GamerVerse [Facts based from Fanfics]
Summary: The GamerVerse is a trope mostly based on the Gamer Fanfiction on Fanfic.Net and the Manga Version online; the story usually starts off with the protagonist dying off by any form of death, most commonly being Truck-Sama where they then proceed to be chosen as the next Gamer and after selecting their settings they are then sent off into the world of their choosing based on past Knowledge. (Note: By this info, I mean they can be dropped into a world based on the fandom they are interested in, like Undertale, for example.) Their path depends on choices. If they become a Hero of sorts or perform good deeds, they are seen in a good light, but if they become a Villain or make selfish decisions, they are feared or detested by others. However, aside from the obvious two routes, there are some cases in which that usual black-and-white perspective doesn't exist, making these Players Mortally Gray.
Facts:
Origins: The Gamer System was initially founded by a divine entity or multiple higher beings. After numerous beta tests, it became operational and was introduced across most Multiverses, including various fandoms. This system functions as an ability that progressively strengthens as users gain levels. (LVs for short) However, in the Worm and RWBY universes, the system operates in Hell Mode, making it exceptionally challenging for Players who choose these two worlds. As for the other worlds the difficulties all depend based on the fandom, and for the modes in question they are either set to Normal or Hard Mode.
What is a Gamer?: A person who plays video games or participates in role-playing games. This person is known for consistently making a strong effort. Gamer's Ability on the other hand: A special power created by a deity, this ability gives it's holder the opportunity for amazing growth in physical ability, power, skills and even magic. (Note: The system operates using RPG, and Dating Simulator Game mechanics.)
Avatar Maker: The Avatar Maker is a Oc creator that edits out your profile picture, and this can be available once you have decided on a world to start however the downside is that it is only used once as seen in gamer fanfics. Meaning whatever you choose for your appearance cannot be changed that is unless you use dyes for your hair, and the standard disguise one can make from clothing choices.
Death of a Gamer: If you die in the game then it counts as an immediate death for you unless you have an extra life scenario just like the Mario Universe has with their powerups. Either way depending on what you have if you do not have a means of getting a second chance then it's game over for the gamer. Upon the discovery of confirmed death their stuff will then be removed from the place they died at, and their soul will be passed on as noted.
System A.I.: Your system A.I. is a very important aspect in the Gamerverse for it mostly acts as an mentor-figure plus they would also assist you, give you advice, and support you no matter what Alignment you choose. This AI also helps you raise your WIS and INT points by 1 due to the assistance you received. The A.I. in question can also be modified to the Gamer's specifications like for example the voice can sound like Alexa or it can sound like someone you know.]
What happens during the progress?: When you are reborn into a new world the memories of your vessel or variant's life will merge along with your consciousness so in other words get some pain medication or prepare yourself as this might hurt a little due to the fusion of consciousnesses. Once it is all over it's from here that you will successfully transmigrate/be reborn into the universe, and any info from yourself in this world can be useful especially if you chose random for world generation.
What are Dungeons?: Dungeons in Gamer Fanfics are either auto-created or sometimes made by players in the world using the skill Id-Create, These gateways leads to other worlds/pocket dimensions full of strong creatures along with a final boss at each end of it. As for their appearance, and the experience of going into one think of them as similar to the type of dungeons in minecraft with the biome, types of mobs, item drops, etc.
Tutorials?: Tutorials in Gamerverse are usually seen at the very start of fanfics, and as for their purpose well it's simple as these are meant to teach new players of how the game exactly works. The A.I. in question is a big part of these tutorials as they/she/he will properly explain how each stat works, What skills are, and along with other content featured in the system. At the end there might be a possible first mission which introduces the concept of quests which in short are activities you can do to gain rewards.
