Diana's POV

"Why fight me? You already have a Pack and I have a Pack. After all, I am an Alpha King." Theo spoke.

That was the last straw. Luca pounces on top of his brother, tossing them both to the ground.

I back away and just stare at them ripping each other apart. At this point, Jay was in full control. Theo pushes him off and makes a run for it heading back to the Moon's Packhouse.

I wondered why. Was he genuinely scared of him? It didn't make any sense.

Jay followed him closely. Before he could leave, I saw him shift into the black wolf that I had seen a while ago.

"Jay!" He turned his head to me.

My feet sprint to him as if a magnet was pulling me. I sit on top of him without his permission. Jay ignores my actions and follows Theo, not caring about my well being.

I fall back slightly but grab a handful of Jay's fur to hold my position. He was fast and angry. The way his paws would thud onto the ground indicated it.

The wind blew in my hair causing me to blow puffs of air to prevent it from entering my mouth.

"S-slow down Jay!"

He never listened. Instead, Jay went faster than ever.

After a few minutes, he had come to a complete stop. I jumped off of his back and watched as he made his way to the Moon's Packhouse. He had shifted back into Luca's form and was completely nude. He followed his eldest brother into the Packhouse, breaking open the door that was used to lock him out.

"Theo, come out here you mutt. I am here to challenge you!" Luca roars.

I follow Luca into the Packhouse and watch as he flings things all over the place in anger. Theo walks out of the kitchen, trying to keep a brave face.

"Is this what you really want?"

His hands were behind his back. He was hiding something. Luca moved closer to him, ready to tear his brother apart.

"Die."

Luca charges toward Theo and shoves him into the wall. Theo pulls two large butcher knives from behind his back taking stabs at Luca.

"Luca, watch out!" I scream.

He moves his head to the side before Theo could sink the sharp knife into his skull. Punch after the punch was thrown until Theo pinned my mate against the wall this time. His crown was starting to tilt slightly as he sneered.

Theo's arm was soon raised and one of the knives dug into Luca's shoulder. I cover my mouth as I watch him bleed.

I look around to see if there was anything I would be able to use as a weapon. There was a wooden chair that was placed in the corner of the room. My feet rush to it and I grip the backboard with my sweaty palms.

Once I am behind Theo, I raise the chair as high as possible before slamming it into his back. Theo arches his back in utter pain while roaring in anger. Luca scratched at his face, leaving scars and deep wounds on his cheek.

Theo turns around and attacked me. Before he could get to me, Luca held onto this shirt and slammed him into the ground.

His crown fell a few feet from where he was. Theo's eyes flooded with fury as he pushed his younger brother off of himself.

I run to the crown picking it up and let out a shocked squeal. Theo quickly crawls to me but Luca grips onto his leg, popping it out of place. His painful cries made me cringe and caused my shoulders to eat my ears for a moment.

"You STAY AWAY FROM HER!"

Luca's claws carved into Theo's back, leaving him to bleed. Except, he wouldn't give up that easily. In his right hand, there was still a knife and he turned around stabbing Luca's chest. My mate groans in pain as blood gushes out of his mouth.

He falls onto his back.

"NO!" I yell harshly as the crown soon falls out of my grasp.

The sound of the knife making its way into Luca's chest a few times made hot tears fall out of my eyes and loud sobs to leave my mouth. Theo throws the bloody knife to the side breathing heavily.

He rises slowly then turns to face me with his stained face and blackened eyes. His eyes flicker to where my feet were, staring at the crown with a grim smirk on his face.

"I believe that belongs to me,"

I bend down and pick it up again before walking backward and away from the monster who was a few feet away from where I was.

"Come on, Diana give it up."

My back hit the wall and soon I realized that I was trapped. Theo's rough hands clasped onto my arm very tightly and pulled me close to him. I let out a whimper from the unnecessary pain and trying to leave his clutch.

"Let...go of me!"

He growled and soon was about to snap my arm.

Slice.

Theo's hands loosened from me and blood began leaking from his neck. He fell onto his knees and his lifeless body met the floor. His head disconnected from his body and soon rolled away from it. I was out of words but slowly looked up to see Luca's shaking body.

"I am THE Alpha King." His deep voice thundered.

He tossed the knife then followed his deceased brother's actions, dropping onto the ground also. I slide to him then put pressure onto his chest to stop the bleeding. He coughs up more of the thick red liquid.

"D-Diana, I feel sleepy," He whispered.

I sob a little more after shaking my head at him while rubbing his cheek in a circling motion.

"No, no you have to stay awake. Help is on the way please just hold on," I wipe my nose then begin yelling for someone, "HELP! PLEASE, SOMEONE, HELP ME!"

"I am just g-going to t-take a small nap. Don't you worry about m-me."

