~ Prologue ~

*Chaos Realm*

Millions of years after her creation, the Lady of Chaos sat in her throne room. Wearing her signature outfit, as her throne was located at the top of the room. She was surrounded by stained glass depicting the birth of the Lady of Chaos, and her arrival into her domain. They shifted and moved, as if the glass was alive. She crossed one leg over the other, feeling proud and mighty as she cast her eyes out to her throne room.

"Bring them," Lady Chaos' voice was a mere whisper due to how large the room was, but her words carried through the room. The large double doors at the far end of the throne room opened. Four men were pushed into the room, they were chained by the hands and legs, and all connected as one. All wore rags, and were dirty.

The Lady of Chaos rose from her throne with grace, and poise, watching as the accused walked through her throne room. Up the red valet of the carpet, taking in awe of the place they were in. Soon enough, the four men arrived at the last part of the indent within the floor, and stood still as they could not walk further. However, their heads raised up to look up upon the goddess that stood in front of her stone throne. She just smiles as they watch her in awe, she gracefully walks down the four steps, coming to the top of the staircase.

"Mortal men, from the mortal realm," she smiled through her words. "You are here to be judged by me. The Queen," she began to descend down the steps, taking one at a time.

"You are not our Monarch!" One of the men spat, his British accent laced the room. But it made her stop in her step, and stare at the man, intently. "You are a monster. A kidnapper of men, and I will not stand-"

The Lady of Chaos was not amused by his outburst, and with a single wave of her hand, red mist wrapped around the man. He began to choke on nothing, the air not receiving the oxygen it needed for him to breathe. A distinctive red energy formed around his neck, and began to tighten.

"You dare speak to me that way," her voice did not raise in anger, but kept its soft tone. "Speak again, and it will be your last," she waved her hand out once again, and the red energy from his neck vanished, and he inhaled deeply, more gasping for air. He began to cough, and hunch over, inhaling the air. His face had turned red, but Lady Chaos continued to descend gracefully down the stairs. She came off the last step, and looked at the men up close. All were middle aged, two had black hair, and the other dirty blonde. But they all had blue eyes, they were not bright as the ocean, but a dull colour.

Lady Chaos' eyes focused on the man that spoke without permission. He was the middle man, as they stood side by side. She walked forward, down two more steps to come into the lower floor of the throne room.

"Bitch!" His voice raised, and spoke once again. Clearly, this man did not like the woman who was in charge. Without warning, Lady Chaos raised her left hand up, and a ball of red energy formed in her palm. With a simple flick of her wrist out towards the man, a wave of energy flew free from the ball, and hit the man. Screams of agony rang free from the throne room, as the man disintegrated instantly. The screams died as soon as they left his mouth. His chains fell to the ground, as they were untouched by her wrath. The left over dust crumbled to the floor, making a pile of his disintegrated bones.

"I warned him," she states calmly, after the attack. The remaining three men cowarded in fright, but it only brought a smile to her lips.

"I watched as humanity crawled from the sea, onto land. Watch as they build civilisations, and tear them down," Lady Chaos states, walking in front of the men, eyeing each one of them up. "Who do you think inspired such... Chaos," a smirk danced across her face, finding the joy in reliving the past, and that of humanity's discord.

"What do you want with us?" The last man spoke, he also had a thick British voice. "Because you cannot keep us here! We have right-" before the man could finish his sentence, Lady Chaos's eyes squinted, and the man's head twisted one-eighty around, snapping it and killing him.

"I do hate when they talk without being told," she responds, like she did nothing wrong. Another rule when in her realm. "Now," she walked back over to the last two, who were still crowding in fear. "Who would like to guess why you are here?" She arched a perfectly shaped eyebrow up at them. However, the prisoners remained silent, which ensured their survival, and allowed Lady Chaos to smirk. "You may speak," she instructed, eyes cocking between the renaming two men. The men shared a glance, as they had no clue of why they were here nor knew one another.

"We-we do not know, your majesty," the first man states, bowing his head slightly, not baring to make eye contact.

