Percy's POV:

Over the next few hours we rode in relative silence, if you ignored the long stream of curses that Arion was yelling at me as he ran. I struck up a conversation with Instinct and Iota about who we were facing and Iota suggested it was another giant, perhaps one that was related to death. Instinct agreed and gave a list of names which consisted of Thoon and Alcyoneus. We agreed on Alcyoneus since Thoon wouldn't have captured Thanatos. Before I knew it, I felt my connection to the moon lessen ever so slightly and I knew we were in Alaska. I heard Frank give a shout of victory and I turned around to see a bird where Frank used to be. Suddenly the bird shifted back into Frank and I smirked.

"Found out what your ability was Frank?" I asked and he nodded with a smiled

"Yeah, after some thinking, I figured it out then put it to action" Frank said and Hazel smiled as she held his arm

'Heads up, I feel a power increase to the north west slightly' Iota said

'Instinct, can I get a birds eye view please?' I asked and Instinct disappeared and I saw a large mass that I recognized as North America 'Iota, can you pin point the location of the energy?' Iota nodded mentally and I saw the vision gain a small square before instinct zoomed in until we were looking at a large glacier

I focused back on my surroundings and steered Arion towards our destination. We continued for another few hours before I saw that we were heading straight towards a large wall of ice. As we got closer I saw a large chunk of ice break off and Arion ran under it before racing up the wall of ice like it was nothing. We stopped when we reached the top and I saw a chained figure in the distance. I sprinted toward the figure making sure to jump the gaps in the ice.

"Thanatos" I said as I reached the figure and he looked up and his hood fell off

"You sound familiar..." Thanatos said and I smirked as I pushed my hood down and stared at the god of death in the face "Percy?"

"The one and only Thanatos" I said and he smiled

"I see you found a way to get out of the Isles of the blessed" Thanatos said and I laughed and nodded as Frank, Hazel and Arion ran up "I don't suppose you have a way to get me free do you?"

"Rule one, always come prepared" I said as I summoned Lunar's Light and swung at the chains while channeling energy into the blade

The chains broke easily as the Aieon cut through it like a hot knife through butter. I smiled as I willed the blade away and Thanatos stood up and smiled.

"So, the pesky demigods have found a way to free death? Interesting" a voice boomed and I heard the sounds of a marching army coming toward us

I turned and saw a large army of shades coming our way with a large humanoid with reptile feet making his way to me.

"Alcyoneus, how nice of you to show your ugly ass face" I spat with a smirk as Alcyoneus growled at the insult "Thanatos, you mind?" I asked and he smiled

"I will help since he captured me and I want some revenge" He said as he spread his wings before having them disappear and pulled out a sword

"Frank, Hazel, and Arion you work with Thanatos and get big and ugly over there into to Canada" I said and I spotted a glint of gold "I'm going treasure hunting"

"You can't take on that many enemies" Hazel said and Thanatos chuckled

"Percy can do much more than he leads on" He said and I nodded as I pulled Riptide out and summoned my shield

I charged the large mass of shades as Thanatos and Arion charged Alcyoneus. I reached the first shade and thrust Riptide through its torso before spinning past it and deflecting a spear thrust. I then swung Riptide through the neck of another shade as I made my way toward an imperial gold eagle that was being held by a shade that had a lion's pelt on.

"You're mine" I said as I leapt at a shade who raised it's shield and I planted my foot on it and launched into the air

I used the air time to put my hood up and let out a low growl as I landed on another shade and stabbed Riptide through its head. I rolled forward and grabbed a pistol from my holster and quickly fired it as I deflected a sword strike. I put the pistol back before ducking under a spear swipe, after that I jumped over a thrust and cut the weapon in half before dispatching of the soul. I continued to hack, slash, duck and dodge and occasionally throw one of my throwing knives or use my hidden blades to kill a shade. After a few minutes of constant fighting I found myself in front of the standard bearer and I quickly cut it in half before grabbing the standard with my left hand and started fighting again.

