Miyabi was known as the lunar, or ghost.

so, like a ghost, she disappeared. Often. Either in terms of teleporting or just straight up wandering into the night for hours.

she had gotten back from her daily search in the night after the Mayors death(Don mitchell) and had come in through her own open window.

"The killer left a message" Bruce said, leaning against her doorframe.

"Oh"

"I was hoping you could double check my decoding skills" He said, smiling.

He handed her a picture of the cipher with his handwriting on top, he had circled what he thought to be the message: 'drive'

She scanned over it and passed it back to him.

"it does mean drive" Miyabi answered, trying to give a slight smile 

They put on their suits and headed out on batman's motorcycle, heading to what her father said might be the location of the so called drive.

He called gordon on the way and asked him to come, Miyabi still didnt know if she could trust him fully though; she hated cops.

They pulled up to the location and her father went straight to a car, entering it aand searching through whatever was in there.

"so, you related to this guy?" Gordon asked, semi appearing out of nowhere.

She half nodded.

"oh yeah, are you male, female, or?"

"she/her, female thanks, male right?

He nodded and smiled at her, before they both turned to face her father who held a thumb and usb in hand.

Batman plugged in the drive but the identification still had to be completed.

"ghost, could you" He asked, though it was more of an order.

she watched as Gordon looked at her with a disgusted face as she pressed the severed thumb onto the identification pad. 

pictures started to flood the screen, a beaten girl and.. the mayor.

it looked to be outside or near the iceberg lounge, as penguin was seen in the background.

"Well at least we know who we have to question."
