Garroth's POV

   Oh boy. Last night my baby brother showed us all how ponies were "the true essence of evil." All that happened was us being confused beyond imagination and not falling asleep, instead, passing out because of lack of sleep. But it's now morning and I have to patrol the walls. I dragged myself off the floor and headed back to Phoenix Drop, which wasn't too far away. I entered the guard station and greeted Brian, who had taken over our shifts last night. He nodded and sipped his coffee. I walked upstairs and changed from my clothes to my armor. I jogged to the walls and began patrolling.

   An hour later (Y/N), Katelyn, and Cadenza came back. I let them in. Soon after the other guys came with Kiki and Emmalyn. Kiki smiled and chirped a good morning.

   "Good morning," I replied, stifling a yawn. I let them in and later still Nicole, Kawaii~Chan, and Aphmau came back. I over heard one of them scream some random letters (OTP!) before being shushed. I greeted them and they smiled innocently. I gave Aphmau a raised eyebrow and she giggled cutely, but not as cutely as before, like when I first met her. Am I not in love with her anymore? I started questioning myself. If I'm not in love with Aphmau, has someone taken her place? Do I love someone else? Or do I just not love her, or anyone, romantically. I started going through all the girls in my head.

   Kiki? No. Emmalyn? No. Lucinda? Nope. Kawaii~Chan? Nothing. Although her sweets are good. Aphmau I already know I don't love. Donna's with Logan. Cadenza? That would technically make Laurance and I brothers, but I don't love her. Katelyn? No. Hmmm. Who else is there? Oh yeah. Nicole. No. (Y/N). I could feel my face heating up a little. Okay then. I'm in love with (Y/N). Who would have thought? Well I should start paying attention again.

   For the rest of my shift I kept vigilant. No one came by, not even any animals. I finished my shift without a hitch and passed it off to Laurance. I wandered back to the guard station and poured myself a cup of now cold coffee. I took a bit of milk and mixed it with the coffee before taking a much needed sip. Aphmau wandered in, doing her lord duties and checking on everyone. Even if I don't have a crush on her anymore, she really is a great person.

   It was later in the day, when Dante was on patrol, when something finally happened. Zane was at Phoenix Drop's gates with the Lord of Scaleswind.

   "Where is my daughter?!" The Lord of Scaleswind demanded.

   "What? We don't know your daughter," Aphmau said.

   "Yes you do. The High Priest Zane said you kidnapped her, just like you kidnapped his brother, the heir of O'kasis. (O'ka ka) You, the Lord of Phoenix Drop, are holding both our loved ones captive," he accused. Zane just laughed when Aphmau sputtered.

   "B-But I didn't kidnap anyone. Who even is your daughter?"

   "Nicole Van Rosenburg." Aphmau and I gasped. She was my fiancé?!

   "I... I..."

   "If you don't have my daughter in three days, we will destroy your village." Zane laughed before leaving with his army, the Nicole's dad, and his army.

   "We need to find Nicole." Everyone gathered at the gates ran off to search and ask others to search. We hunted until sunset, but couldn't find her. She wasn't in her house, or anywhere else in Phoenix Drop. The weirdest part was that all her stuff, the little that she had, was still here. Even Roxie(I bet you guys forgot about her) seemed confused. I went back to the guard station to see Kenmur and Emmalyn waiting.

   "Hello," I greeted while sitting down. Kenmur and Emmalyn both stood near me.

   "Hey Garroth. I was wondering if you think Phoenix Drop could survive if they decided to fight us." I sighed.

   "The odds aren't good. Phoenix Drop will be completely slaughtered. If we don't find Nicole....."

   "I see. Then Emmalyn and I are going to try to invent heat signature googles to be of some use. See you later." Kenmur and Emmalyn both left. I put my head in the table. Three days. And one is gone. I looked up as Laurance entered and sat across from me, not saying a word. Worry was blatantly written on his face. We sat in silence, lost in similar thoughts. If we don't find Nicole, Phoenix Drop will be demolished. I went upstairs and changed. I laid down. If we don't find Nicole we will either be destroyed or have to evacuate. We'll have to discuss this tomorrow. I paused in my thoughts to get more comfortable in my bed. Nicole, where are you?
