Percy's POV:

"So, how do you feel?" Phoenix asked and I stared at him

"Like I have three other voices in my head" I deadpanned causing Phoenix and Hestia to laugh

'That's because you do' Delphi said

"That must suck" Hestia said and I shrugged

"Doesn't really matter" I say as I will my armor to disappear "All that matters is that I'm back, and this time, I don't plan on leaving any time soon" I say as Phoenix walks over to me and inspects me

"You look like you did when you were killed, around 18ish" he stated and I smirked

"We should be getting back to camp, they are probably freaking out" I said and Phoenix nodded before he smirked

"Probably" he admits as he puts his hand on my shoulder and flame travels us back to camp where I see Thalia and Zoe on the verge of a nervous breakdown

'By the way, I have been perfecting a new move to help in combat' Iota says and I smile at him internally

'Cool, you should show to me later' I say as Thalia and Zoe spot us and run over and attempt to slap me

I duck under Zoe's hit and block Thalia's. Sadly, Thalia's was electrified so it still shocked me.

"Ouch!" I complain as I notice Heather skip over to Phoenix before planting a kiss on his cheek causing the surrounding campers to go wide eyed

"Welcome back Phoenix, you too Perseus" Heather says happily and I raise an eyebrow

'What has her so happy?' I ask Phoenix telepathically

'Well, she normally finds things out before anyone else so maybe Hestia told her somehow' He responds as I see Rachel race over and my eyes widen

"PERCY!!!" She screeches and I race toward her but drop into a slide to avoid her

'What does she think she is doing!?' Iota complains and I vaguely hear Instinct explain everything to him

"Percy! Where have you been?" I hear Annabeth ask as I eye Rachel warily

"I was called up to Olympus for a meeting" I state as I see Rachel look at me with a face that says, 'I will hug you if it's the last thing I do' and I up my guard

"For four days?!" Luke asks and I notice his arm around Annabeth's shoulders

"Yeah, well, Phoenix had to talk to me, then we went out on a hunting trip for a bit, then took a quick detour before coming back here" I explain further as Connor and Travis run up and start distracting Rachel "Thank you guys"

"No problem Perce!" Connor says and I turn to Annabeth

"Listen Annabeth, as much as I would love explaining myself to you, there are a few things you should know" I say and she raises an eyebrow "First off, it's my life, you don't need to be snooping around in everything I do, Secondly, camp has been tasked with defending Olympus while the Olympians and guardians are out fighting Typhoon" I stated calmly while everyone else froze

"That's why Amber was irritated earlier, she is in charge of the hunters while Lady Artemis is out" Thalia and Zoe frowned

"No, as acting lieutenant I am in charge of the hunt, not Amber" Zoe said and Thalia looked back at Zoe as Bianca ran up

"No, Amber is our Guardian, and that makes it so Amber has control over the hunt" Thalia replied and I noticed Bianca stand next to Thalia and Heather stand next to Zoe as the two hunters started arguing

"Amber will never be the guardian of the hunt! She is just a wannabe who decided to replace our old Guardian!" Zoe snarled and Thalia summoned her spear and I saw it spark with electricity

"And what happened to your old guardian? Got speared through the chest by a weakling monster, Amber already told us how weak the old guardian was. She was trained for eons longer than the old guardian and is of a higher class" Thalia said as she caused lighting to shoot out of her spear and arc towards Zoe

'No!' I thought to myself as I felt Iota use a bit of power and we instantly traveled from our spot to in front of Zoe as I summoned my shield and used it to block the lightning

Dust flew up around us as I heard Thalia gasp.

"Zoe! Are you alright? I am so sorry!" I heard Thalia say as footsteps came closer

I swung my shield out and blew the dust away to reveal myself protecting Zoe, causing Thalia and Bianca to stop in their tracks. That's when I noticed Heather standing directly in front of Zoe to try to take the bolt, as well as Annabeth and Luke running forward only to skid to a stop.

