Percy's POV:

As soon as I said the word, the cannons of the Queen Ann's Revenge all fired simultaneously. Not a moment later the Dutchman returned fire and I saw the crew of the infamous ghost ship preparing to board the Revenge.

"Don't let them get Calypso!" I ordered as I grabbed a rope and jumped off the ship and swung over to the Dutchman about half the crew following my lead

I landed with a roll but had to quickly side step as a cutlass almost cut me clean in half. I growled before returning the strike with my own cutlass. My blade cut deep into the skeleton's sternum but it did little to hinder the monster. The skeleton gave me a boney smile and attempted to thrust forward but a silver arrow pierced its skull causing it to burst into flames and turn to ash. I whirled around and saw Instinct with our bow and smiled.

'Couldn't let you have all the glory, now can I? Anyway, stay focused, ill cover you from here but I stay near the Moonlace to keep the magic up.' Instinct said as he fired another arrow to incapacitate a skeleton that Edward was fighting near the entrance to the cabin Calypso was in

I sent a mental thank you before turning and cutting the head off another skeleton. I heard a gunshot and felt a bullet graze my shoulder. I turned and saw a group of Anemoi Thuellai and charged them. As I crossed blades with the first one I saw him smile and his teeth were so white I thought he should have a warning label on them that said 'Warning May Cause Permanent Blindness'.

As we pulled back, I noticed the winds and waves become more Chaotic. I pushed those thoughts away as I clashed with the storm spirit again. I slashed at his legs but it was quickly blocked and I suddenly felt a trillion volts of electricity travel through my body and it sent me flying back until I hit a wooden railing. I looked at the spirits and saw their fingers crackling with electricity. I stood up, my body still twitching from the lighting.

"How are you still alive?" The storm spirit asked with a stunned voice

"I made a promise to the one I love. That promise was to come back to her no matter what. And I intend to keep that promise" I growled out as the storm around the two ships increased.

I heard the continuous firing of cannons from both ships and was vaguely aware of Instinct firing arrows where he could to protect Edward and or myself.

"Whatever you're a weakling compared to the Dutchman and her crew! Hades, even the captain is stronger than your entire ship!" The spirit said as he raised his hand and shot another bolt of lighting

I raised my cutlass to meet the bolt and when the two connected I grit my teeth as I felt more electricity enter my system. I shook my head and charged the spirit who was shocked that I kept moving.

"You know, you would think I was the one who shot the lightning because you're the one looking shocked!" I shouted as leapt forward and thrusted my blade into the spirits chest causing him to sputter and explode into dust "Who's next?" I said as the remaining spirits charged me

I surged forward and got inside another's guard and shoved my left hand forward before extending my hidden blade which easily cut through the spirit. I slashed out and continued the motion as I blocked a strike to my left. I countered quickly but cutting off the spirits arm when a silver arrow protruded from its chest turning it to dust.

"Percy!" I heard Edward yell and I turned to see a flintlock pistol flying through the air

I caught it and turned quickly, aiming it at the remaining spirits and fired. A celestial bronze musket-ball flew out and traveled through the remaining two spirits who were in single file. I then noticed the hammer on the gun slowly moving back on its own as I retraced my hidden blade.

"It reloads itself, it just takes the normal amount of time as if you were reloading it manually" Edward said as he swung his cutlass into a sharkman's head, killing it instantly.

"Thanks, my friend!" I shouted as I noticed the captain smiling cruelly at the battle 'I'm going to take on fugly over there" I said and Edward smirked and nodded

I fought my way over to the captain who seemed to be in relatively good shape. He was missing an eye and his left arm was all bone, but other than that he seemed normal.

"Ahhh Perseus Jackson, are you here to tell me to surrender?" he asked honestly

"No, I'm here to kill you. We both know that in order to escape the Dutchman you either have to out run her, or kill her captain. And we both know that we couldn't out run you." I say coldly as the wind increased and tried to blow my hood down

"You are very informed, so I assume it's the usual barter of 'If you win, my crew lets you go in peace with the girl and if I win I kill you and your entire crew and then take the girl back to her island' correct?" He asks as I walk up to the main deck and I smirk

"No" He looks at me curiously "If I win, the blessings of your ship go to either the Queen Ann's Revenge or my soon to be build ship the 'Moon's Horizon' then your crew lets us leave in peace after we take all of your gold. If you win, you can kill me and the crew, take Calypso back to her island take my weaponry and be known as the one who killed the Guardian of the Moon" I say and the captain looks at me with an amused smile

"I agree to your terms Perseus, by the way, the name's Davy Jones" Davy said and I smirked as thunder boomed so loud that it caused the fighting on both ships to stop and watch

I smirked as I held onto my cutlass and pistol and Davy pulled out his cutlass which was made out celestial bronze.

