Laurance's POV

   It was time for me to collect (Y/N) and take her to the baby shower and welcome party. I knocked on her door. I admired her house as footsteps approached the door, and (Y/N) opened it. I smiled, looking at her (H/L) (H/C) hair that went perfectly with her sparkling (E/C) eyes.

   "Hey Laurance, what's up?" (Y/N) asked, leaning against the door frame.

   "There's a baby shower and party to welcome this amazing girl to Phoenix Drop. Funny enough, she happens to look just like you. Do you per chance know her? I'm supposed to escort her to said party," I joked. (Y/N) smiled. It was devilish for a second, then turned normal. Ish.

   "Oh this is perfect. But no, I have not seen this fair maiden that you are to escort. Perhaps she is with Lady Aphmau?" (Y/N) joked.

   "Hmmm. Perhaps you have not seen this maiden because she is you?" I grinned. "Come on, let's go."

   "Just let me grab something from Cadenza's. You're going to love what I have in store." Sarcasm was dripping from every word. I gulped.

   "O-Okay." She scared me. Not when she was normal, but when she had something planned. Something probably very embarrassing. I followed (Y/N) to Cadenza's and watched as she came out with a box and a wild Cadenza.

   "Laurance, I am so very sorry for you. I know what she has planned," Cadenza told me as we walked. She was shaking her head and looked at me with pity.

   "I'm sure I can take it."

   "I'm sure you can, but the true question is will you still have your dignity afterwards," (Y/N) cackled. Oh my Irene, this is bad. Help me Irene, please. I'm begging you. (Y/N) grabbed my arm and dragged me the rest of the way to the wheat fields.

   "Where to now?" (Y/N) asked, still carefully balancing the box of punishment for my cockiness.

   "Kiki's barn. Now- Arg!" I was cut off and thrown off balance by an impatient (Y/N) who ended up dragging me to the barn.

   "Come on! Irene, Laurance, you're so slow," the (H/C)ette grumbled. Cadenza just followed us, smiling and holding in a chuckle. We arrived at the barn decorated with balloons and fairy lights. At the edge of the animal sanctuary (Y/N) adjusted her grip on my arm and the embarrassing box, preventing me from joining the partygoers. She handed me the box with a smirk.

   "I won't make you do it yet, but it will be tonight," (Y/N) said in a soothing voice.

   "And what will I be doing?" I asked, genuinely concerned for my wellbeing.

   "All in good time. All in good time," came the sly remark. Just then we were joined by Aphmau and Garroth, who didn't have his helmet on. (Y/N) looked confused until he spoke, then grinned, recognizing his (super hot) voice. (Y/N) and Aphmau immediately went to play with the kids, especially Leona. Cadenza went over to Donna and Kawaii~Chan saying something about an OTP? I must have misheard them.

   I wanted to dance with (Y/N) so badly. It was almost time for me to patrol, so I had to act fast. I watched her dancing with Malachi and Levin, grinning and laughing. Levin then grabbed (Y/N)'s leg, causing her to fall. Garroth helped her up and talked to her, saying something that caused them both to blush. (Y/N) then led Garroth to the dance floor. I felt jealousy surge through me, and I went to get a drink to calm down. Not root beer though. That stuff was nasty. They finished dancing and joined me at a table. I had grabbed some cake for myself, Garroth, and (Y/N), and they thanked me. I smiled, and took a small bite of the cake. I sighed. It was heavenly. (Y/N) laughed at my reaction. I gestured for her to try it before taking another bite. She took a bite, then tried to shove the rest in her mouth. Her tail was wagging furiously. I chuckled.

   "Hey," (Y/N) said after licking her plate clean. "I noticed you were watching me dance with Garroth. Was someone jealous?" she teased.

   "Of course I am. Who wouldn't be jealous of the girl dancing with the most good looking guy here?" That took (Y/N) by surprise. Garroth was a blushing mess and decided to leave.

   "Well I have something to take your mind off being jealous. Come on." I followed (Y/N) to the guard station, where she proceeded to push me and the box into my room. How the box magically appeared, I have no idea. I peeked into the box after being yelled at to change.

   "What?! No way am I wearing that!" I screamed, staring at the outfit in shock. (Y/N) just giggled.

   "Yes, you are. And that's not even the best part," she chirped. If this the just the beginning, I don't know what I'll do. "Unless you would rather do something else instead."

   "What? What's my other choice?" I asked, desperate.

   "You could always..... Kiss Garroth." I could hear her smirk through the door. "After all, you called him the 'most good looking guy here.'"

   "I'll wear this, thank you very much." I looked at the dreaded outfit, very much wishing I could burn it to ashes. I sighed, finally changing into it. It was clearly made by Cadenza, because the seams were perfectly aligned and she knew jus which shade of pink to choose. I exited my room to find (Y/N) doubled over from laughter, her (H/C) hair everywhere. She finally looked up and pulled a strand of hair out her mouth. I was standing there with my arms crossed.

   "Happy?" I asked.

   "Very."

And thus ends another chapter. Don't worry, next week will include an entire explanation of the outfit and a drawing as well. I would've described it in this chapter but I'm about to fall asleep. See y'all next week. Ciao!
