10 hours later

Percy's POV:

It's been ten hours since we left the diner, and in that time, Annabeth, Grover and I have managed to take gum out of a Zebra, feed a Lion, have multiple heart to hearts which included me convincing Annabeth to go back to her Father's house for the school year. Grover was also able to convince the Lion to not eat us or the Zebra but we had to groom him, which is harder than it sounds. And when my two companions were sleeping I practiced focusing my energy while using my bow. I was now able to recreate what I saw in my vision, but I didn't tell the others. Suddenly I feel the truck stop and I motion the Lion back into his cage, which he doesn't seem happy about but complies as not to blow our cover.

"Grover, Annabeth. Come on we need to hide!" I whisper to them as I try to shake them awake but it doesn't work "Good Gods of Olympus..." I mutter as I drag them behind a few crates where I continue to shake them awake

Just then, the doors to the truck open and the Lion lets out a roar which wakes both Grover and Annabeth up. They both look around franticly but I hold my finger to my mouth and point towards the doors where two men are standing.

"Oh, Shut up you big feline. Were almost to our stop" one of the men say while the other looks around

Annabeth and Grover's eyes widen with slight fear at being caught but I smile an evil smile.

"Grover, can you somehow get those animals to the wild?" I whisper to him and he nods

"What are you going to do Percy?" Annabeth asks in a quiet voice

I pull my bow off my back, then grab two arrows from my quiver and notch them, all while the evil smile on my face grows.

"I'm going to cause a distraction, G-man get ready for whatever you're going to do. Annabeth, get ready to find us a hiding spot alright?" I whisper and my companions nod as one of the men notice something

"Oh Hell, the Zebra's cage has been opened" the man announces and I walk out of my hiding spot and have my back to the door as I look at the two men near the animals

I clear my throat and the two pieces of filth turn toward me.

"You know, it's not nice to smuggle animals. Especially in these conditions" I say as I draw back the string with both arrows notched making sure I don't focus my energy "So here's a little secret, don't mess with the wild. Because it finds a way to fight back" As I finish I release my arrows and they both fly straight and true before imbedding themselves in the men's shoulders

The Lion and Zebra both burst out of their cages as I hear Grover mumbling under his breath and I notice the animals gain a faint aura before they bound out of the truck. I load another two arrows onto my bow and let them fly toward the two animal smugglers before I sling my bow over my shoulder and grab Grover and Annabeth. I pull them out of the truck before I let go and the three of us race out of an alley way into the blinding lights of some city.

"Las Vegas, Nevada." Annabeth says quickly as we keep running down the sidewalk "Over there! A Hotel. We can go there to rest up, that means you Percy, you need sleep too" Annabeth declares which I sigh but nod

I look at the sign above the hotel and I narrowly make it out, 'Lotus Hotel and Casino'.

"Sounds nice, come on" Grover says and we run into the hotel

When we get in the first thing I notice is my instinct yelling at me 'GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE'. But sadly, Annabeth and Grover drag me farther into the hotel, up to the sign in desk where a woman smiles at us.

"Hello, and welcome to the Lotus Hotel and Casino. Please enjoy your stay" The woman says as she hands us three cards that look like credit cards and a room key

"Um, we didn't buy a room yet..." Annabeth says but the woman keeps smiling

"Your parents have already booked a room for the three of you. And of course, once you three get settled please make use of our arcade!" the woman says with her, creepy, never drooping smile

"Oh, well, thank you!" Annabeth says before she drags both Grover and me to the elevator

When we get in, Annabeth presses a button to go up a few floors and I look at my two companions.

"I don't like the feeling of this place. That receptionist, no one, and I mean NO one can hold such a creepy smile for so long" I say and Annabeth looks at me with a look of 'Really? It's a hotel idiot'

"It's a hotel, you seaweed brain, no monsters here" Annabeth says and I reluctantly agree as the elevator doors open and we walk to our room

"Maybe your right Annabeth, maybe I do need some sleep" I say while letting out a yawn

We get to our room and Annabeth opens the door to reveal an awesome looking suite with three beds. I instantly walk over to one and look at it as if I haven't slept in years.