"May the best Pirate win" I said and we both surged forward

Third Person POV:

Percy and Davy locked blades instantly, Davy sent a kick to Percy's knee but he jumped back and raised his pistol and fired. Davy dodged and leapt forward swinging at Percy's neck, Percy parried the strike and Sparta kicked Jones back before launching into a purely offensive stance. Percy swung viciously at Jones, his strikes quick, powerful, and precise.

Jones backs up slightly stunned at the demigod in front of him but smirked. Jones then countered Percy's movements perfectly. Jones parried a thrust from Percy and swung his left fist at Percy's face. The hit connected and Percy stumbled back, his lip bleeding slightly.

Percy threw his hood down, revealing his face and his busted lip.

"Nice hit Jones" Percy said amused "But it did little to hinder me" he finished in a dark tone as his eyes flickered with a silver light before flashing a bright sliver and glowing dangerously

"Replaced, Worthless, Inferior" A booming voice echoed in the air and Percy's eyes turned blood red

The seas around the ships responded to the Demigod's emotions, the winds doing the same and Percy let out a pure primal roar that made even Davy Jones shiver at the amount of anger, and surprisingly sadness behind it. Percy charged Jones and swung violently at him.

Jones barely had time to block the attack and when he did, his cutlass bent under the strength of the attack. Jones stumbled back in fear as he regarded the kid in front of him.

Percy didn't give any breathing room for Jones as he surged forward, and unleashed a flurry of strikes, all of which connected as Jones had no time to defend. Soon Jones was on his knees and his cutlass in two pieces. Percy put his cutlass under Jones' neck and the undead captain gulped.

Percy's POV:

I stared at Jones as he gulped.

"I give the blessings of the big three to Perseus Jackson's ship" Jones announced and the entire crew of the Dutchman exploded into dust

"You fought well Jones, but next time remember that a guardian will almost always win when faced with a situation like this one, we are very competitive" I advised and Jones nodded as I pulled my sword to my side and swung, quickly cutting Jones' head off "May Hades allow you to sail the seas of the underworld" I chant and I quickly turn around as I notice the floorboards of the ship rotting away "EVERYONE! BACK TO THE QUEEN ANN'S REVENGE!!!" I order and everyone races to the edge of the Dutchman before they either swing over to the Revenge

I leap down and sheathe my cutlass and grab a rope as Edward appears next to me and we both swing over to the Revenge. As soon as we landed on the deck I spun around and saw what remained of the Dutchman rot away and sink below the waves. However, the storm above us remained and I smirked.

"I guess since my ship isn't built yet, the Queen Ann's Revenge has the Blessing of the big three" I reason and Edward chuckles

"Alright, either way we need to get moving" Edward says as we both make our way to the main deck where I take hold of the wheel and will the storm to clear up just enough for us to proceed without the huge waves finishing off the ship

Edward looks over the crew who seem to be taking a rest and he chuckles.

"I'll take care of the ship for now, but in an hours' time the crew will be working" I say and I notice Calypso walk onto the main deck and she is smiling

"Aye" Edward says before he turns to the crew "All hands! Hoist the Colors! Raise the Black!" The Crew Cheers as they suddenly raise a black flag with a skull and crossbones but instead of bones one was a bolt of lightning and the other was a trident, and in the top left corner was a silver moon

"I think it fits Edward" I say simply as a gust of wind fills our main sail and we keep traveling "We're almost free"

"I think the first thing I'm going to do when I get out is have something called a Cheese Burger..." Calypso says and I laugh

"We will make sure you get it" I say as I look forward 'Instinct how's the Moonlace?'

'It's doing good, when we're out I'm rejoining you' Instinct says and I chuckle

'Thank you for watching my back' I say and I feel a mental nod

(Five days after the explosion at Mount Saint Helens)

Annabeth's POV:

The entire camp was standing at the amphitheater along with the hunters who had arrived a few days ago. Thalia, Luke, Nico, Zoe, and several other friends of Percy were standing next to me as Chiron trotted onto stage with a blue shroud that had a silver trident on it. Phoenix and Shane were following Chiron, their faces depressed.

"It's been five days since Perseus Jackson disappeared and was assumed dead in the explosion at Mount Saint Helens" Chiron said and I heard someone scoff from the hunters

I turned and saw a strawberry blonde girl who was holding a shield have a smug face on.

"Why are you all moping? He obviously died, yeah but if he isn't smart enough to not be in an erupting volcano then he deserved to die, pathetic male" The girl that I recognized as Amber said

"Amber if you would please refrain from interrupting" Chiron said calmly but everyone heard the annoyance in his voice

"Yeah! You have no Right to talk about Perseus like that!" the Hunter that was standing on the stage near Phoenix shouted and Amber turned to her with a sneer

"Shut up Whore! You're lucky Lady Artemis is even letting you stay in the hunt!" Amber declared and the hunters gasped before stepping away as Phoenix's wings appeared and he drew his sword

As Phoenix stepped forward, I heard music playing from the lake and I tilted my head slightly as everyone turned toward the sound to see the top of a mast and a black flag. I narrowed my eyes as the wind blew the flag to reveal a skull with a trident and lightning bolt crossed under it and a crescent moon in the top left corner.

