felt overdressed compared to them.
"Eunsook, too! Come here, guys!" He grinned, waving at us and he clearly looked intoxicated.
Jungkook turned to me and I just nodded. He was his friend and he wasn't so harmless, but I had my guard up if he tried anything stupid.
"Hey," I greeted them as we settled ourselves on the opposite couch. I clenched my skirt when the girls started eyeing Jungkook up and down with a look I was too acquainted with. It made me want to leave with him immediately.
"We were just talking about how we could make this boring party more fun," Bambam said way too enthusiastically. "A game of truth or dare is a must at parties like this but we were short on people. I was going to call some friends. Are you in?"
Truth or dare? That could be another option I could go for instead of acting drunk.
"Sure," I blurted way too quickly and turned to Jungkook with pursed lips. "Is it okay with you?"
He shrugged to my surprise. "If you're playing then sure."
Bambam was shocked but happy nonetheless and called two of his male friends to make the gender ratio equal. I never met them before but they seemed to be decent people so I didn't fret.
We sat around in a circle on the floor, Jungkook on my left and one of the girls on my right. Bambam placed a soda bottle in the middle and spun it, starting the game. It landed on Jungkook and my heart skipped a beat while the girls giggled.
Bambam smirked at his friend. "Truth or dare?"
Jungkook groaned. "Your dares will kill me. Truth."
"Aha! Tell us about the last time someone walked in on you while you were naked!" Bambam smiled so triumphantly as if he won a Nobel prize as Jungkook froze with wide eyes.
I sucked in a breath when memories hit me like a train. There was a high possibility, no... There was no doubt that it was me who walked in on him.
Jungkook cleared his throat and stole a quick glance at me, making my heart jump. "I was showering and the door was somehow not closed. Someone accidentally walked in and saw me."
"Who was it?" A girl asked and Jungkook crossed his hands.
"I'm not required to say the name, am I?" His response was sharp and cold, the girl looked away. "I'll go."
He spun the bottle and it landed on one of Bambam's friends, and then it landed on one of the girls. She spun the bottle after shoving her arm down the trash can and nearly throwing up. It pointed to another guy.
"Who's the sexiest here?" She batted her eyelashes at the man who scanned the group until his eyes landed on me and traveled south.
"This purple haired beauty."
I wanted to vomit.
He spun the bottle and it landed on Jungkook, making my heart skip once again but it was paired with cold sweat down my back.
"Truth or dare, flower boy?"
Jungkook frowned slightly and paused for a moment before uttering, "Dare."
I feared that it wouldn't end well and I was psychic.
"Kiss someone from here." The man smirked.
Shit.
Jungkook's eyes jumped from one person to another and my mind was in turmoil. I wondered if he would choose me but it seemed unlikely from the way he perceived me. The other girls were undeniably attractive and I couldn't stop him from going for them. Would this game change anything? Not really but I didn't want him to choose anyone else.
"Okay, not someone. Kiss the girl on your opposite," the freaking plan-ruining idiot said and everyone's eyes fell on the short haired girl on his right.
Jungkook gulped, his adam's apple bobbing up and down, and he took a deep breath before his head turned my way. His eyes flashed thousands of colorful emotions. I wanted to shake my head and snatch his hand, damning the game to hell.
Looking to the front, he started approaching the girl. I clenched my jaw watching him move nearer and nearer to the smiling girl as I felt my insides burning. A spiky lump clawed at my walls when he held her cheek and I looked away, unable to continue.
"Okay, I'm changing my mind again," that infuriating guy spoke again and I nearly lunged at him. "Just kiss anyone you want. Be it a dude or whatever."
"Ugh, Jackson, I swear!" The other friend groaned but my shoulders relaxed at once when Jungkook moved away from the sulking girl and scanned the group once again.
His eyes fell on me once again and I held my breath. That was the only thing I could do under his heavy gaze.
'He wouldn't choose me,' I repeated to myself. 'He wouldn't choose me.'
With his eyes still fixed on me, he moved closer and with each movement, my heartbeat accelerated. The look in his eyes was something I couldn't decipher and something I didn't want to decipher.
When he placed his hands on either side of me and leaned closer, framing my body, I forgot how to breathe. His nose brushed against mine and his eyes bore deep into mine that I lost myself in them. Captivated. There was only him in the room, in my eyes and in my mind.
Electricity jolted through me with each slight touch and each feathery trace of his fingers over my skin.
"He didn't say where you should kiss," I whispered as he held my face, making him blink twice. "Do it on the cheek."
Jungkook looked conflicted but when I urged him to do so, his soft lips pressed against my cheek and I closed my eyes, reveling in his gentle touch. As he moved away, the others groaned and complained, calling us wusses. My heart turned calm when he sat back at his place on my left and my lungs finally filled with air.
But I regretted saying that. There was no reason for me to do that but why did I do that?
"Eunsook, truth or dare?"
I snapped my head up and found that infuriating guy grinning at me. That grin reminded me of someone so much that I unconsciously frowned deeply.
"Earth to Eunsook? I spun the bottle and it's your turn now."
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. Truth."
His eyes turned a shade darker and it sent shivers up my spine.
"Tell us about your first everything in the love department."
Memories flashed by and dread took a firm hold on my heart. I immediately shook my head. "I'll go with dare."
The man snickered, irking me. "Then...
...choose someone and make your way from their wrist to their ear using your lips."

I, for one, hate truth or dares. They always end up being awkward and people always ask personal questions and dirty dares 😤
