Third Person POV:

The sound of Percy's roar echoed through the valley. His eyes flashed a bright silver before he charged Kampe. Kampe swung her scimitars at Percy attempting to cut him in two but Percy blocks the attack with his shield. As Percy got close enough to strike, a lion head leaped out of Kampe's torso and attempted to latch onto his right arm.

Percy spun around, avoiding the head as he jumped up and cleaved downwards with Riptide. As Riptide bit into Kampe's skin she let out an ear-piercing howl of pain before attempting to impale Percy with one of her scimitars. However, a faint silver shield prevented the weapon from injuring him.

"Hey Perce dodge!" Shadow yelled as he capped his sword and pulled a card off his belt and swung it to the side summoning a black sword and brandishing it in front of him "Darkness' Wrath!!" Shadow shouted as a beam of pure darkness shot out of the sword and slammed into Kampe who withered in pain

Percy had jumped back just in time and when he landed he stuck riptide into the ground before summoning lunar's light and smirked.

"Shadow! Phoenix! On me!" Percy commanded and Phoenix appeared next to Percy in a flash of flames holding his sword and shield and Shadow appeared out of a swath of shadows "Lets combine some moves, shall we?" Percy said as Kampe struggled to get her footing back

"YOU WILL ALL BURN IN THE FIERY DEPTHS OF TARTARUS!!!!" Kampe snarled and Shadow snickered

Percy raised Lunar's light above him while Phoenix sheathed his sword and shield and summoned superheated flames into the palms of his hands, and Shadow brandished his sword again.

"Phoenix's Fury!!" Phoenix shouted as he launched a beam of condensed fire at Kampe

"Darkness' Wrath!!!" Shadow yelled as another beam of pure darkness shot out of his sword toward Kampe

"Crescent Moon!!" Percy yelled as he slashed down causing Silver energy to appear in the shape of a crescent moon before being launched at Kampe

The three attacks converged into one, causing the silver crescent to turn pitch black as Shadow's attack disappeared, and flames suddenly covered the moon. The flaming black crescent moon slammed into Kampe and sent her flying through the army of monsters. As the attack stopped it exploded and caused several monsters to explode into a fine dust.

"Holy" Percy started

"Shit" Phoenix and Shadow finished in sync

"YOU...!" A weak yet familiar voice shouted "WILL...! ALL...! BURN!!!!!!" Kampe said as she pulled herself up from the wreckage of Zeus' fist

"Lady! You need to Die!!!" Shadow yelled in disbelief as he willed his sword away and pulled out a tomahawk

"She is not a lady, she is a deadly monster that needs a lesson on how to be deadly" Percy comments and Phoenix snickers

Percy willed Lunar's light away as he pulled Riptide out again and uncapped it. Percy then charged Kampe who was behind a legion of monsters. Shadow and Phoenix right behind Percy as they fought their way to the ancient monster.

Shadow swung his tomahawk with a deadly accuracy. Shadow parried a strike from an empousa before he surged forward and thrusted a hidden blade through the monster's throat causing her to burst into a find dust. Shadow then spun out of the way of a flying cannon ball that was thrown by a cannibal giant. The projectile exploded behind Shadow as he extended his left arm and smirked.

"If it gets too hot, let me know" Shadow quipped before he let loose a torrent of hot flames that hit the giant causing him to laugh at first before his laughing turned into screams of pain as Shadow increased the heat of the flames

Suddenly the giant burst into a gold dust and Shadow moved on killing monsters at a pace that rivaled Phoenix's and Percy's.

Phoenix cut and sliced through monsters like a hot knife through butter. Partially because his sword was currently on fire as he decapitated a hellhound. Once the hound burst into dust Phoenix flipped over Percy and stabbed a Telekhine in the eyes causing it to burst into dust. Phoenix then made a vicious slash through the air and willed the fire on his blade to fly out and burn any monster that was in its path.

Percy blocked a swipe from an empousa before he vaulted over the demon and spun around quickly cutting her spine in two. Percy then held his shield up behind him without looking and a cannon ball exploded on the face of the shield but the force of the impact didn't even scratch the shield nor did it push Percy back. Percy lunged forward and buried Riptide deep into a giant's chest before flipping away and landing on his feet where he held Riptide straight up and two water serpents burst out of the creek nearby and flew to him.

"Rule one, NEVER. MESS. WITH. MY. CAMP. EVER!!!!!" Percy snarled as the two watery serpents surged forward and sunk their teeth into monsters causing them to burst into dust as Percy continued his slaughter.

Shane's POV:

I watched in awe as the tide of battle was being turned in our favor. Phoenix, Perseus, and that new guy Shadow tore through the enemy forces like it was a training session. They had most of the battle under control while the hunters, pirates, and campers took out the stragglers.