As we all stared at the flag, the music slowly got louder until we could see a whole crew of pirates coming our way with cannons and other supplies. In front was a familiar Pirate captain and I smiled slightly as the pirates were singing.

"Filthy males!" Amber growled as she drew a silver sword and charged the pirates

"NO!" I yelled but it was no use as Amber kept running and when she reached Blackbeard she swung down and I closed my eyes

Instead of the sound of flesh being cut I heard the sound of metal against metal causing me to snap my eyes open and stare in shock. Blackbeard was still standing there with a smirk on his face, but standing in front of him was a man wearing a wolf pelt hood, and had enough weapons to supply a small army, and he was holding back Amber with ease with a familiar looking Celestial bronze sword.

"I knew he wouldn't go down that easily" I heard Zoe say and a gust of wind blew the man's hood down to reveal the face of my friend Percy Jackson

"PERCY!!!" I heard Rachel squeal but I held her back

"Rachel, now is not the time. Percy doesn't look like he is in the mood" I said and Percy's eyes glowed sea green

"Who are you!?" Amber said as she stumbled back and Percy let out a feral growl, causing a sea green aura to form around him and a massive thunderstorm to brew above camp

"I am your worst nightmare! Now tell me where you got that shield!" Percy growled out and I felt the ground tremble as the winds increased

"Lady Artemis gave it to me!" Amber said proudly but Zoe stepped forward

"NO! YOU STOLE IT FROM HER TENT!" Zoe yelled angrily and I saw Percy tense up

Percy's POV:

'OH, HELL NO!!' Instinct yelled in anger

'Instinct calm down, we will get our shield back, I promise, but right now we need to keep our calm or we will reveal who we really are' I said calmly as I forced my own anger down

"Hey, filth, get out of my way!" the girl said and I rolled my eyes as I stood straight up and capped riptide before crossing my arms

"Hmmm... let me think..." I say slowly while tapping Riptide to my chin before I look straight at the girl "No, you need to get out of MY way before you hurt yourself!" I declare and the girl scoffs

'Ten bucks says she was in the Beta company during training' Instinct says dryly and I chuckle aloud

"What's so funny boy?" she growled trying to look intimidating "I am the Guardian of Artemis!" She announced and I tensed up

'Oh, Chaos is so going to get it. Arty would never replace us... would she?' Instinct said uncertainly but I noticed Zoe glaring at the girl and sighed mentally

'No, it was Chaos' fault. Arty didn't have any say in it if the look on Zoe's face says anything' I advise calmly before looking at the girl

"Ooo, I'm sooo scared, the big powerful guardian of Artemis" I say with enough sarcasm that you could practically feel it rolling off my words, I turned to Edward "Let's go set up the defenses, and leave the 'Oh so powerful 'Guardian of Artemis'' to try and reign in her pompous attitude" with that I lead the pirate crew toward Zeus' fist ignoring the looks of shock from the campers and hunters

'Percy, how the hell?' I heard Phoenix ask mentally as he and Heather joined me and Edward

'Long story' I replied quickly as I saw Calypso hug Zoe 'now come help us set the cannons up at Zeus' fist there is an army coming through the labyrinth to try and march on Camp Half Blood' I finish as we reach the rock formation and the pirates aim their cannons at the formation before they all headed back to pick up the cannon balls

"Phoenix, I'm heading back in" I say as Annabeth, Luke, Nico, Zoe, Bianca, Thalia, and pretty much the entire camp come into ear shot

"NO! You can't Leave again!" I heard Annabeth say and I turn to her and smile

"Don't tell me what to do, I do what I want, when I want, how I please" I say with a smirk as I take a few steps toward the rock formation just as Rachel burst through the crowd and launched herself at me

I fell to the ground as Rachel clamped me in a death hug and I squirmed trying to free myself from the redhead.

"Phoenix! Help" I rasped out and Phoenix laughed as he attempted to pry Rachel off of me but couldn't do it without hurting her

"Sorry man, I can't do much" Phoenix said amused as Rachel snuggled into my chest and I groaned

'GET HER OFF OF US' Instinct yelled mentally

"Shadow clone Jutsu!" I yelled and Instinct appeared a ways away and Rachel let go just long enough for me to break free just as Instinct disappeared and returned to me and we made a beeline for the entrance of the maze

'RUN!!! SHES ON OUR TAIL!!!' Instinct yelled as we slid into the gap of the rocks and hit the delta symbol and fell into the maze

When we hit the ground, I thought of finding Quintus and suddenly a faint silver trail appeared on the ground and I sprinted off following the path.

'Good, she didn't follow us' Instinct said and I laughed as I continued to run down the dark maze once again, yet this time, we had a goal, to find Quintus otherwise known as Daedalus.
