Author: HELLO GUYS! Today is important! Because this is the last Q and A chapter of this book! Woohoo! After this one there will be a part two! I plan on having more chapters that are written out instead of being in the Q and A format of "Luna: (words she speaks) .... Fern: (words she speaks)...".  I will still make some chapters in the Q and A format. But there will also be chapters that are actual stories.... Thank you for reading this far! Luna: Let's see here....

Luna: Hmmm... Well first off the definition of dere is as follows "relating to the properties of things mentioned in an assertion or expression, rather than to the assertion or expression itself." At least that is what it says on the internet.... But deres are an anime archetype/trope/or stereotype....of characters...ACK this is hard to describe. So basically deres have to do with how characters act in a relationship or something....Deres are a way to describe love interests, referring to characters....I think I said that wrong... Some kinds of deres are Tsundere....what was it... Kuudere?Yandere... Isn't "DereDere" also a type of Dere? I will ask Fern...

Luna: *runs to Fern's room and takes her camera with her* FERN!!!!!!

Fern: *looks up from her phone* What is it!?

Luna: In my Q and A I was asked what Deres are! Would you like to help me explain?

Fern: Sure.

Luna: Question, isn't "Deredere" a type of dere?

Fern: (wasn't fully listening) Huh. Yes, a Deredere is a type of dere, as well as Tsundere, Yandere, and Kamidere are also types of deres.

Luna: I already mentioned two of those.....but please explain to the audience what some of them mean.

Fern: Sure, so a character that is a Deredere is a very kind, sweet, happy, and energetic person, and the character will often revert to their cheerful self no matter what situation. On another website I saw once, it said that the entire character archetype centers around their love for a single character. "Deredere" also translates to "Lovestruck". Kamidere. A Kamidere is an anime archetype for characters with a god complex, the word "Kami" means god, and these characters are often arrogant. A Dandere is a description of a character that is shy, quiet, and awkward, and often insecure people that don't talk much. These characters often want to be social, but are too embarrassed or scared of getting hurt. Another Dere I know of is Himedere, Himedere refers to a female character that wishes to be treated like a princess by the one she loves even if she isn't royalty. There is a male version that is similar called Oujidere, which is a character that wishes to be treated like a prince by the one he loves even if he isn't actually royalty. The terms Dere most often refer to female characters, but they can also be used to describe male characters as well.

Luna: Now the main Dere that I know of is Tsundere, because it is the most used character type in anime and manga....A Tsundere is someone who acts hostile, or treats their love interest poorly by hurting them or calling them stupid, Tsunderes treat their love interest this way often because that is the only way they know how to react. Tsunderes often get flustered when their love interest calls them cute, causing them to insult or hit them. Tsunderes are also characters that initially are cold/mean toward their love interest, but gradually show a warmer and friendlier side overtime. Speaking of Tsunderes! You may or may not know of him, he is known by many names, one being The Fire Guy, none other than, Best Tsundere! He is like a real life Tsundere! Oooooohhhh! Aaaaaawwwww. *is fantasizing adorable images* These two beans relationship, awww. Best Tsundere was so funny, one second he was like "I like him, but I don't think he likes me, so I'm sad. I think he hates me." And then his love interest was like "No I love you!" And he tries to give him hug, and Best Tsundere responds with "Get Away from me you're scaring me!" *laughs* oh my gosh that was funny! Then there was another time, were Best Tsundere turned to his love interest and held his hands in his, and the guy said "So what are you going to say?"  And Best Tsundere says,"You're ugly". WHILE HE IS HOLDING HIS HANDS!!!!!

Fern: *interupts her* What anime is this from?

Luna: SHUT UP I'M TALKING! What was it, oh yeah. Best Tsundere. Hmmm. Oh yes. The best moment, other then the "Get away from me you're scaring me" one. That was a good one. *turns to Fern* Flame even quoted him! BUT! *goes back to the topic of 'Best Tsundere' character* The best moment of all time that truly proves him a Tsundere. So his boy walks up to him, right, and he places his hand under Best Tsundere's chin, right. SO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. Best Tsundere be like: "NOPE" and automatically just swipes the dude's hand right away from his face! *Luna starts jumping up and down, spazzing, and waving her arms around frenetically* Yup! You can't. One can't. I mean. Gosh wow. Seeeee that is why be he known. This is why we call him a real life Tsundere! And as the definition of a Tsundere says is initially cold and mean toward the love interest, then gradually shows a warmer side, he be kinda like that too!