"Guys, go have some fun in the arcade... don't wake me up until were going to leave" I say as I pitch forward as exhaustion takes control over me and I land on the bed passing out immediately into a dreamless sleep

Third Person POV:

Phoenix walked into the Lotus Hotel and Casino, looking pissed off. Fire was dancing in his eyes and everyone he looked at either moved out of his way or stood frozen in fear.

"Why did they have to be in here! Why!" Phoenix growls to himself as he walks to the receptionist who is still smiling

"Hello Sir! Welco..." The woman starts but Phoenix glares at her

"I'm not in the mood. Give me the room number of three young preteens. One Satyr, one Girl with Blonde Hair and Grey eyes, and a boy with Sea green eyes and black hair with three scars over his left eye" Phoenix says with a tone of voice that implies pain if he doesn't get what he wants soon

The woman backs up in fear and her smile vanishes before she nods and quickly grabs a room key and hands it to Phoenix.

"Thank you" Phoenix says as he grabs the key and walks to the elevator

Phoenix was wearing a black t-shirt with black pants and black combat boots, he had his bow slung over his shoulder as well as a quiver, his sword was attached to his left hip. He opens the elevator and goes up to the floor where the three Questers are located. When Phoenix gets to the correct room he tosses the key away and kicks the door in.

"YOU THREE ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!!!" Phoenix growls angrily but looks confused as he only sees Perseus laying on the bed asleep

Phoenix walks over and turns him over and shakes him violently. Perseus' eyes snap open before he looks around, when his eyes land on Phoenix he looks confused.

"Phoenix why did you wake me up? We just got here..." Perseus says as he gets up and Phoenix starts pacing angrily

"You Idiot! You're in the lair of the Lotus eaters! Get your companions and let's get out! You have one day left after today finishes!" Phoenix says and Perseus' eyes widen before he leaps out of the bed and grabs his stuff before he notices a backpack on the floor

"Phoenix, is that yours?" Perseus asks and Phoenix shakes his head

Perseus picks the backpack up and slings it over one shoulder before picking up a note. After he reads it he crumples it up and shrugs.

"A last-minute gift from the god that helped us in Denver I guess" Perseus says and Phoenix shrugs

"Whatever, now come on. I don't have much time, I need to get back out and keep looking for the thief who took Zoe's sword. When you're finished with the quest mind helping me?" Phoenix says as the two walk out of the room and to the elevator

"Sure, what does the sword look like?" Perseus asks

"A medium length Xiphos, made of Celestial bronze, its leaf shaped and has 'Anaklusmos' on the hilt" Phoenix says as the elevator stops and the two walk out and into the arcade

"Alright, I'll keep an eye out, although I feel like I know who has it. But I want to make sure beforehand" Perseus says and Phoenix nods

The two find Annabeth eating a flower and Perseus knocks it out of her hand and picks her up before slinging her over his shoulder.

"Come on Annabeth, time to go" Perseus says as Phoenix does the same to Grover who was at a video game where the animals shoot the hunters

"Grover, it's not real. Why don't you come with me and you can do it for real" Phoenix says flatly as he walks over to Perseus "Alright, we have about fifteen seconds until the Lotus eaters start swarming us. So, let's get going"

With that, Phoenix and Perseus quickly make their way through the hotel until they reach the lobby where they find themselves surrounded.

"For the love of Chaos!" Phoenix curses but Perseus hands a kicking and screaming Annabeth to him before he draws his bow

"Phoenix, please knock them both out" Perseus says and Phoenix nods before he pinches a spot on both Grover and Annabeth's necks and they go limp as Perseus raises his hands in the air and the building rumbles

"What in Chaos' name are you doing?" Phoenix says curiously

"Controlling the water." Perseus says as water bursts out of the walls and swirl around him

Perseus thrusts his hands toward the group of people and the water follows his command flawlessly. The water slams into the hotel workers and then Perseus spreads his hands and the water parts for them to run through.

"Let's go!" Perseus says and Phoenix rushes out of the hotel with Perseus hot on his heels

Percy's POV:

I hail a taxi and Phoenix puts both Grover and Annabeth into the back seat and I climb in. I am about to close the door but Phoenix stops me.