"How the hell am I supposed to use this thing!?" I growled to myself as I slashed through a shade and slid under another one before slamming the standard into the ground to use as a pivot point when suddenly tendrils of electricity shot out and vaporized a large portion of shades "That's how? Really?" I yelled in disbelief as I bend backwards as a pilum shot over me

I straightened up before stabbing Riptide through several more shades. It was then I caught sight of the fight against Alcyoneus. In short terms, it wasn't going well, Alcyoneus was too strong for Frank and Hazel. Alcyoneus swung the shaft of his spear and knocked Hazel off of Arion and I growled as I killed a few more shades.

"I will kill you, your friends, capture Thanatos again. Then no one will help your stupid little camp or that moon goddess, Polybotes will march on that camp and capture her then give her to my brother Gration as a gift, especially now her pesky pet is dead" Alcyoneus declared as he stood over Hazel and hefted his spear up "She will be a great mother to his kids I'm sure" he finished and the temperature dropped as I felt Instinct and Iota merge with me

I snapped.

Frank's POV:

I watched helplessly as Alcyoneus held his spear over Hazel and was talking. I hardly had enough energy to lift a finger after changing into several different animals. I was stunned to hear that they wanted to capture Artemis and give her to one of their brothers as a gift. It was at that point the temperature dropped and I looked over to where Percy was and gulped. His eyes glowed a dark crimson red and was surrounded by a sea green and silver aura that melted the ice around him.

"NO ONE, WILL TOUCH MY CHARGE!!!" Percy roared in anger before he put his bronze sword away and summoned his silver one

However, the pure silver blade was now crimson red like his eyes and it pulsed with a vengeful power.

"You are nothing!" Alcyoneus boasted but was unprepared for Percy to sprint forward and disappear only to reappear on his chest and extend his foot and kick Alcyoneus away from Hazel

"I AM THE GUARDIAN OF THE MOON, PROTECTER OF THE HUNT, THE HUNTER OF ALL PREY, I AM THE APEX PREDATOR!!!" Percy roared as he surged forward again and again disappeared only to reappear next to the giant

Percy swung his blade through the giant's flesh and jumped back before the giant crashed to the ground. I knew his wound would heal but the fact that Percy made the giant drop in two attacks was astonishing.

Alcyoneus swung his spear at Percy but the latter raised his shield and completely stopped the attack. Percy then swung his crescent blade and cut the spear in half. Percy then leapt into the air and descended onto the giant's face and punched him so hard I thought he would die from his face being imploded. However, the giant's skull proved to be harder than ice so it only broke the frozen surface.

"Let's get you to Canada you fucker" Percy growled before grabbing Alcyoneus' hair and, with strength that I thought only a god could have, pulled the giant along at a decent speed before Airon, Hazel and I made it to him

"Percy let us help" Hazel said and Arion grabbed the giant's hair by his teeth and sprinted forward while Percy and I jumped onto the giant's body

Percy started unloaded vicious punches into the giant's face.

"YOU" Percy punched "WILL" he threw his fist into the giant's face again "NOT" and again "TOUCH" and again "ARTEMIS!" Percy finished as he threw a punch so hard that the giant's jaw broke but Percy was far from finished

He grabbed the giant's jaw and let out another vengeful roar and ripped the giant's jaw from his body and threw it away. As soon as we passed the border into Canada I saw Alcyoneus' skin lose its luster before it crumbled into gems. Percy turned toward us, his eyes still crimson red.

"We need to get weapons for the legion, there are a lot back where the shades were. I'll meet you there" He said before he turned toward the direction we came from and sprinted forward only to have the world around him warp and he disappeared

"That was fast" I commented but Hazel sighed

"That is teleportation frank, it's like flashing, no one is faster than Arion" Hazel said and I sighed as I jumped onto the super horse before Arion zoomed toward the fort where we found Percy picking up imperial gold weapons and putting them in a chariot

"Here" Percy said as he tossed three large imperial gold broad swords that were bent beyond repair at us "High octane fuel for Arion" He finished and his eyes were glowing a dangerous silver now but the sight still set me on edge

We quickly hooked Arion up to the chariot as he was eating but I noticed that there was only enough room for one person in the chariot.

