CRIMSON FLOWERS
~Red curls tumbled past her shoulders and nearly touched her waist
Her body was covered with green plants, almost resembling lace
The woman's eyes were a brilliant shade of green
But don't let it fool you, because she can be oh so very mean
She has a heart made of stone and ice cold hands,
And she was the most beautiful in all of her green land
She didn't care for anyone but her green friends
Anyone else who dared upset her would surely meet their end
For she was Mother Nature
And a single glare from her screamed danger
The green grass slipped between her toes,
It was an odd feeling that always evaporated her woes
Humans had been hurting her beautiful plants and trees
So she used her poisonous nails to bring them all to their knees
She would smile with glee as their corpses bloomed
Roses and poison ivy sprouting from their bodies, the sweet smell of blood was her favorite perfume
Everyone knew to stay far away from her garden,
If they made one wrong move, they knew they would not get a pardon
She was Mother Nature after all, and she was not kind
She was cruel and ruthless, despising all of mankind
But the wild woman just loved her power
Almost as much as she loved her beautifully crimson flowers~
//behold, a poem talking about Mother Nature/Ivy Pepper from my favorite show Gotham. I got inspired by a photo edit of Ivy with a title Crimson Flowers and decided that I just HAD to write a poem about that. So here it is!
