Your POV

Zane drew closer and closer, my scythe kicked away by the ravenette demon. I was cornered, and Garroth didn't seem to be here. Did he disappear like I have? Suddenly Garroth appeared, knocking Zane down and allowing me enough time to scramble to my feet and dart to my scythe. I snatched it up and turned, just in time to see Zane sweep Garroth's feet out from under him. I leaped towards them, barely blocking the blow. Garroth hurried to get up and, in turn, knocked me down. I rolled to my left and barely dodged the deadly blow. Garroth tried to knock Zane's sword away, but failed. Zane's counter left Garroth unarmed, so I ran to protect the blonde. Zane heard me coming, and swung his sword backwards. My momentum kept me going, and Zane's sword sliced my stomach, causing a deep cut. I screamed and staggered backwards, as the white scenery turned into a grassy field with a huge tree. I feel against the tree as Laurance dashed towards me. The brunette peppered me with questions, but I didn't respond.

"Zane. I tried to stop him from killing Garroth. I got hurt," I managed. Laurance nodded, and used some of the leaves that had fallen to try and staunch the bleeding. I winced when Laurance pressed too hard, so he was surprisingly gentle.

"Thanks," I said, holding Laurance's hand. "Thank you so much."

"Don't talk like that. Don't talk like you're going to die. Oh, if only Aphmau were here," Laurance replied.

"Why Aphmau? I like having you as company."

"Oh, I like being with you too, when I'm not a ballerina," I laughed at his remark. "But Aphmau can heal people. No on eis sure why, but most of the fandom thought it was because she was a descendant of Irene."

"Shhhh. You weren't supposed to break the fourth wall."

"Opps. Sorry."

"It's okay, just-" the bells interrupted me mid sentence. As we both started to fade, I kissed Laurance's cheek, much as he had done last time. He smiled, and I grinned back. He waved, and we both departed to our own world. I stooped to grab my scythe, and looked around for Zane. He was snarling at Garroth, who had gotten his sword back and was battling Zane. I quickly went behind Zane and hit him on the head, causing him to almost go unconscious. A bit to my left, a portal opened. The masked man who needed a shirt ran through the portal and sprinted to where Zane was just getting up. He grabbed Zane by the neck and gripped a cracked orb in his other hand. He looked down, pausing, before staring at Zane. I took a step back, bumping into Garroth, and realized his armor had been pierced, but there was no wound. I sensed the determination of the stranger, and saw the fear on Zane's face. I started to feel that something was very, very wrong, and Zane confirmed it.

"You'll kill us both!" Zane screamed. I began to feel nauseous, and ran towards the portal. Garroth followed, easily passing me. Garroth leaped through the portal, and I followed a split second later. An explosion rang in my ears, and I was pushed forward and fell to the ground. I slowly sat up and looked behind me. Garroth hugged me, while I just sat there. A huge crater took the place of where the portal used to be. Garroth left me for Aphmau and Laurance who had just joined the scene. APhmau fell to the ground and shrieked. Laurance came over to me and joined me on the ground, hugging me.

"It's okay. Everything is okay." I nodded at Laurance's words, feeling numb. If we had started running even a second later, we could have died. I cried, clinging to Laurance as he helped me up. He ended up carrying me to the top of a tree, gently placing me on a bed. I finally started to settle down and Laurance continued to say sweet nothings. He brushed my hair from my eyes as sleep almost claimed me. I didn't miss the words Laurance said though.

"I love you, (Y/N). Both Garroth and I do, but I'm determined to win your heart. Even if I become a monster because of it."

What a way to end a chapter, huh? Just so you know, I probably won't stick with the Season 3 plot. I have some things I want to do that Aphmau probably won't. Anyways, have a nice morning/day/afternoon/evening/night/whatever. BYE!