"Stay Safe Perseus. And remember keep an eye out for that sword" He says and I smile

"Of course, I'll let you know as soon as I find it" I say and Phoenix nods before he closes the door

I look at the driver and he looks back as I pull out the lotus hotel and casino card.

"Where are you headed?" The driver asks

"Los Angeles, and step on it please" I say as I hand the man the card who swipes it and the card reader calculates before it settles on the infinity symbol, the driver looks back and smiles and nods as he hands me the card

"Of course, milord. Getting you to Los Angeles would be an honor" The man says as I buckle up Annabeth and Grover who seem to be finally waking up

The driver slams on the gas pedal and we take off down the road running red lights and breaking gods know how many traffic laws. I finally buckle myself in and put the card back in my pocket.

"Percy, where are we?" Annabeth asks groggily

"On our way to Los Angeles ma'am. Your boyfriend here has payed for the trip" the driver says and I notice Annabeth blush slightly before trying to sit up but winces

"Get some rest Annabeth, apparently you've been awake for five days" I say and Annabeth nods before closing her eyes and laying her head down in my lap

"So, are you two a thing?" the driver asks and I shake my head

"No, but I think she has a crush on me." I say and the driver nods

"Good, you two are way too young to be dating" He says and I laugh

"Agreed" I say and for a few minutes there is silence until the driver speaks again

"hey kid" he starts off but I shake my head

"My name is Percy" I correct him and he nods

"Percy, if you ever wonder what you should do with a girl" He says and I give him my full attention "Make sure you tell them how you feel as soon as you can. It's better to either be accepted or rejected right then and there than later down the road. Because the longer you wait the more your fantasies grow and before you know it, you expect too much from the person. And if they reject you, then you will hurt more than you would if you told them sooner." He finished and I smiled at the advice

We were cruising down the freeway at a decent ninety miles an hour before he slowed down drastically and turned onto the off ramp. I woke up Annabeth and Grover as the guy pulled into a gas station near what looked like a recording studio. The three of us got out but the driver stopped me, he quickly wrote down a number on a piece of paper and gave it to me.

"If you ever need a ride, just give me a call alright?" the man says and I nod

"Will do" I say and I turn to catch up with Annabeth and Grover "Alright guys, I have this feeling that we need to head to the recording studio..."

"Well, normally I would oppose that idea but so far you have been carrying us through this quest. So, I'm going to agree with you" Annabeth says and I smile at her

"Well, I never disagree with a daughter of Athena" Grover said and I chuckled before we started walking to the recording studio

We were right in front of the doors when our path was blocked by a group of 5 males who looked like they were in a gang. They each had baseball bats and scowls on their faces.

"Alright chumps hand over the money and the girl and you can leave alive" the fattest one of them said and I raised an eyebrow

"What are you going to do? Roll over us?" I say and I see the boy's face turn tomato red

"Do you know who I am?!" he said in a slightly higher pitched voice

"A fat tomato with anger issues?" I respond smoothly before I turn on the kid with a deadly glare "How about you and your little band of filthy males turn around and return to the dump you crawled your fat miserable butts out of, or I'll force you. The choice is yours"

The Kid yelled in outrage before he raised his bat and attempted to hit me over the head. I just moved forward and grabbed the handle of the bat and ripped it from the male's grasp. I then kicked the kid away slightly before surging forward in a fluid motion and swung the bat like I was making a home run. The bat broke as soon as it contacted the kid's stomach and he flew backwards into his buddies. I threw the broken piece of the bat to the side and let out a growl at the kids who scampered back and pulled their injured friend along.

"Percy, what was that?" Annabeth said slightly afraid

"I was just doing what was necessary, I won't have some idiots taking my friends from me. Come on, we have a god of the dead to meet with" I say as I walked into DOA Recording studios

I glanced around the lobby and noticed ghosts of kids and adults alike waiting. I quickly focused on getting to the ghoul who was manning the desk. When we stepped up to him, he looked at us with a board expression.

