Garroth's POV

   I was told to wait in a clearing by Lillian, so I did. After all, she helped me realize how backstabbing the people of Phoenix Drop are, and showed me that Zane wasn't bad, others just thought he was. Sitting in the clearing, Lillian came up to me and gave me an orb. It had a sort of aura around it, and it made me feel powerful. When I held the amulet, I absorbed it, startling me. Lillian smiled and changed her appearance back to what she really looked like before heading off into the woods. I moved out of the too bright sun behind a tree at the edge of the clearing. Soon, I heard some voices approaching. They looked around and saw me, and I became the guard I was when I recognized Zane. I locked up my feelings since I was now an official Jury of Nine member. I stood up, noticing the other guard Zane had. (Y/N). I knew no one in Phoenix Drop was to be trusted. At least (Y/N) knows which side is right. (Y/N)'s face was filled with fear with a twinge of horror. When she noticed me staring, she tried to clear her face of emotion but still had a slight frown. Zane glanced between us before heading back to the center of the clearing. A storm of rustling came from the bushes, and a ton of the Phoenix Drop residents stumbled into the clearing. Emmalyn, Kenmur, Dante, Laurance, masked guy who needs a shirt, Katelyn, and Aphmau. I glared at each and everyone of them, and they finally noticed me.

   "Garroth!" Aphmau yelled. "What are you doing here?"

   "I'm here with my brother, who knows the true meaning of loyalty. I'm working for him now, and the same goes for (Y/N)," I said, directing attention away from myself. (Y/N) looked sorry, but I willed her not to be. It seemed to work as she didn't say anything. Zane stepped forward and started his show.

   "It's nice of you to join us Lady Aphmau," Zane sneered. "I was just about to-" Laurance tried to strike Zaen but I stopped him. When Katelyn tried, (Y/N) whipped out her scythe and blocked her every strike. Zane laughed at their futile attempts while Dante ran to get help. He would be too late.

   Zane pulled an amulet from his pocket and a portal opened. Lillian jumped through, followed by Zane. (Y/N) and I followed. We landed in an all white dimension with a huge temple, which Zane was already entering. Following faithfully, we ascended the steps to a pedestal with a flame hovering over it. The traitors from Phoenix Drop had followed us in, and were now in the doorway. Zane reached out to touch the flame, but it vanished at his touch. It appeared in front of Aphmau and went into her. Zane yelled in anger and turned into his dark form. Aphmau and her gang readied themselves. Lillian and (Y/N) headed down into battle. Zane, still angry that Aphmau had stolen the relic from him, went to join the battle, but Laurance tried to attack him. He would have succeeded, but I stopped his blade with my own. Some where I had turned into my Jury form, and Laurance had become a Shadow Knight. We started at each other battling for the advantage. Laurance spoke, trying to knock some sense into me.

   "I know this isn't you. Why would you ever betray us? What did we do?"

   "Your Lady Aphmau doesn't care about you," I growled.

   "What did Aphmau do? She's such a sweet innocent girl who cares for everyone. Why would she hurt you?" I realized that Laurance was right. I dropped my sword and put my hands up. Laurance lowered his sword and I picked mine up again. I would continue the battle, but on a different side. Laurance and I headed towards Zane.
