Percy's POV:

After Phoenix took off and Artemis and Hestia went to go talk, I climbed a tree so I could keep a look out over camp until sunrise when I would start my life of being a sla-- 'Guardian' of the hunt. I watched as the hunters all went into their tents after everything had settled down, and when I didn't see anything moving I decided to get to work on sharpening arrows, since I had almost all night to work on them.

'I wonder what Phoenix is doing right now...' I think to myself as I find the armory tent

When I walk in I look around and I notice a stack of used arrows at least 6 feet high and 6 feet wide. Sighing I grab a whetstone, walk over to the stack and see a sled underneath the stack of arrows. I grab the rope that's connected to the sled and I pull it out of the tent to a nearby secluded area.

"This is as good as I'm going to get I suppose" I say aloud as I grab a handful of arrows and sit down and start sharpening them

(Several hours later)

As I finish sharpening the last arrow, I look up and notice that the sun was rising. I curse myself mentally before I stand up and put the arrow on the sled with the rest. I pick up the rope and I drag the arrows back to the hunters' camp. When I enter the camp, I notice Artemis looking around before her eyes land on me with a look of disdain. I keep moving toward the armory tent, where I drop the arrows off before walking over to Artemis.

"Where have you been 'boy'? You were supposed to make breakfast for everyone an hour ago!" Artemis growled

"I am sorry Mi' Lady, but I lost track of time when I was sharpening the Hunt's arrows." I say in a monotone before I look at the hunters "And what will everyone want for Breakfast?"

The huntress with the circlet glares at me.

"Nothing from you 'boy', You'd probably poison the food" the Huntress said and the rest nodded their heads in agreement, except for Artemis that is

"Very well" I state before I turn to Artemis "I will continue with my chores Mi' Lady" with that I bow slightly and walk to where I see a large bag of clothes

"What do you think you're doing 'boy'?" I hear a huntress say

"My job. If you have an issue with it, bring it up with Artemis, and if you still have an issue with it. Talk to Chaos" I say flatly before I grab the bag of clothes and haul it over my shoulder and walk to the closest stream

When I get to the stream I put the clothes down and I start separating them out, being careful to not touch the undergarments.

'I'll have to ask Artemis what to do with those I guess...' I think to myself as I toss all of the blouses into the stream and start washing them

I will the water to soak into the fabric of the clothing items before I create a mini whirlpool which helps wash away all the dirt and other stains that were on the clothes. After a few minutes I will the whirlpool to stop and use the currents to move the clothes away. I kneel down and I notice that some of the clothes still have stains.

"I guess these need to be hand washed as well." I sigh and throw the Hunter's leggings into the stream and start the Whirlpool up again

As the whirlpool washes the leggings, I grab a blouse and I start hand washing it. After a few minutes, I look over the blouse and I see that its stain free. I move the blouse over to the side but keep it in the stream as I hand wash the rest of the blouses.

'Just a couple dozen more to go Percy... just hang in there' I say to myself as I power through the rest of the blouses

I stand up and stretch, causing my back to let loose a string of loud popping sounds.

"Good Gods Almighty..." I say as I kneel next to the stream again and will the currents to move the leggings over to me "Back to work..." I sigh and start scrubbing out the stains in the hunter's leggings

Artemis' POV:

When I saw Perseus walk off with the hunter's dirty clothes I couldn't help but feel a slight pang of guilt. With Phoenix out bringing my aunt's daughter to camp, Perseus didn't have anyone to talk to or anything. After a minute of an intense internal debate I turn to Deloise.

"Deloise, you and the other hunters are to train for the entire day. That means, no pranking Perseus, no messing with him, just leave Perseus alone for today" I say sternly and Deloise looks confused

"But, Lady Artemis..." Deloise started

"No, this is unnegotiable. You are to leave him alone for the whole day" I snap at Deloise and she nods

"Very well Mi' Lady" Deloise says before she and the rest of the hunters grab their bows and walk over to the archery range that was set up

When they leave, I turn towards the direction Perseus walked off in and I start walking. After a few minutes of walking I hear the swirling of water and I look toward the noise and see a whirlpool holding the Hunter's blouses as Perseus stands over the swirling vortex inspecting it.

'Well... this obviously isn't an issue for him' I think to myself as I watch Perseus dissipate the whirlpool before kneeling next to the water and picking up one of Deloise's blouses.

He then throws the hunter's leggings into the water and creates another whirlpool after he mutters something under his breath. I'm just about to turn around when I see Perseus start hand washing the blouses.

I stand and watch him completely stunned. I always thought that men were lazy pigs who always took the easy way out. Apparently, that view of men didn't apply to Perseus as I watched him continue hand washing every hunter's blouse before standing up and cracking his back.

"Back to work..." I hear Perseus say as he kneels down again and moves the blouses over to one side before moving the leggings towards him

As Perseus begins washing the leggings, I start walking up to him. As I get closer to him I notice a flash of metal in the bushes. Knowing what was about to happen I rush forward.

