Your POV
I woke up, stretched, and didn't fall off the bed. That was a great start to my day, before all the memories of last night came crashing back. Aphmau ran from Kawaii~Chan's house, and I followed her. She told me she was pregnant with Aaron, the shirtless guy's, child. I comforted her and escorted her home before heading back to finish my now cold apple pie.
I looked out at the sea, standing by the telescope. I wrapped my arms around myself as a breeze ruffled the leaves and branches. Another set of arms wrapped around me, but I didn't even flinch. I turned my head slightly and saw light brown hair, and just stood there with Laurance.
"The ocean is magnificent. It's so powerful, but looks so peaceful."
"You want to know what else is magnificent?"
"I swear if you say I am I will leave."
"Okay, I won't. But the ocean is magnificent." I nodded, before shivering.
"Come on, let's go into town," Laurance suggested. I nodded, and we ambled around Phoenix Drop until reaching the yet to be completed docks. I noticed some tools still around and dragged Laurance over. I started rebuilding where Garroth had left off, and Laurance just watched me.
"It would be helpful and faster if you helped," I called, nailing a board into place. Laurance picked up and board and positioned it while I nailed it into place. We continued working until late in the afternoon, when our stomaches grumbled. Exhausted, I just laid on the sand. Laurance looked down at me.
"Do you want a late lunch?" he asked. I nodded, panting slightly.
"Can you please bring me food?" I asked. Laurance pondered my request.
"Hmmm. Why should I? You dragged me here and forced me to slave away under the hot sun and now you want me to bring you food? Is that correct?" Laurance said aloud. I glared at him.
"First of all, I did not force you to work. I merely said the work would be done faster. Secondly, the sun isn't that hot. Thirdly, yes, I want you to bring me food. Please." Laurance gave me a really face.
"Ya know, I don't need your sass."
"But you do have some embarrassing moments that everyone can see."
"Oh yeah? Like what?" Laurance called my bluff.
"Oh, nothing major. Just you dancing like a ballerina at that one party."
"Wait, you have proof of that?" Laurance asked, stammering a bit. I nodded, getting sand in my hair. Laurance paled slightly. I smirked.
"So, will you get me food now?" I asked sweetly, twirling a stand of hair around my finger. Laurance nodded and jogged off. I closed my eyes and soaked up the sunlight, letting it's bright rays warm me. A few minutes later, Laurance returned, and I was irked because I had almost fallen asleep for a nap. However, there was food, so I couldn't be upset. As I happily bit into my sandwich, Laurance ate a slice from his orange. Remembering a story I had been told, I asked Laurance a question.
"Didn't you use to have long orange hair?" Laurance nodded slowly, confusion coloring his face.
"How did you know about that?" he asked.
"Magic," I replied, doing jazz hands. I continued to eat my lunch while Laurance slowly finished his orange, still puzzled as to how (Y/N) knew he used to have orange hair. Little did he know, Author~Chan had actually given (Y/N) that tidbit of knowledge because it was kind of useless to the plot line.
