Background: Amari lived outside the clans out in the wilderness with her parents till she was 58 where she was married off to a traveling dwarf from the Iron Hills. Her family was struggling to survive out in the wilds and they were facing starvation, so in an attempt to save thier only child they married her to Skotic. At first he was okay to her they even had a child ( vakita) but as time progressed he became violent and eventually it turned into out right abuse. One night he attacked her with a knife and made to attack her daughter but she tried to stop him and in the process knocking him down onto his knife. She didnt have anyplace to go so her and vakita ran away into the wilds to escape his family. While out there she discovered she was pregnant again with Skotics child (naming him Grawlin). They wouldnt have survived out there except a dwarf from Ered Luin (Dwalin) passed by and saved them.Eventually he took them both home with him to marry her and adopted both children as his own..giving them a wonderful life filled with love.

They had been married for 10 years when Amari found out she was with child once more...unknown to Dwalin because he had left to help reclaim Erebor before she found out. While he was gone she gave birth to a healthy boy - Tahlin- who he finally got to meet after Erebor was won.