"What are your names and how did you die?" the Ghoul asked in a monotone

"Percy, Grover, and Annabeth. And we... er... died in a bathtub?" I say uncertainly and the ghoul looks at us with a critical eye

"Must have been a big bathtub" the ghoul says in a tone of voice that says, 'I know your lying now please go die so I can actually do my job'

I sigh as my brain kicks into overdrive about how to deal with this guy. The information surfaces and I smirk.

"Well, Charon, how much would it cost for me to pay for me and my two companions for a one-way trip to the underworld?" I ask and Charon's head snaps toward me with renewed interest

"Well, you are the first person to finally get my name right. Most people confuse me with Chiron, the famous trainer of heroes" Charon says bitterly and I put on a 'I feel you man' look

"Well, I can't see why you're not just as famous. You ferry people across the River Styx so they can get to their afterlife, without you, there wouldn't be a possible way to get to judgement" I say and Charon nods

"Yeah! Your right! I deserve more credit, and a raise. Have you seen this outfit? It's so outdated! But Hades refuses to give me a raise! So, at this rate, I'll never be able to get a new suit" Charon says loudly as he stands up and we can see his out of date suit.

"How about this? If you allow me and my friends to cross for three Drachma each, I'll go and talk to Hades about getting you a raise" I say as I pull out three full bags of Drachmas and put them on the desk "And you can keep all of those, if you give all the kids in here a ride to the afterlife" I finish and Charon looks at me and smiles widely

"I like the way you think kid. We have a deal!" Charon says as he scoops up the bags of Drachmas and then puts a small microphone to his mouth and he speaks into it "All Children, you just had your fee paid. Please make your way to the ferry." Charon announces and he looks at us with a smile "Follow me"

Charon walks through a door with a bunch of children following him. Grover, Annabeth, and I bring up the rear, and soon I notice were standing on a small wooden ferry with Charon right behind us.

"I must warn you, you will need to get by Cerberus, then after that, to enter the palace seek out Jade, she is Hades' guardian and a real sweetheart" Charon said and I dropped to a knee holding my head in extreme pain

"Percy are you alright?" I hear Annabeth say but her voice is distant as voices cloud my head, each of them saying 'Guardian'

I feel a hand on my shoulder and I look up to see Charon looking at me with curious eyes. Suddenly the voices disappear as we reach the other side of the River Styx and I stand up shakily.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Just a headache" I say and Charon frowns but shrugs

"It's not my place to question your headaches but I'm assuming they aren't frequent" Charon says and I sigh

"They have been getting worse since I found out I was a demigod" I admit and Charon chuckles

"Just makes your life harder doesn't it?" Charon said and I laugh

"You bet. Anyway, thanks again Charon. I'll make sure Hades gives you a raise" I say and Charon nods as the children leave the boat quickly followed by my companions and myself

Charon pushes the boat away, whistling a small tune and I smile. I then notice Annabeth's backpack start jolting around, which reminded me of my own pack. It seemed heavier than it should have been, I wondered why.

"For the love of Zeus! What is going on?" Annabeth yelled as she took her backpack off and opened it up and the flying shoes that Annabeth's friend Luke gave her to use, flew out and into the darkness of the underworld

"Didn't Luke give you those to use Annabeth?" I ask and She shakes her head

"Luke's friend Ethan suggested we use them" She responds and I shrug before I start walking toward where a bunch of spirits were lined up

There were three lines, one was moving quickly, and above that was the sign 'EZ Death' the other two lines were moving at a snail's pace. And standing between the two slow moving lines was the biggest Rottweiler ever, and on top of it being massive it had three slobbering heads.

"Hey, look there's Cerberus" I say while pointing at the massive three headed dog who looked at us with all three heads

"Uhhh. I think it sees us" Grover squeaked before Cerberus leaped over the lines of spirits and right in front of us "Yeah it definitely sees us" Cerberus growled at Grover before turning straight at me and bared his teeth

I look at Cerberus fearlessly and hold out my hand. Slowly and hesitantly Cerberus sniffs my outstretched palm before he presses one of his heads to my hand and I start petting him.

"Who's a good boy! Who's a good boy!" I say in a playful manner as I keep petting the giant three headed hellhound "That's right, you are! You're a good boy!"

