I haven't stopped thinking about Louis. It's been a week since the whole Will thing was resolved and I haven't seen him in person for a while. We text occasionally but it's nothing special. He's been taking over my thoughts so much that I almost forgot it was the last day of school. I ended up handing in a mediocre screenplay and finishing all my other projects. My average ended up being a 86 which isn't bad for someone who forgot to do their culminating projects until the night before.

It's the early morning and I just woke up, the first thing I thought about was Louis. I texted the group chat saying that we should hangout after school, no one responded. Weird. I get ready for school, putting a lot more effort into my outfit than usual. I had a bit more time this morning since school doesn't start at the usual time. After eating breakfast and brushing my teeth I decide to walk to school. It's a beautiful day and I'm not going to be late so there's no reason not to. After saying goodbye to my sister, I walk down my front steps and put my airpods in. I shuffle my playlist and get lost in the music within seconds.

Ten minutes later I arrive at my school without even realizing. As I push through the double doors, I expect to see Allie or Elaine at the front like they usually are. No dice. I shrug it off, maybe they have other stuff this morning and forgot to tell me. I text Hunter asking him where he is and still no response.

As I walk through the halls I see a bunch of girls looking at me. They whisper to their friends or take photos of me. I'm just about to tell them off when someone taps my shoulder. I'm expecting either Elaine or Allie, maybe even Hunter, but I turn around and I see Millie Bobby Brown.

"Millie!" I say throwing my arms around her.

"Hi babes!" She says hugging me back.

"What are you doing here?" I ask with a wide smile across my face. I am noticeably taller than her and so she looks slightly up to meet my eyes.

"I wanted to come visit you for a while and I heard today was your last day of school, so I hopped on the opportunity to come see you." She explains. I love her already.

"Is Louis here?" I ask, genuinely curious.

"He couldn't make it unfortunately. He has an audition today." She says sadly, opening her arms for another hug.

"Oh, I see." I say, unintentionally sounding disappointed. I hug her back tightly. "I don't know where any of my friends are right now, or I would introduce you." I say looking around.

"That's alright love. I'm just happy to see you!" Millie and I talk for a few more minutes before the bell rings sounding the beginning of first period. "I'm guessing you have to go now?" She suggests.

"Yeah, unfortunately. I wish we could talk longer!" I say reaching out for one last hug.

"How about after school? I could come by again and see you?" She offers.

"Yes! That would be amazing. My school ends at 2pm today!" I tell her, "I gotta go now, but it was lovely meeting you and I'll see you after school!" I say after breaking our hug.

"Bye Yasmine!" She says as a bunch of people swarm her for autographs and photos. I walk away knowing that I had just met one of the nicest people ever.

There's fifteen minutes left in class before the very end of the day. I worked on my film during lunch since my friends were MIA and Millie said she couldn't meet me until after. As I stare at the slowly moving clock it becomes more and more apparent to me that it's the last day of junior year. I have one more year of high school left until I have to move out and start my own life. That's a scary thought and lucky for me it's cut short by the buzz of my phone. I look down and see a text from Louis.

After turning off my phone and realizing there's only two minutes left of class I decided to pack up my stuff early. I text the group chat once more before the bell rings and I throw my backpack on and walk out of the classroom slowly. I'm looking down most of the time to try and avoid contact with anyone because at this point I just wanna go hone.

As I'm walking I lose myself in the moment and slam right into someone.

"I am so sorry!" I say slowly looking up and meeting the eyes of the person I just walked into. My breath cuts short and my eyes grow wide.

"Hi Yasmine." He's so much more beautiful than I remember him to be. His hair is just as perfect as before, his eyes still light and full of love, perfect smile almost bigger than I remember it to be.

"Aiden." I say out loud. He walks towards me to give me a hug and I'm too shocked to walk away or to do anything in that matter. So I embrace him with open arms, which is the last thing I thought I would do today. My eyes close as I feel his familiar arms wrap around me.

"Yasmine?" I open my eyes and realize Louis is standing right there, a bouquet of flowers in his right hand. His face falls when he sees me with Aiden.

"Louis? What are you doing here?" I say pulling away from Aiden.

"I came to see you, but I guess I wasn't the only one."

I turn to Aiden and give him a half smile. "I gotta go." I tell him.

He smiles back and says, "I understand. It was good to see you again."

"You too!" I say as I look back at Louis. He begins to walk away and I run up behind him.

"Louis this isn't what it looks like. He's just a friend."

"An ex. He's your toxic ex boyfriend that you were telling me about that one time. That's the Aiden. That's him standing right there." Louis gestures to where Aiden is standing. He's occupied by talking with some girls who recognized him.

"Yeah, but that didn't mean anything." I try and explain, "He showed up out of nowhere and hugged me. I was too shocked to do anything to stop it so I just feel for his little act."

"It's okay if you like him, Yasmine. I won't be the one to tell you who you can and can't date. I just want you to be happy." He gives me a little half smile.

"I'm happy," I try to say it. I try so hard and finally I feel myself gain the courage to tell him, "I'm happiest with you!" I yell, a little too loud may I add.

Louis smiles and walks over to me, handing me the bouquet. "You know Yas, you still owe me a date." He laughs a little and hugs me. I smile and look up at him, still in his arms.

"Now that, I'm okay with."  I laugh. "And I'll try not to bail on you this time."

"Yeah, please don't. My heart can't take the pain!" He jokes as he holds his hands on his heart and fakes a short but dramatic death.

"Alright drama queen, that's enough." I laugh. "Let's get out of this school, I've had enough of it for this year.

"Thank god, I thought you'd never want to leave." He smiles down at me and I feel the butterflies take flight in my stomach. I blush and he obviously notices because his smile get even wider.

As we walk out the double doors to the school I see Millie, Elaine, Allie and Hunter all standing in a circle. Allie and Hunter are arguing about something while Millie and Elaine gush over some celebrity gossip.

"I knew it." I say, directing everyone's attention to me. "You guys played me!" I say hitting Hunter on the arm.

"Hey! It was Louis' and Millie's idea!" He rubs his "hurt" arm.

"I wanted to surprise you and I couldn't have done it without them." Louis says, thanking my friends individually. God he's so nice to everyone he meets, even if that someone is Hunter.

"We're sorry we ignored you but Louis seemed super serious about this plan and we didn't want to ruin it." Elaine says while opening her arms for a hug. Angel baby, I think to myself.

"Alright this was all super fun and nice and cute but I'm starving can we please go to the diner?" Allie says out loud.

"Of course, Al. Let's go now and then we can do something after." Elaine says.

"Sounds good! Louis and I have the whole afternoon off and free of interviews and auditions!" Millie happily exclaims.

"Let the fun begin." Louis says, wrapping his arm around me and holding me tight.