"Percy how are you going to get back?" I asked and he smiled, something that would normally be reassuring now looked deadly as his smile held no warmth in any shape or form

"I'll run, you get a head start, and here take this" Percy said as he handed me the standard "Now Go!" he commanded and I jumped into the Chariot and Arion shot forward off of the glacier and we started toward Camp Jupiter

Percy's POV:

Once they were out of sight, I calmed myself as I called upon my power.

"Percy" Thanatos said as he appeared and I looked at him "Good Luck" He said and I nodded as he flashed away

"I call upon the power of the Hunter, with this power let me protect my charge, allow me to vanquish my enemies and hunt down my prey" I chanted before I looked up and saw the hunter constellation flash causing me to smile

I then felt a rush of energy as I turned south and started sprinting before using my full guardian speed and I saw the world around me elongate and I shot off the glacier at an extreme speed. In a matter of minutes, I saw Arion running at full speed and I was quickly gaining on him. Once I was up next to him, they all looked at me and Frank and Hazel's mouths dropped open while Arion was silent.

"Bitch" was all I said before pushing myself and pulling ahead

'I'm coming Arty'

Artemis' POV:

"WHERE IS HE!" I yelled as I shot another volley of arrows at monsters who got too close to my hunters

The battle has been going on for several hours and only recently the monsters have been staying dead. I looked over the battle field and sighed, the cohorts were being pushed back by the monster army and the fifth cohort was scattered instantly. Just as I was about to shoot another volley a hellhound grabbed my leg and shadow traveled me to the enemy's side where I found myself at the foot of the Giant Polybotes.

"My brother Gration will be happy to see his wife only suffered minor injuries to her legs" Polybotes said as he picked me up in his hand and held me firm

"Go to Tartarus filth!" I spat but was becoming increasingly worried as I noticed the ground openening up beneath him

"No, I think my brother wants to see you, he has a lovely evening planned moon goddess" Polybotes said lecherously and my eyes widened with fear and Polybotes laughed

"Where's your little guardian?" He mocked not expecting an answer

"RIGHT HERE YOU ASSHOLE!!!" A familiar and reassuring voice roared out as Polybotes' arm suddenly dropped to the ground and I rolled free of its grasp

Suddenly, dust covered us but was blown away to reveal Percy wielding Lunar's light.

"NO. ONE. TOUCHES. HER!!!" Percy roared out as I grabbed his shoulder and flashed us behind the roman lines

I quickly brought Percy into a kiss that he melted into and returned.

"Thank you, Percy" I said lovingly as I held my guardian close and I could feel him calming down

"Anything for you Moonbeam" Percy said and I looked into his eyes and smiled "But I now have a battle to fight, so if you would excuse me milady, I am going to rally the soldiers"

"How do you plan on doing that?" I asked as I held Percy close

"The only way I know how" He said with a smirk before his eyes glowed a blood red "I'm going to tear that giant to shreds for laying a hand on you" He said seriously and I smiled

"Do it" I commanded and he smiled viciously

"With pleasure" he responded before he walked to the front lines and created a massive earthquake

"ROMANS!" Percy's voice boomed like a loudspeaker "This enemy threatens your very way of life!" He said as the cohorts tightened their ranks as the monsters pulled back to regroup "Will you let the likes of them break into your homes? Destroy your families? Destroy your History?!" Percy called out

"NEVER" The legion responded in unison

"THEN WHY IS IT THAT WHEN I CAME HERE I SAW YOU PUSHED UP AGAINST YOUR OWN WALLS?" Percy growled and I saw the hunters look at Percy in slight fear "WHO ARE YOU!" Percy yelled

"THE WORLDS GREATEST FIGHTING FORCE!" The roman legion responded loudly

"I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" He responded as his eyes pulsed with power "WHO ARE YOU!!!" Percy yelled again

