Your POV

   Finally, Garroth was resting peacefully, the healing potion empty now. I sat back in the only chair and closed my eyes, wishing for a break. I stood up, felt Garroth's forehead, and left the room. I headed downstairs and outside, where Pikachu was still waiting. She looked up as I exited. I sat down next to her.

   "So, what has happened in your life?" I asked, trying to rub away the sleepiness from my eyes.

   "I lived with my dad, Freddy Fazbear, and my sister until one day my sister disappeared without a trace. No one knew where she had gone, so I left to try and find her. I stumbled onto Phoenix Drop and stayed there for a while, making friends with everyone. Kawaii~Chan asked me to go to Lucinda's place for a special ingredient, so I did. I couldn't find her in her house, so I went back outside. Then a bee flew in front of me and startled me. I fell backwards and ended up on this island, staring at what I assume was an empty portal frame." Pikachu explained.

   "Well, I think you fell through the portal while Lucinda was on this island. You're timing must have been perfect for neither of you not to see each other." I chuckled. "So how long have you been here?"

   "Three days. I didn't want to break into any of the houses unless I had to. Luckily you guys came back from wherever you were before I starved."

   "We were in the Nether." I replied.

   "Oh. Can I ask why?" I nodded.

   "Laurance, the brunette guy, had been guarding the portal and went missing. He wasn't on the island, and the only other place he could have gone was the Nether."

   "You guys care for each other an awful lot, don't you?" Pikachu asked, letting her hair fall into her downcast eyes.

   "Yeah, that's what friends are for." I paused. "Say, do you have a place to stay?"

   "No, not at this moment."

   "Great! You can live with me until you get your own house."

   "Really?" Pikachu asked.

   "Yep. I'm positive. Come on, I'll show you it," I replied. I grabbed Pikachu's hand and led her to my house. I showed her the spare room and allowed her to unpack while I looked outside. The portal was glowing, and a familiar head of black hair appeared. I rushed downstairs and out the door to tell the others.

I said I would update, so I did. Also, my friend and I are writing a Red Queen fanfic parallel universe, which is pretty fun. It's better than any of the five projects and essays I have to do. Anyways, see you all next week. Ciao!
