Artemis' POV:

I regarded the male in front of me with a curious expression. Perseus Jackson, he was an enigma in and of himself. He defeated Heracles, sneak away from my hunters undetected, befriend Romans without any trouble, befriended the Nemean lion, Defied fate to protect my hunters Zoe and Bianca, Held the sky, and most impressive of all, he befriended Zoe who, after Percy died, never trusted any male whatsoever. My eyes scanned his face, from his sea swept unruly black hair to his vibrant, sea green eyes that showed a small amount of fear but also a hidden mischievousness that reminded me so much of my guardian.

"S-so, lady Artemis, why did you want to dance with a male like me?" Perseus asked as a slow song came on and I almost laughed when I saw a hint of displeasure in his eyes but I kept a straight face

"I want to figure you out 'boy', why is it that you are afraid of me when I have no intention of killing or cause harm to you, but you can face a 200ft tall giant robot with a smile on your face?" I question and I see his mind working overtime "Or how facing a Titan when you're physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted doesn't deter you." I finished as he put his hands on my waist careful to not move them any lower, I responded with putting my hands on his shoulders as we started dancing

Instinct's POV:

'Fuck, this is dangerous territory' I thought to myself as I moved my sore body

Percy was unconscious so I used the trick we used in English Class where I took over his body. I thought over me and Percy's actions to warrant this situation.

"I guess I fear your reputation..." I say quietly and I notice she is staring straight into my eyes "And I don't make promises I don't intend to keep" I say smartly

"You're different than most males, but there is something, more to you" She declares and I take a deep breath "The fact that you had your life thread cut and you're still alive says volumes of how powerful you are" She finishes

"I'm not powerful, I just do what I have to do to keep my friends, family, and those I love safe" I say quietly as I stare into the beautiful silver eyes that I fell in love with so long ago and it took all my willpower to not lean forward and kiss Artemis right there and then

"Well, be careful, your fatal flaw appears to be Personal Loyalty" Artemis said and I smirk internally

"I guess it is. I can be pretty stupid when it comes to protecting those I care about" I say truthfully as the slow song ends and a slightly faster one starts

I move my hands to a more comfortable position before we start dancing.

"If you don't be careful, you could either sacrifice the world for that one person, or sacrifice yourself for that person, and I'm pretty sure whoever you're dating at that moment or in the future wouldn't like that" Artemis says and I smile as I grab her hand and twirl her before dropping her into a dip which I pull her out of quickly but staying in rhythm with the song

"I don't have any plans on dating anyone except the 'one'" I say with a small smile

"So, you aren't going to let your teenage hormones get the better of you" Artemis said and I shake my head

'I would die before I dated anyone else other than Arty' I think to myself and I feel Percy agree in his unconscious state

"You really are one of a ki..." Artemis beings but is cut off by a scream of pain and I instantly let go of her form and draw Riptide and uncap it causing the sword to extend and gleam in the light of Olympus

I scan the room to see Heracles holding a dagger to Zoe's neck and slowly backing away. Phoenix has his sword out but doesn't do anything for fear of Zoe being injured by the pile of filth

"Give me the sword Demigod or the girl gets it!" Heracles growls and I narrow my eyes

"Remember Artemis, for you and your hunters" I say quietly as I look at the goddess with a smile "I'll Fight" I say as I sprint towards Heracles who drops Zoe in slight shock

I summon my battered and dented shield as I near the minor god who recovered from his shock and took a stance to try and stop me. I kept sprinting and put my shield in front of me as I jumped a small amount. When I landed I bent my knees and angled myself at Heracles before launching off the ground at an incredible speed. I slammed into Heracles and we both went flying off the edge of Olympus.

Artemis' POV:

I stood in place, as I watched Perseus tackled Heracles off Olympus.

I wasn't stunned at Heracles idiocy for attacking my huntress, I was angry at that. I was stunned because I remembered that Phrase as one that Percy sang to me when we shared the sky.

"Percy!" I heard Thalia scream as she ran to the edge of Olympus and looked over in fear but then scrambled back

I shook myself from the shock and ran over to Thalia who was crying slightly, Phoenix was checking Zoe over for any wounds while Justice did the same.

"There's no way he survived that fall" I heard a female voice say from beside me and I looked over to see Annabeth "if there was water at the bottom probably but that's just solid ground"

I kept watching and I saw a small cloud of dust appear and I knew that the two males had hit the ground, and I had a suspicion that Perseus hit first.

Instinct's POV:

As we started to fall, Heracles threw a punch at my face which I dodged easily. I slashed at his legs and opened a few nice gashes before he kicked me into the side of the Empire State Building. I retracted my shield as an idea came to mind.

"You should have just given me the sword Idiot!" Heracles yelled as he came towards me and I smirked before I let out a loud whistle "That will do you no good brat!" with that Heracles grabbed my shoulders and positioned me under him so I would hit first "Too bad you had to die today, you were just getting to Dance with that Bitch Artemis"

I snapped but didn't let it show as I smirked. I felt that we were nearing the ground and Heracles thought he had won already.

"You know, when you're falling through the air, weight doesn't matter" I say suddenly which causes the idiot to be confused "you want to know what does matter? Air Resistance, and since you're a fucking airhead" I say as I extend my left arm to the side and have my watch facing up "I have more air resistance than you do" I activate my shield and suddenly our position is flipped where I'm above Heracles just as we hit the ground

When the dust clears, I notice I'm laying a few feet away from a crater. I stand up shakily, look down to see my suit was in perfect condition still before I stumble over and see a broken Heracles but I let out a feral growl as I put Riptide's point at Heracles manhood.

"You don't deserve this" I growl as I castrate Heracles "And this time I will make sure you fade" I spit out as I slam Riptide through Heracles' heart "I call upon the power of the Hunter, I call on this power to rid the world of this vile male, rip his essence from his form, extract his strength and give it to me, and destroy this being once and for all!" I chant and suddenly I feel a massive power boost but I ignore it as I watch Heracles' form flicker before it completely fades from sight

I look down and notice that I have taken on the form of an overly buff body builder and I scowl in disgust. I roll up my sleeve before I take Riptide and make a small cut on my arm causing blood to leak out.

"I sacrifice this power of strength to the Goddess of the Hunt, Artemis" I chant quietly and I smile as my body turns to its normal swimmers build

Satisfied, I cap riptide and put it in my pocket as my shield disappears. I then roll my sleeve back down after cleaning up the cut I made and walk to the front of the empire state building and see the man at the counter reading something on his phone. I walk up to him and knock on the desk.

"Excuse me, but can I have the key to the 600th floor" I ask tiredly and the man looks at me and rolls his eyes

"Why don't you..." He starts and I sigh as I manipulate his blood stream and force him to give me the key

"Thank you" I say as I take the key and release my control over his blood

Artemis' POV:

The mood in the throne room was depressing as we all thought of Perseus Jackson dying. It was at that moment when I felt a huge power boost and I noticed everyone was staring at me.

"What?" I asked curiously and Aphrodite rolled her eyes "Oh don't you do that you bitch" I growl at Aphrodite

"Sis, it's just your glowing" Apollo said confused and I looked down to notice that I was in fact glowing a bright silver

"What's happening?" I ask as the throne room doors open and we all look towards the person who dared interrupt a council meeting but everyone was struck speechless as the one person we didn't think to see again strolled up causally

"Sorry, I had to take out the trash, what did I miss?" Perseus Jackson asked with his signature smirk on his face