"THAT IS ENOUGH! No more arguing!" I demanded "We are at war with the Titans, and you all are arguing over who a guardian is at the moment?" I ask incredulously

"Perseus, you wouldn't understand" Thalia started but I held up a hand to stop her

"I understand more than you could even fathom" I state "Now, Phoenix and I are in control of the defense of Olympus, so that means if the hunters are helping defend it, then they fall under us" I finish as I will my shield to disappear "From what Phoenix has told me, Amber is new, so she doesn't know the hunt and how it works, that means that Zoe will be the leader of the Hunters due to Seniority" I declare and I sense Zoe smirking "However" I continue as I turn to Zoe "Amber will be free to make choices if they are meant to protect the hunt, do not go against her word if she says something is too dangerous"

'Yeah, if she is cocky enough she might take on a drakon and get demolished' Instinct said and I agreed but ignored him for the moment

"Do I make myself clear?" I ask and I see Zoe's smirk drop as she nodded quickly, I then turned to Thalia and she followed suit

"Crystal" they chorused and I nodded

"Good, now I believe the first plan of action should be to take out the Princess Andromeda" I say as I dust myself off and look at Phoenix "Phoenix, could you get Beckendorf and get him to the meeting room?" I ask and he nods before he flame travels off as I turn to Annabeth "Annabeth, I need the councilors of the cabins present at his meeting" I say and both Luke and Annabeth nod before they run off "You four will need to be there as well" I say without looking at them as I start walking towards the Big House

'Well... that was... interesting' Delphi said and I rolled my eyes mentally

'We cannot afford to have any feuds right now' I replied and I felt Iota, Instinct, and Delphi nod their heads in agreement 'By the way, Iota, was that the move you were practicing?'

'Yeah, I call it Moonlit step, basically, you move at the speed of light for a split second to travel some distance' Iota explains and I nod

'It will be a great help during fights' I say as I walk through the Big house doors and into the break room before sitting at the Poseidon spot while the hunters walk in and all look at the Artemis chair trying to figure out who will sit here

That is, until Amber walks in and sits in the chair and kicks her feet up. My eye twitches slightly as Thalia shrugs and walks over to the Zeus chair and sits down. Soon, the entire room is filled with the other councilors and Phoenix looks at me with a raised eyebrow. I sigh as I stand up and offer my seat to Zoe, who takes it slowly.

"Thank you all for coming" I say and just as I open my mouth to speak again

"Not like we wanted to be here" Amber retorted causing a few snickers to go around the room

"Whatever" I mumble before clearing my throat and looking at everyone "So, as you all might not know, the gods and Guardians of Olympus will not be helping us directly, they have their own battle with Typhoon, so they left Phoenix and myself in charge of defending Olympus" I say and I hear a few outbursts but are quickly silenced by their fellow campers, mainly Luke and Annabeth

"Is that it?" Luke asked and I shook my head

"No, I believe that the first strike we should make against the Titan Army should come in the form of us blowing up the Princess Andromeda" I said and before I could be interrupted "Beckendorf, will you be able to create a few remote detonated explosives?" I ask and Beckendorf nods

"Of course, how many do you need?" Beck ask and I smirk

"As many as you think will take to send that demon cruise ship up in a ball of fire and smoke" I state in a cold tone that causes many to shiver

"What about the rest of us?" I heard Katie Gardner ask and I smile

"I want the Hermes cabin to look over maps with the Athena cabin to find good points to place traps. Ares cabin, you now run the training routine, Apollo cabin, you work on archery, Demeter and Dionysus cabins, try to convince the nature spirits to help defend Olympus" I say as I turn to the Aphrodite Cabin leader "Selina, I know your cabin isn't very combat orientated, but push them alright? And help out where you can" I say and She nods with a smile on her face

"What about you and Phoenix, boy?" Amber said, "I assume you two will be sitting back while you watch everyone die" She stated and everyone turned to me with a frown on their faces

"Actually, I plan on planting the explosives on the ship and detonating them, I plan on being at the forefront of every battle ground I find myself on. If any of you think for a gods damned second that I am a coward, or a traitor, I will rip you to shreds where you stand" I growled out towards Amber who took her feet off of the table and glared at me

"Men don't keep their promises, not a damn one, not even Chaos keeps his promises. So, I call your bluff, you probably are a traitor, sent by Kronos to make sure we do all die in this war. I mean, it makes sense, why fight a war with an extremely strong guardian like myself, the only logical way to win would to have the leader of the resistance be loyal to him" Amber said and everyone glared at me

Suddenly everyone started shouting and started throwing things at me, that's when I snapped. I felt raw power pulse through me as I let out a primal roar.