I look back at Annabeth and Grover to see their jaws open completely and I look at Cerberus and motion him to wait for a second. I then walk over to my companions and I put a hand underneath their jaws and push them up forcing them closed, I removed my hand and their jaws opened again.

"Guy's close your mouths, there are things worse than flies in here" I say before going over to Cerberus and petting him some more "Hey, Cerberus. Mind giving us a ride to Hades' palace? I need to talk to my uncle" Cerberus lowered his heads and gave me a pleading look "Oh alright, I'll come down and play a bit when I have time." Cerberus lets out a deafening bark which causes a few stalactites to fall from the ceiling and crash into the three lines "I'll take that as a yes" I conclude as I climb onto Cerberus' middle head and motion for Annabeth and Grover to climb onto his other heads

They do so without questioning me but I can see that they are still trying to register the fact that we were riding Cerberus. Once we were situated, Cerberus bounded over the gates and started running at speeds that would make anyone jealous. In a matter of minutes, we were outside the black walls of Hades' palace, the three of us climbed off Cerberus and he bounded away. I walked to the gates of the Palace where two skeletons holding spears blocked my path by crossing said spears. I crossed my arms and glared at the skeletons as Annabeth and Grover came up on either side of me.

"Let them through, they have an appointment with Lord Hades" A female voice rang out and I watched as the skeletons uncrossed their spears and allowed us passage

I look around for the woman who gave us passage and I found a girl with Dark Chocolate brown hair, Cobalt blue eyes, with pale skin. She was wearing an outfit that looked like armor but also professional.

"Hello, I am Jade Cobalt, Hades' assistant. You must be Perseus Jackson, Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood" Jade says and Annabeth steps forward

"Assistant? I heard Charon call you Hades' Guardian" Annabeth said and I winced slightly

Jade stiffened at the correction but shook her head.

"We don't go by that title any longer. It brings up painful memories for Lady Artemis" Jade says and I clench my hands as my headache returns with full force then goes away just as quickly as it came

"I see, well, we were wondering if we could see Lord Hades" Annabeth says not noticing my pain which I was thankful for

"Yes, follow me please, and might I say. Perseus, you are one brave demigod if you tried to get Cerberus to bring you here" Jade says with a tone of approval

"It's Percy. I don't know why everyone is calling me Perseus, I don't like it. So please call me Percy" I say and Jade looks at me with a dangerous glint in her eye

"No, you are not Percy, you are Perseus. Maybe later on down the road, you will gain the right to be called Percy. But to the 'Assistants' of the gods you are Perseus. And in front of Artemis, you are Mr. Jackson, understand?" Jade says sadly as if I brought up a very depressing topic

"Sorry" I say quietly but Jade just shakes her head

"It's not your fault, Percy always hated to be called Perseus as well. I guess it goes with the name. Now come on, your appointment with Lord Hades is up" Jade says as she turns around and walks away

I quickly follow her with Grover and Annabeth following my lead. Soon we found ourselves in front of an empty throne, Jade walked over to the throne, turned around so she was facing us and then promptly took a kneel as shadows gathered around the throne and I saw my uncle appear. I quickly dropped to a knee and bowed my head.

"Lord Hades, it's a pleasure to meet you" I say with my head still down

"Rise Nephew, no need to bow in front of me. And Jade what did I tell you about that?" Hades said and Jade smiled

"Sorry milord, it's a habit that Chaos had drilled into us. He said that we should always show respect to our charges" Jade said as we all stood up and Hades looked me over

"So, Nephew, I see you brought me my brothers master bolt. But I must ask you, where is my helm?" Hades asked and I gained a 'Wait, where's the master bolt' look which caused Hades to laugh

"Uh... Lord Hades, I don't have the master bolt" I say to which Hades snaps his fingers and the backpack I had on appears in his hands

My uncle then rips open the bag and a bronze cylinder falls out and I look at it. Suddenly the information clicks into place and I let out a feral growl.

'You really should have expected this' I hear my instinct say to me and I roll my eyes

I look at Hades who seems to be studying me with curiosity.

