*in the early morning*

Luna (voice-over): once the dawn came we awoke from our slumber and started our journey to the forest...but not before i kept falling face-first into the ground from sleepiness 'cause if you didn't know...i was still exhausted

*luna face-plants on the ground*

Luca: Luna are you sure you should keep walking? you look exhausted

Luna: no i'm fine luca i don't need to rest i can walk the rest of the way or...maybe fly...ehh you go on ahead i'll catch up later

*suddenly luna meows questioningly when luca picked her up*

Luna: uhh what are you doing?

Luca: carrying you

Luna: luca...

Luca: hey you can't walk without face-planting into the ground every 10 seconds so i'm gonna carry you until you regain your strength

Luna: *sighs* fine...

*as luca continued to walk holding luna the sun continued to rise until it was noon when luna fully regained the strength to walk but before he could tell her, he noticed she was asleep in his arms*

Luca (thinking): mother of pearl she's so cute when she sleeps

*suddenly luna's eyes flutter open and meets her tired and sleepy gaze with luca's*

Luna (sleepily): hey luca...*yawns* how long was i out for?

Luca: i dunno i just saw you asleep like that

Luna: ah right

Luca: D'you think you can walk now?

Luna: Well put me down and let's find out

*luca puts luna onto the ground and they wait for ten seconds but luna doesn't topple over*

Luna: Ah well would you look at that i regained my strength...now come on luca we got a rendezvous point to head to *starts walking*

Luca: Okay? *follows luna*

Luna: Soo luca

Luca: Hm?

Luna: There's kinda something i've been wondering about you

Luca: What is it?

Luna: Are you sure you weren't lying to me about being a human yesterday night?

Luca: No of course not! why would you think i would be lying

Luna: Because when i asked you if you weren't an ali-human you said you were a human but right before you said 'human' you hesitated

Luca: i- it's nothing i swear! i'm perfectly fine

*Luca tries to lean on a tree but misses the tree and falls onto the ground with a leaf landing on his head and he lets out a small giggle of embarrassment*

Luna: *lets out a giggle* Oh luca *kneels in front of luca and takes the leaf off of his head* you're so funny

Luca: really?...i- i- i mean yeah i know

Luna: *chuckles and pulls him up* come on let's go
