I survived my first ever lecture after even being called out for chatting in the classroom. With a heavy yawn, I stretched my arms, cracking my back, and rubbed my nape with a groan. Who knew university was this boring and tiring?

Chuckling softly, Jungkook slung his backpack over his shoulder with his gaze fixed on me. "Since we have the same class, shall we go together?"

My eyes perked up as I turned to him, and I happily nodded. We stood up before walking out of the hall, and hastened towards the next class.

Youngsters were filling the hallways, going back and forth, right and left, some running, some dragging their feet. Most guys loitering around were blatantly checking me out, scanning me from head to toe, some whispering with their friends with disgusting smirks on their faces. It wasn't new but it wasn't pleasant either, being eyed up and down and mentally stripped by such hungry eyes.

I tried to ignore those gazes and let my mind run with millions of thoughts on how I should go with my objective, the reason I ever so willingly came to this uncomfortable place. My actions had to be perfect for someone like the boy beside me to fully commit a sin.

My life was on the line after all.

"So you never noticed me before?" I asked him, breaking the growing silence between us.

His eyebrows rose as he looked at me with wide eyes. "Oh, uh... Yeah... But it's not your fault. I don't really pay much attention to my surroundings, actually, so... yeah... it's not on you..."

Clearing my throat, I nodded. "It's just..." I looked up to the front with a sigh. "I've been looking at you for a whole year, but you never once noticed me... It feels... sad."

"Huh?" He squeaked as he stopped in his tracks and I could feel his wide eyes staring at the back of my head.

"Yeah... But it's okay... I'm learning to get rid of my feelings," I drawled sorrowfully while still walking through the crowds.

With rapid heavy thuds, Jungkook caught up to me and walked by my side, biting his bottom lip when I glanced at him.

"I'm uh, sorry... for not noticing you," he mumbled with his head down.

I snickered internally at how seriously he was taking my small confession. He was actually very adorable, a stark contrast to all the men I had met in the past.

I realized that we arrived at our class when he walked straight into a nearby classroom. Dropping my cheerful expression, I followed him inside and this time, I didn't get flustered when dozens of students stared at me. Maybe it was because someone was walking with me, or maybe it was because the room was smaller with fewer students than the previous class.

Either way, I followed Jungkook confidently to one of the empty tables and sat down beside him before fumbling with my bag to take out a notebook and something to write with.

Many minutes passed and the chatters started growing as the teacher was nowhere to be seen. I wanted to talk to Jungkook but I somehow made it a bit awkward between us by my last confession so it was quite difficult. This was my second and last class with him so I had to make a move. Any move.

Fidgeting, I bit my lips as I turned to him as he played with the hair above his ears.

"So what do you do in your free time?" Wow, that was lame...

He turned to me with those wide eyes again. Just how big could those eyes get? "Well, I play games, draw some more, surf the internet and stuff."

Wow, a couch potato... Then how do you explain that bod? "Don't you go out with your friends?"

"We usually stay indoors when we meet up," he chuckled. "I'm not much of a party person."

"A homely person, then?" He shrugged before nodding. "What's your sign?"

"Virgo. You?"

I blinked a bit before remembering. "Cancer."

His mouth formed an 'o' shape in understanding. "Then you're more of a homely person than me. But you didn't seem like a Cancer though, more of a Scorpio or Sagittarius."

Why, I wonder...

"I guess we're on the same page about comfort and snuggles in our own beds," I chimed, earning giggles from him. "Then what about relationships and fidelity?"

His eyebrows rose. "What about them?"

My gaze turned solemn as it was fixed on him. "Are relationships really all that? Can a man be content with only one woman his whole life? Or will he seek what he wants from other women? Even if he doesn't seek them, will the thought be there?"

Pondering for a while, he let out a sigh. "It depends on the person, I think? Some people could be loyal and some people would cheat and stuff. Nevertheless, loyalty is important."

Some people could be loyal, huh? A little temptation can shatter that loyalty easily. Fidelity is so fragile, it shatters easier than glass after all.

"I see. Then you-"

"Kookie!"

A sweet, singsong voice shouted and a pink haired, cheerful looking girl ran inside and towards the man beside me with a huge grin before hugging him all of a sudden. Everyone turned to them with knowing, amused expressions.

"Baby, if your teacher's not here, let's just go on our date, please? The earlier, the better, right?"

She suddenly placed a kiss on his cheek, earning giggles from him. "Jia, you know Mr. Bae, he records attendance even when he arrives at the last minute."

"Ugh, you're such a try-hard to compensate for your skills. Just let it go one time! The world won't end if you lose just one attendance score," she whined, pulling his hands while Jungkook smiled sheepishly at her, not budging. "Your grades or me, Kookie?"

Slamming a hand on the table, I stood up, shooting a cold glare at the perky pink girl, unable to hear any more. "Hey! Can't you see he doesn't want to go? Why are you pushing him? If you're his girlfriend, can't you respect his wishes and leave? It's not like he won't go with you after school!"