"Uncle... can I call you that?" Hades nods "I think I know who has been causing all of the problems" Hades gives a gesture of 'go on' "I believe Heracles is to blame for the theft of the stolen items. He is the one who gave me the backpack when I was passed out in the Lotus Hotel and Casino. And if what I remember from history is correct, he was an arrogant, rude, lying, ass who used force to get what he wants" I finish and Hades nods his head

"I always hated the undeserving demigod" Hades admits and Jade nods "I'll tell you what. If you can get me my helm back to me within a week, I will help take care of your step dad. The other Olympians have already set up a plan but without me they need to really plan how to pull it off. Then once your step dad is gone, I will return your mother to you safe and sound. That sound like a deal?" Hades offers and I think it over

"That sounds reasonable, but also uncle, I think Charon deserves a raise. After all, he does ferry souls across the river nonstop." I say and Hades nods and looks at Jade

"Jade, give Charon a pay raise of two more Drachmas" Hades says and Jade nods before she drops into a shadow "Now, remember our deal Perseus" Hades says and I notice shadows gathering around him

"Wait!" I shout and Hades looks at me "I swear on the River Styx that I will retrieve Hades' Helm within a week as long as he swears on the Styx that his offer was genuine" I say and thunder rumbles and Hades smirks

"I swear on the river Styx that my offer was genuine, now good luck nephew" Hades says and more thunder rumbles before he vanishes into a mess of shadows

I walk over to the backpack that has Zeus' master bolt in it and I pick it up and toss it to Annabeth. She catches it and looks at me.

"I have a feeling were going to be meeting a 'friend' soon so I want you to keep that safe alright?" I say and she nods

I then pull out three pearls and toss one to both Grover and Annabeth.

"Just stomp on them and they will do the rest" I say and we all put the pearls on the ground and stomp on them

Suddenly, a faint blue bubble forms around us and we lift off the ground and shoot toward the roof. Grover and Annabeth let out a high-pitched scream and I smile and enjoy the ride. In a few moments, we find ourselves in the water near a beach and we walk ashore. When I step out of the water, I will myself dry and I notice a familiar looking motorcycle on the sand a hundred yards away. Standing next to the vehicle was none other than Heracles himself holding a medium length, Celestial bronze Xiphos.

"Guys, get behind me and stay there" I command and my companions follow the order

I walk to within a hundred feet of Heracles and I notice a helmet sitting on the handle bars of his motorcycle. I let out a feral growl as I grab my canister of mace and have it turn into my spear.

"Heracles, give me the helm and the sword now, or I will have to take them by force" I shout as civilians get out of our way

Heracles rears back his head and lets out a round of laughter.

"You, defeat not only the greatest hero of all time, but also a god of strength? I would pulverize you into a pulp" Heracles boasted

"If your so confidant, let's make a deal. If I win, you give me the helm and the sword, if I lose you can kill me and take my bow" I say and Heracles eyes my bow with a greedy look

"How about, if you win. I give you the helm, and I keep the sword. But if you lose you die and I get your bow" Heracles said and I thought it over

"Deal, now swear on the Styx" I say

"I swear on the river Styx that I will abide by the terms laid out" Heracles and I repeat the oath causing thunder to rumble

Heracles readies the sword and I take a stance with my spear out.

"I am going to enjoy using that bow of yours kid" Heracles announced before he surged forward with incredible speed

Heracles reached me in no time and quickly slashed at my stomach, I barely had time to deflect it, but when I did he slammed his fist into my chest and sent me flying back into the sand with a few cracked ribs.

"You are a fool, no one can beat me! I am Hercules, God of Strength, I killed the Nemean with my bare hands, I killed the Hydra!" Heracles boasted as he walked over and kicked my side causing more of my ribs to crack "I defeated Landon at the Garden of the Hesperides and retrieved a golden apple"

That very comment sparked a memory. A memory that seemed vitally important and what I remembered angered me.

'I will not be beaten by this scum bag. That meeting outside the garden, He had this very sword, that isn't his sword, that is Zoe's' I thought to myself as Heracles kicked me into the water and I looked at the sky and noticed that the sun had set and the moon was rising.