"I was informed that the four men that I had in this throne room were sentenced to be hanged in the morning," she explained to the men, but they listened with precision and did not make eye contact. "But I thought I might have use of your skills, but tis seems two of your fellow prisoners were not equipped to have the decorum that one shows in front of their Queen," she extended her right hand out to the first man, and used her index finger to slowly raise his chin up to meet her gaze. "Do you have what it takes to serve? To bend to my will, to take orders, even if you know it is morally wrong?" She asked with a gleeful smile, taking pleasure in torturing these poor souls.

As if she knew someone was staring at her, she flicked her eyes to the left, to see the second man staring at her. Her eyes burned into his, and suddenly they shifted to a dark red hue, in-sighting fear. The man quickly turned in position and began to run, but was rugged back quickly, forgetting for a moment he was chained to one other.

"I have one answer," she removed her index finger from the man's chin, and flicked her hand up, bending her wrist back slightly. However, the second man's neck twisted around, snapping it, and he fell to the floor like stones. "So, what will it be, Jeremy?" She asked while walking up the two steps, and back to the main landing. Turning to face him once again. She could see the cogs turning in his head, if he declines, he dies. If he accepts, it's slavery, but it is better than death.

"Servitude. Your majesty," he kneels to the ground, bowing his head. A pleasing smile formed on her face, as at least one of the mortal men understood who was in charge.

"We will find good work for you yet," she snapped her left index and thumb together, and the click sound echoed in the massive hall. The chains that bound Jeremy fell from his wrist and feet, and clattered to the floor. Without another word, the Queen flourished her hand up as the ball of red energy generated at her palm, and she flicked her wrist out to the side. Jeremy was engulfed in a red mist, and was sent away to begin his training.

Lady Chaos took a sigh of pleasure, earning a new servant is always exciting. She looked at the wasted three men that she had to kill, because they could not follow the rules or bow to a woman's rule. She took a few steps closer to the disintegrated body, only left was dust. She crouches down, finding it a pity that she didn't get more servants.

"Death, I summon thee. One of seven. Second oldest to the Endless. I invite you into my domain as a guest. To take these souls where they belong, either Heaven or Hell. But do not be long," her voice commanded, but it was soft and elegant in a way. Just then, the dust that was gathered, swayed swiftly through the air, as if a breeze came.

"Hello, Death," Lady Chaos spoke with a hint of a smirk, as she stood back to her feet and turned around to see a woman standing on the main landing, before the dip. Death was a woman of course, she was wearing that of the mortal world. To be fair it looked like rags.

"Hello, Lady of Chaos," she dipped her head ever so slightly, acknowledging her statues. "It has been awhile," her eyes cocked between Lady Chaos and the dead bodies behind her. And she could tell that Death wasn't impressed.

"Do not give me that look," the Queen warned Death. "You could have simply ignored my summons, and sent someone else," the Queen offered the point of sending someone else instead of Death herself. "But here you are," she tapped her index finger with the last four words she spoke, in the direction of Death.

"My duty is to them," Death responds, that she would not exist if Humans did not. "Even if they have done wrong in their life. I am just a carrier," she went on, but Lady Chaos rolled her eyes at the woman as she went up the two steps.

"Yes, yes. I know," the Queen responds, climbing up the staircase. "Take them and leave," The Queen waves her hand out, gesturing to hurry and be gone. Lady Chaos's eyes fluttered shut briefly to blink, but Death appeared a few steps up her, making her stop on her step.

"I am not at your beck and call," Death barked back, but kept her tone calm.

"And I do not do your job for you," the Queen sassed back, climbing up the steps, but her eyes never left Death's. "Death is beautiful, merely a stepping point to a better life than they live in the mortal realm. Unless they have been bad," Lady Chaos took a few more steps up, and towered over Death looking down at her. Sort of demonstrating her dominance. "I just cut their lives short," a wicked smile came to her face, reliving the memories of the many mortals she had killed.

"Still. You could have some dignity," Death retorted looking up at Lady Chaos.

"Where is the fun in that?" She questioned with a cackle, finding humour in Death's words. "Now take the souls, and go," with a last lingering look, Lady Chaos turned on her step, and walked back up the staircase. She could feel the cold eyes of Death upon her, but she paid them no mind.

Another breeze waved through the throne room, and the flap of wings echoed in the Queen's ears. With in no time, she reached her throne, and swirled on the spot, and in one swift motion, sat. Surely, she was going to see Death again. And maybe one of her siblings...