Fern: *is annoyed* I seriously don't know who this "Best Tsundere" guy is. You have mentioned him multiple times, and I still don't get it. You can be really annoying.

Luna: So can you. I could say stuff about you as well. For example, I hate it when you ignore me or disregard what I have to say. And you can be mean. Sometimes I will be acting happy and you will be annoyed at me. And other times I might be sad, or annoyed and you might be really happy...

Fern: I get it I am just as annoying as you are!

Luna: Gosh! We need to stop it with the absolute statements, we are causing too,much negative energy....and let's get on with the Q and A! So, you described Deredere, Kamidere, Dandere, and . While I described Tsundere....I think we forgot a couple.... Oh yes! Another type of dere I know of is a Kuudere, a kuudere is a character that is cold, blunt, and cynical...meaning that they seem like they don't care....I think... Kuuderes seem emotionless on the outside, but are caring on the inside, mostly toward those they love. Another dere I know of is Yandere....a Yandere, the word Yandere is a combination of the words "Yanderu" which means to be sick in this case mentally or emotionally sick or ill, and "Deredere" meaning Lovestruck. A Yandere starts out as a character that seems happy, nice, and social, but they become obsessive over the ones they love. Yandere will resort to violence, and often kill anyone who gets close to their love interest. It is really messed up....sometimes Yanderes are stalkers.....and that's the ones I knew before... Tsunderes, Kuuderes, and Yanderes. But I learned some new stuff thanks to Fern!

Fern: Your welcome.

Luna: So now that we described the deres that we know. Now it is time to answer the second part of the question, which was what kind of dere I am.

Fern: Well, I myself consider myself a Deredere, since I am most often happy, sweet, and kind, and that is the same for how I am in me and Flame's relationship.

Luna: And we all know Flame was a bit of a Tsundere, but he did warm up right, sorry I made a pun.

Fern: I will excuse the pun, but you're right...now what dere do you consider yourself as?

Luna: I'm not really sure. I have never been in a relationship before.

Fern: So what now?

Luna: Hmmm. Well how about the other versions of me....meaning Violet of EarthSea, and her in every other dimension/world. Luna the NightWing! She was in a relationship! We could maybe figure out what dere she is!

Fern: That could be a good idea.

Luna: Yeah.

Fern: So how did she act in her relationship?

Luna: So she started out neutral toward her love interest, when they first met she was just looking for directions, he was a SeaWing named Seaweed. So they were underwater, and Luna couldn't hold her breath so she basically left and he followed her, which sort of was her plan. When she made it back to the Island where her friends were, he insulted them all because of his ignorance, and stupidity. So Luna started out not really liking him, but overtime they became friends. Once they were friends he developed feelings for Luna, but when ever he showed his affections by either hugging her or in a sense flirting, she would hit, slap, or hurt him somehow. But then he would sometimes make her jealous by flirting with random strangers, people he just met, and even when they met Luna's friend Obsidian Flier, he flirted with her too. So Luna and Obsidian Flier beat the crap out of him, because he is an idiot. Luna calls him an idiot.....They have a complicated relationship, because whenever her friends are around, she tends to act mean toward Seaweed, but when it is just them, sometimes she shows a nicer side, and Luna does like him. But there was that one time, this was one of those times her friends weren't there so she didn't have to worry about what they thought...so, during then, she wasn't feeling too happy toward him...future vision stuff...and he tried to cheer her up by hugging her, which she responding by hitting him. But to wrap up this analysis, or rant about their relationship, they got married in the end and had a daughter named Amethyst.

Fern: Well that was one of the longest things I had to sit through. My conclusion is, she is a Tsundere. So you said that she hated him, then became friends with him, and would hurt him if he flirted with her or others...or because he was stupid. As I said. My diagnosis, she is a Tsundere.

Luna: *slightly annoyed* Annoyed but not surprised. That doesn't make me a Tsundere though? Right?

Fern: Who knows? Not all different AU versions of oneself are the same....and we won't know until you are in a relationship...

Luna: So does that conclude today's Q and A?

Fern: I guess it does. *turns to the camera* Goodbye!!!!