"Remind me to NEVER get on their bad side please" I heard Annabeth mutter from beside me

"Noted" I responded as the Trio finally made it to Kampe who was, surprisingly the very last monster

Percy's POV:

"So Kampe, looks like there are no reinforcements coming. Any last words" I said as I held Riptide in my hand comfortably

"Go to Tartarus half-breed Scum!" Kampe roared as she tried to swing her scimitars at me but I held my shield up and blocked both weapons and lunged forward and Riptide sank into Kampe's flesh causing her to sputter before she slowly dissolved into dust

"Nah, I think you deserve the trip much more than I do" I commented to the dust and Shadow looked at me

"Thanks for the battle Lunar, it gave me something to do while I wait for Umbra to return" Shadow said as he held out his free hand and I willed my shield away as I took his hand and shook it

"Anytime my friend, good luck with everything and don't forget your motorcycle" I responded with a smile

"I won't and here of you need any more help" Shadow said as he grabbed a black card from his belt and handed it to me

"Thanks, and you still have the coin, right?" I ask as I take the card and put it in my pocket

"Of course, how could I not?" Shadow said with a chuckle "Catch ya later" Shadow finished as he dropped into a shadow and disappeared

I quickly looked toward the motorcycles and saw Shadow's drop into a shadow and disappear, causing me to smile. I looked at my watch and saw that it was now silver instead of the bronze it was and I tapped it trying to summon the shield Tyson made for me but I was astounded as my original shield extended out of the watch.

"Well, that's interesting, the shield must have fused with Tyson's making it extra strong." I muttered under my breath as I turned to the whole camp and smiled

Until Amber stormed up to me of course. When I saw the strawberry blond march up to me I narrowed my eyes.

"Give me back my shield filth!" Amber demanded and I laughed humorously

"Nah, you don't deserve it" I said as I felt time slow down for a moment as I remembered the days leading up to the battle against the giants

I pushed the flashback away so I didn't blank out during this important moment where I knew that if given the chance, Amber would steal back the shield. Once time returned to normal I looked at Amber with a cold gaze.

"How about this, we fist fight for it, whoever wins gets to keep the shield" Amber compromised and I smirked and nodded

I willed the shield back into a watch which I then gave to Phoenix. I then looked at Phoenix who chuckled and snapped his fingers and I cloaked my outfit making it appear that Phoenix changed my clothes. I took off all my weapons and handed them to Phoenix as Amber took of her weapons and handed them to Thalia who held them easily while Phoenix was nearly buried.

'Instinct, what's the probability of us winning?' I ask mentally and I hear two voices laughing

'You're joking, right? Please tell me you don't actually think we're going to lose to her with two other sets of eyes looking out for you right?' Instinct responded and I chuckled mentally

'You're destined to win Percy' Delphi said and I nodded mentally

"You ready to give me my shield male?" Amber growled and I laughed again as we started to circle each other

"Woah, when did you get a tattoo Percy?" I heard Luke ask and I motioned Amber to wait as I turned and looked at Luke

"What?" I asked

"You have a tattoo of a crescent moon on your left shoulder blade" Luke explained and I shrugged as I turned back to Amber who had gotten impatient and was already throwing a punch at my face

I swatted the punch away before surging forward and landing a solid hit on her solar plexus. As she hunched over I brought my knee into her nose causing blood to splatter everywhere. I hung back as Amber got her bearings and she charged me.

Amber threw an obvious feint to my left and I blocked the incoming right hook. I then sent a Sparta kick her way knocking her back. She stumbled back, but I left no room for her to recover as I sprinted forward and leapt into the air and descended on her like an assassin as I landed a hard-right punch to her head causing her to try to stumble back but I dropped into a roll and as soon as I got to my feet, I planted my hand on the ground before sweeping my legs around in a circle causing Amber to lose her balance and fall on her back. I stood up and took a fighting stance.

"Come on, put 'em up show me what you got, I wanna see how you rock, if your great or not, wanna take my spot? Better train to box, I put the game on lock, and my reign won't stop!" I say to Amber who unsteadily gets up and raises her hands before trying to charge me

As soon as Amber gets close I duck under a punch before slamming my right fist into her sternum as hard as I can, causing Amber to fly back and slide on the ground unconscious.

I shake my head as I will my clothing to reappear as Phoenix gives me my weapons back. After I put everything on I made my way over to Amber who now conscious.

"My shield, not yours" I stated simply as I turned around and started to walk away

I ignored the looks of awe and admiration from the campers as I made my way toward my cabin where I promptly walked in and landed face first on the bed and sighed in contentment ignoring the sudden earthquake as it didn't affect my cabin as I drifted off into a peaceful sleep and dreamed about Artemis.

A/N: Yes, I know, I'm a horrible author as I have put out another short af chapter. I promise that they will be longer soon. The only reason this one is so short is because I don't want to start the next book in this one as that would be rushing things a little too quickly.