"Percy!" I shout and he turns toward me as I see a volley of arrows get shot at him

Third Person POV:

As the volley of arrows flew towards Percy, Artemis tackled him, causing the two of them to fall into the stream. Artemis looked down at Percy and felt her face start heating up, Percy on the other hand looked up at Artemis and noticed an arrow sticking out of her shoulder. As Artemis got up and tried to hide her face from Percy, he just put his hand on shaft of the arrow.

"Hold still Mi' Lady" He says quickly and Artemis looks at the arrow

"What are you doing Percy?" Artemis said as her face turned from confused to concerned as she noticed the look of pure fury on his face

Percy pulled the arrow out as water snaked up his arm. He put his hand on the open wound which was dripping out Ichor. As the water reached his hand it disappeared as a soft sea-green glow radiated from his hand. After a few minutes, Percy pulled his hand back and was satisfied that the wound was no longer there.

"Thank you, Percy..." Artemis said as Percy turned toward the bushes where the arrows came from and walked to the center of the stream

When Percy reached the center of the stream, a sea-green and silver aura was surrounding him.

"I warned you hunters, that another attempt at causing me harm would end with retaliation! But this time, you got Artemis caught in the crossfire, As I am her Guardian I am required to take action against anyone who harms my charge" Percy announced with a furious tone of voice

Percy raised his arms slowly and at first nothing happened, then the stream started to raise up and start swirling around him until he was the center of his own whirlpool. He clenched his fists and the water split in half and formed two serpent like creatures.

Artemis looked at Percy in slight fear before she steeled her nerves and stepped in front of him so he was face to face with her.

"Perseus, stop!" Artemis commanded but Percy just shook his head

"It is my job to protect you and rid the area of those who cause harm too you Mi' Lady" Percy said as he reared back his arms to send the two water serpents into the bushes.

Artemis looked at Percy before she grabbed his shoulder and flashed away before he could do anymore harm. When the two flashed away the water that was being held in place fell back to the ground and continued to flow as if nothing had happened, the Huntress' clothing was swept onto land when the water flowed back into the stream.

(With Artemis and Percy)

In a bright flash of light Artemis and Percy appeared on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Artemis let go of Percy's shoulders as he jumped back and looked at Artemis. His eyes were a pure silver color as he emitted a sea-green aura. Artemis looked at Percy before slowly walking towards him.

"Perse- Percy... please, calm down, I'm perfectly fine. No need to get angry..." Artemis said softly

"Your hunters have been nothing but cruel to me Mi' Lady." Percy says in a cold tone

"Yes, I know. I should have told them to not be so cruel. But how can you blame them? The things that males have done to them..." Artemis says as she gets closer to Percy

"That does not mean they get to group every male together, there are some males that don't fit the hunter's general biased views!" Percy growled and took a step back from Artemis

"Percy... please calm down... I'll talk to the girls... I'll make things right..." Artemis said and Percy sighed

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, as he exhaled, his sea-green aura disappeared and when he opened his eyes they were their normal sea-green color. Artemis smiled gently as she walked over to him.

"Alright Mi' Lady. I apologize for getting angry and attacking your hunters..." Percy said and Artemis shook her head

"They are in the wrong this time. I specifically told them to leave you alone today, and they disobeyed that order." Artemis said as she walked up to Percy's side

Artemis leaned in to give Percy a kiss on the cheek but Percy turned his head at the last minute and Artemis ended up giving Percy a kiss on the lips. Both of them jumped back and Percy looks at Artemis as she tries to hide her face. Percy walked up to her and put his hand under her chin and gently made her look at him.

"This never happened, right?" Percy says with a small smile which Artemis returned

"Yeah, this never happened" Artemis says as Percy gives her a kiss on the cheek "Never do that again though. Or you will regret it" Percy pales slightly and Artemis smiles

"Understood Mi' Lady" Percy says and Artemis shakes her head

"It's just Artemis, I hate it when you're so formal... I feel like you do it just to annoy people... Especially Chaos..." Artemis said and Percy smiled slyly

"So, you were spying on me... no one could have figured that out unless they were..." Percy said and Artemis blushed again

"Yes, I was spying on you. Got a problem with it?" Artemis said while putting her hands on her hips

"No, I don't have a problem with it, just like to know that you do your research on your guardians" Percy said and once again Artemis blushed

"We should get back to camp. The hunters might be wondering where we went" Artemis said and she looked at Percy again

"You go on ahead, I'm going to go search around a bit. Maybe find a recruit or two for the Hunt" Percy said and Artemis nodded

"Thank you, Percy," Artemis said before flashing away

Percy just turned toward a large mountain and started walking, not really knowing where he was. But what he did see was a large swirling mass of clouds funneling down towards the mountain.
