Ilya Mironov is ruling the underworld of New York like the cold winters of Russia he is used to. With a tight fist and cold demeanor. When a simple gunshot wound forces him to end up at the door of Dr. Cassia Whitaker's emergency room, he's blindsided by the beautiful doctor that doesn't seem to cower under the barrel of his gun. Suddenly, being constantly wounded isn't the worst thing that can happen if it means that Ilya will get to see more of his doctor.