His eyes started to close and his breathing was slowing down.

"HELP! WE ARE IN HERE, BLAKE!? HAYDEN!? ANYONE, PLEASE HELP!"

Loud boots thudded into the Moon's Packhouse and I look to see who it was. There Matt stood shocked at the bloody scene.

"Help me."

Luca's POV

My sense heightened as I heard small chatter next to me. I felt someone grasp my hand and give it a small peck before rubbing it with their thumb.

I slowly begin to open my eyes and soon squint at the bright lights that seemed to blind me. I blink rapidly as I try to get my eyesight back to perfection.

"Diana! Look I think he is waking up!"

My vision is finally repaired and I to my right to see the most beautiful woman sitting next to me. I give her a small smile and watch her eyes fill up with joyous tears. She lets go of my hand and gives me a hard embrace.

"Luca! Oh, don't ever do that to me again!"

Diana left me kisses all over my face until her lips finally met mine, I groan in pain throughout the kiss but still allow it to happen. When our lips disconnect she snuggles into me and closes her eyes with content.

I wrap an arm around her with a struggle but soon stare at the multiple eyes that watched us lovingly. There they all were, the entire group was standing right in front of me. They gave me small waves and tiny grins.

"When did you guys get here?" I ask.

Diana shifts her head to her eyes to meet mine for a small moment. I couldn't stop staring into the deep chocolate brown eyes she had. The way they were sparkling at this moment, made my heart jump in many different directions.

I tried to sit up only to see that I was on our couch back home in the living room.

"Woah, oh no you don't," Diana says.

"Come on guys, let's leave these two lovebirds alone," Hayden

She lightly pushes me back down onto the couch and pats my bicep.

"The pack doctor told me that you must rest for a couple of days after waking up!"

A sigh leaves my lips and I groan in annoyance. I didn't want to rest, in my opinion, it was just a waste of time and valuable time at that.

"Alright. If we are going to be on this couch for a while, mind telling me what happened? How the hell did I get here?"

My memory on everything that happened was so foggy. All I could remember were small bits and pieces when I challenged Theo.

"Well, you killed Theo and you are now the one and only Alpha King. He almost killed you and I really thought y-you were going to leave me here all alone." Her voice trembled as she spoke about the events that occurred.

I gulped loudly and licked my lips in hesitation before asking another question.

"...How long have I been...you know passed out?"

"Luckily, only a day and a half. You really scared me, Luca."

She raises the shirt that I was wearing all the way up to my chin, I smirk at her and make a snarky comment. She knew that it was coming causing her to roll her eyes.

"Darling, calm down. I just woke up!"

Her hand slowly grazes something creating a burning sensation to arise. I hiss and squeeze my eyes shut from the action. Slowly, I peek open one eye and look down at my chest. There were four large stab wounds that were crossing over one another.

Diana's bottom lip trembled as she puts her ear onto my chest and holds my hand again. She hummed a bit and sniffled away all the bad memories.

"It's still beating." She whispers.

I smile down at her and twirl strands of her hair with my hand. I kiss the top of her head and lay mine back down on the armrest.

"My heart will always beat for you." I murmur.

We stayed in silence together for a few moments and steal small kisses from each other.

Hayden knocks on the side of the wall and peeks his head from the side.

"Hey lovebirds, mind if we join you now?"

I nod nudging my head toward Diana and me. My head perked up when I heard the sound of gurgling and loud blabbering. Jade walked in with Mia who chewed on her hand aggressively with drool running down her chin.

Aiden and James walk in next and stand beside Hayden, Daniel makes his way to the loveseat next to me as Lena and Monica are hovering over Diana and I. Alex stared at my chest with wide eyes right when he took a seat on the coffee table.

Someone was missing.

"Where is Blake?" I ask.

"He went to go buy us all some food. We get pretty hungry just waiting around. Especially my little pup and I." Monica happily cheered and rubbed her enlarged belly.

I take my arm off of Diana and hold them out toward Jade indicating that I wanted to hold Mia. She quickly obliged and rested Mia in my strong arms as she sat on my tummy.

"Wow! You are getting so big!" I use a baby voice.

Diana laughs at me and plays with my hair by pulling and tugging on little loose strands. My fingers went to Mia's feet in a way to tickle her, sadly, I had failed too do so. She stared at me curiously and took her slobbery hand out of her mouth, putting her saliva all over my arm.

"Gross!" Alex yelled.

"So, Alpha King, what is your plan now that Theo has been defeated?" Monica questioned.

I glance at the entire group and smirk at them then grin at Diana.

"Well, I think it is time for us to get married, don't you think?"

Diana smiles brightly and rests her forehead against mine.

"I think so too." She whispers.