'"ENOUGH!!"' I said in a double voice as the ground around me shook violently and everyone in the room went ridged '"I am not a traitor, I am loyal to Olympus and my friends, I swear it on the Styx less she claim my soul'" I snarled out as I locked eyes with Amber who fell out of her chair in fear '"I said if someone were to declare me a traitor I would rip them to shreds'" I commented and everyone's eyes widened in fear as I stalked around the table to a fearful Amber

"Get away from me you filth!" She cried out but I let out a feral snarl as I grabbed her neck and lifted her up

'Iota, Instinct, show her the truth' I said in my mind and I noticed Amber's eyes widen

Amber's POV:

I stared into the sea green glowing eyes of Perseus as I felt my mind being forcefully entered.

'You will learn the truth you wannabe' I heard a voice in my head and glanced around and saw the others unable to move

That's when my vision blackened and I was shown an image of a cruise ship infested with monsters and traitorous demigods alike. I whirled around trying to find a way to escape when my eyes landed on a silver figure a few feet away.

"Pay attention Amber, you will only see this once" the figure commanded and I turned back towards the ship to see the pirate kid demanding monsters around "That is but one enemy of a whole army, that is Kronos in Ethan's body. He is our enemy, not the campers, not Perseus" the figure said and I nodded slowly

"How is this the truth?" I asked as I turned back toward the figure to see it facing me and I gasped "You..." I stammered

"Yes, I am the old Guardian of the Hunt, and you taint the title, you and your pompous arrogant attitude!" The Perseus look-a-like growled and I took a step back

"Y-You should be dead!" I shouted and he laughed

"You think a guardian lets something as trivial as death keep them from protecting their charge? You really are pathetic, Beta company's 'finest' my ass" He snarled and I threw a punch at him

He easily caught my fist and twisted it before he pushed me away.

"I got to the top fair and square!" I yelled trying to muster as much confidence as I possibly could

"Right, you bribed your fellow trainees, you cheated your way to the top. Now, heed my warning Amber, start acting like a guardian of this caliber, or you will be swiftly removed from this position, because as it stands, you are only keeping my spot warm. But if you even think of trying to get me killed or anyone else in this camp, then you will learn there are more permanent forms of death in this world" He spat and I looked at him in fear "Now, swear the guardian's oath to never speak of you finding out who I really am, swear that if you should speak a word of this in any way shape or form, you will fade from existence never to have a chance at redeeming yourself" He said as he glared at me and I quickly took the oath causing my blood to grow cold before it warming up again "Good, now that you know the truth, I hope we will be on better terms" he said light heartedly but I could hear the threat loud and clear as if he said it through a mega phone right next to my ear

Suddenly my vision blacked out again and I when I was able to see again, I saw the terrifying sight of Perseus holding my neck, his glowing sea green eyes staring at me. Just then, he dropped me and turned to the Hephaestus kid.

"Beck, when do you think you can have those explosives done?" He asked and I noticed that Zoe, Heather, Luke, Annabeth, Clarisse, and Beckendorf were able to move

"In a weeks' time, I'll get my cabin started on it as soon as possible" he said and Perseus nodded as he walked over to Phoenix

"If you all want to kick me out of camp by the time the war is over, fine, I have other places I could go, but for now, let's just keep Olympus alive" he said emotionlessly as Phoenix put his hand on Perseus' shoulder and they both flame traveled out

'H-He... He's alive...' Was the last thought that went through my mind before I blacked out due to this overwhelming experience