"Excuse me?" She turned to me with a condescending frown while the others, along with Jungkook looked at me surprised. "Who the hell are you anyway?"

"A student here who wants certain someone out the door since she's clearly in the wrong classroom, disrupting the others."

Murmurs started as soon as I said that and the girl's expression turned angrier, but a hint of redness was apparent on her cheeks.

"Listen you-"

"Take your seats everyone! Shut up this instant!" A man in gray suit walked inside, interrupting her, and sat down at the teacher's desk. "Whoever's not supposed to be here, kindly get out of my sight."

All the students looked at the pink elephant in the room, some snickering to themselves, and she wordlessly scurried out the door. I wasn't sure but her face was as red as a tomato when she passed me.

But more importantly, what was Gluttony doing there with his legs crossed over the teacher's table?!

"You may be wondering..." He gestured at himself as he scanned the students. "How can a man be this handsome?"

"No, we're wondering who you are," I exclaimed, rolling my eyes. Typical Gluttony, can't get enough of himself. "What happened to Mr. Bae?"

"He's gone on a long long trip overseas and won't be coming back. But enough about him, let's talk about me." He stood up and wrote a giant 'Mr. Kim' on the board. "The most handsome teacher in this world, Kim Seokjin is here as your new Art History teacher. Now clap."

Everyone clapped slowly, glancing at each other with confused expressions while Gluttony was satisfied with the claps. Weird. Since when did he teach?

"Now I'll be giving out your assignment that will take up most of your grade and class is dismissed." He chuckled when a few people cheered. "Alright, it will be on art pieces hung at museums and how you interpret them according to your understanding. Each partners will have to visit all the museums in the country and give me evidence that they did."

Wow, who has time for that?

"You can visit them during this class hours and I honestly won't give a damn. We even have excursion to one of the museums during class hours and if you have class after this, you better run then." He started giving out materials and winked at me as he passed my table. "And your partner is the one sitting next to you, no changes allowed!"

Obvious Gluttony is obvious.

Well I shouldn't be complaining when he's just helping me.

"I'm out." He walked straight out the door with a peace sign, leaving us dumbfounded.

"Well. That's one unique teacher," Jungkook chuckled beside me, pushing the research paper closer to me. "He's better than Mr. Bae at least."

I didn't know the previous teacher so I couldn't slip in a comment. Gluttony was... eccentric. Being a prince in his past life, he was all about mannerisms, rules and principles. After becoming a sin however, he was able to be free and uncaring, something I thought he really needed.

Still, he was too free.

"He told us we can visit the museums during this time so shall we do that? I don't have classes after this so," he said, smiling softly at me.

"I think we should visit museums during non-class hours... He might be saying that but he could teach us something, who knows?" I needed more time with him than just class hours.

He nodded, deep in thought. "Okay."

It wasn't bad for a first day meeting him, but it wasn't great either. Especially when his girlfriend came in. I should really step up my game.

"See ya." Gathering my belongings, I stood up and walked to the door with the other students until my wrist was pulled back, stopping me. Expecting a smirking guy, I turned to find Jungkook holding me.

"Um... Thank you... for standing up for me." He scratched his ear, looking away. "Wait, that sounds weird... It's not like I was being bullied by my own girlfriend..."

I snorted before giggling. "Why are you so cute?"

"Huh?" His doe eyes stared at me.

"Not just your face, the way you are, it's just so cute." Smiling softly, I gently patted his plump cheek. "No need to thank me. I just don't like it when people try to control others like that."

He shook his head. "Jia isn't controlling. I wasn't attentive, that's all."

I narrowed my eyes. "Sure."

Waving him goodbye, I walked out of the classroom and bumped into someone when I turned around a corner. The man eyed me up and down and so did I. He seemed single, not a target for me.

"Sorry," I mumbled and walked past him but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back.

He suddenly grabbed my hair and pushed me closer to himself, licking his lips. "Wait, where are you going, baby? Never seen you around before. Wanna play?"

My legs trembled, fear paralyzing my whole body because of his grip on my hair. Tightly pulling my locks, scalp burning from the grip. It was so so painful to breathe. My eyes were blurry.

His grip suddenly disappeared and I dropped to the ground, clutching my constricting chest to draw in a breath, wheezing for air.

Screams filled my ringing ears and my eyes cleared to see the man pulling his own hair as he cried in anguish.

"Eunsook." Someone wrapped his arms around me tightly and I turned to see Greed eyeing me worriedly. His embrace calmed me down and a tear rolled down my cheek. "It's alright now. You're okay."

He helped me up and took the screaming man to hell with us, dropping him before whispering, "I'll hide this from Lucy. Do whatever you want with him."

Fixing my hair, I looked down at the spasming man in contempt, fingers twitching from the need to spill his blood and rip him to shreds bit by bit while hearing him beg for quick death.

"How can I say no?"