"THE WORLDS GREATEST FIGHTING FORCE!!!" The legion yelled and I could tell they were antsy to get back into the fight

"WILL YOU LET THIS ENEMY DEFEAT YOU?" Percy asked

"NO!" The roman army which included all five cohorts, lares, and veterans yelled and Percy smirked

"THEN FORM RANKS, DO NOT BREAK THEM, AND SHOW THIS PETTY ARMY WHO THEY MESSED WITH!!" Percy shouted and the legion fixed their ranks, including the fifth cohort who looked at Percy in awe as a horse with a golden chariot pulled up "And I suppose that since Christmas is around the corner, I should play Santa" Percy said as he pulled weapons out and handed them to the romans who needed them the most

After a few minutes everyone had new weapons and Dakota was holding the standard proudly after he dropped his flask of Kool-Aid. Percy then turned to the enemy who was preparing to charge.

"When I say for Rome, you say for Olympus" Percy said over his shoulder "FOR ROME!"

"FOR OLYMPUS!" The legion shouted

"CHARGE!" Percy said as he sprinted forward and the entire roman legion, without braking formation, followed behind him

Percy's POV:

I ran straight at Polybotes. I leapt onto a monster's helmet and launched into the air as I brandished Lunar's light and Polybotes raised his trident with his good arm and thrusted toward me. I spun while in the air and deflected the large trident before landing and sprinting up to the Giant. I jumped to the side as the large trident impacted the place where I just was and I made it to the giant. I leapt forward and swung Lunar's light at his knee cap cutting it in half.

"YOU WILL SUFFER" Polybotes roared in anger as he thrusted his Trident at my chest

I dodged and willed Lunar's light away and summoned my own Trident and aimed it at Polybotes.

"Hey Asshat!" I yelled and Polybotes glared at me "Suck it" I growled as I channeled my energy into the trident and a silver beam shot out and slammed into Polybotes, throwing him back and onto a pile of monsters

I leapt into the air and landed on the giant's chest and thrusted my trident into his chest before firing another beam of energy causing him to scream in pain.

"You. Will. Die..." Polybotes panted as I jumped off and landed a few feet away from him

"News flash dumbass, I am not going anywhere anytime soon" I growled as I thrust my trident into this temple and fired another beam of energy into his brain and kept the beam going until it flew out the other side of his head

Just then, a silver arrow hit Polybotes in the manhood and he burst into dust. I looked around and saw enough monsters to over run the legion and I was about to use more energy when I heard a horn blow and I looked around and saw weaponized forklifts drive over the hill and I saw a familiar face on the back of the lead one, and I smiled.

"Sorry were late!" Hylla yelled as he passed by and I grappled on and willed my weapons away before I grabbed my bow and started shooting arrows at monsters

"Nah, your just in time" I said and Hylla smirked

"That bitch tried to kill me twice, she failed, and after the third fight, Thanatos came and dragged her away" Hylla said and I smirked

"Hylla twice kill eh?" I asked and she laughed and nodded

Over the next few hours we picked off the remaining monster army, it was tough but we were lucky since Thanatos decided to be a nice guy and not take any of the demigods that were supposed to be killed. After the battle, I hopped off of the forklift and was immediately swarmed and hoisted onto the shoulders of the legion.

"Praetor, Praetor, Praetor" They chanted as I saw Frank and Hazel be lifted up but not being chanted for

I then saw Reyna limp over with a pair of crutches and I sighed when I looked at her but she shook her head.

"PERCY JACKSON!" A familiar voice yelled and I looked over to see Artemis smiling at me and I forced myself down and walked over to her as the others followed

"Yes, Lady Artemis?" I asked and she surged forward and kissed me forcefully causing everyone to go silent until the fifth cohort let out a series of wolf whistles which caused the rest of the Legion to do the same

"I love you Percy" She said and I smiled

"I love you too Moonbeam"