"Annabeth, Grover! Close your eyes!" I yell out as I slowly stand up and I see my companions cover their eyes and look away

"Aww, does the weak, pathetic demigod not want his friends to see him die?" Heracles taunted and I smirk as water ran up my body and started healing me

"You know, it's not nice to steal from people. Especially girls, you probably made her cry when you took her sword. And you know, it's not nice to make a girl cry" I say as I felt power surge through me

Third Person POV:

Percy's eyes flashed silver and a silvery aura surrounded him. Heracles saw this and stumbled back, fear overtaking the god of strength.

"You will regret pissing me off Heracles" Percy said as he brandished his spear and rushed Heracles so fast he left an after image behind

Percy appeared in front of Heracles and thrust his spear through the minor god's shoulder, Percy then jumped up and planted his feet on Heracles' chest and launched off, pulling his spear with him. When Percy landed he looked at Heracles who was holding his bleeding shoulder.

"You will regret that!" Heracles snarled as he brandished Anaklusmos and charged Percy

Percy smirked and threw his spear straight into Heracles' stomach before he ran at the minor god and slid under him. Once Percy was on the other side of Heracles, he pulled his bow off of his back and notched five arrows and pulled the string back. A bright sliver light snaked its way across the bow and arrow until they looked like they were made out of pure silver. Percy let the arrows fly and they all hit their mark, one hit Heracles' manhood, another hit his stomach where the spear was, a third one hit Anaklusmos out of Heracles' hand, and the last two hit Heracles right above the eyes in his forehead causing the minor god to flicker slightly before dissolving into a gold light. Percy ran over and picked his spear up and returned it to canister form, He then held his ring to his lips and whispered into it. In a flash of fire, Phoenix appeared just as Percy's eyes turned back to normal and his aura faded.

Percy's POV:

I stumbled forward, completely exhausted. Phoenix caught me and helped me sit down as Annabeth and Grover ran over. Phoenix saw the sword off to the side and walked over to it before picking it up.

"Who had it Perseus?" Phoenix asked and I scowled

"Heracles had it, as well as Hades' helm, and Zeus' bolt which he planted on us" I explain and Phoenix growls

"Where is he? I need to have a few words with him" Phoenix snarls and I chuckle

"He is currently spending time with Tartarus, sadly I couldn't make him fade but I did kill him. So, it will be a while before he is able to reform" I say proudly and I see the three furies appear out of a shadow

"We will be taking the helm and vehicle back to Lord Hades" the middle fury said and I remembered her as my math teacher

"Alright, Tell Hades I expect him to hold up to his end of the deal" I shout and the furies give me a fanged grin before flying over to the motorcycle and grabbing it and Hades Helm and disappearing in a shadow

"Percy, you just took on a god... and won... you also killed Zeus' son. He is not going to be happy" Annabeth said nervously and Phoenix laughed

"Everyone hates Heracles, including Zeus. Perseus will be fine, and he might gain Hera's favor so that's a plus" Phoenix says as I fall onto my back my limbs screaming at me to stop moving

"Can I get a lift to Olympus? My arms and legs are on strike right now and I don't think I can move" I say and Phoenix laughs

"Sure, come on you two gather round" Annabeth and Grover kneel next to me and put their hands on my shoulders as I hold my bow, Phoenix then puts a hand on my arm and I feel myself turn into flames before cooling down back to my normal self

When I look around I notice that we are in some sort of throne room where I see the Olympians. My eyes scan the room until they lock onto one particular Auburn-haired, silver eyed goddess wearing a silver hunting outfit with a silver bow slung over her shoulder, and the name from my memories finally had a face.

"Arty..." I mutter quietly before my vision goes dark and I feel myself slip into the realm of Morpheus

A/N: Hello my Fellow Demigods and Demigoddesses, I hope you liked the chapter. Yes I know, it finished the quest really quickly but I have a reason for that. I have realized that Percy should be 12 not 11 so I'm going to be adding more content to the story after this quest so he can be the right age when the great prophecy happens. Also, I figured I would speed up the mundane bits of the quest like Crusty's place. I didn't really think that place added much so meh, but I did add the gang members, that was fun. Anyway, that is the content update I am giving out, I plan on starting a new chapter tomorrow and getting it out soon so that way I can be back on track for the quests. But until then, Take Care!
