Akio, Mai, and Kenzou were gathered under a large Sakura tree, eating lunch after being dismissed by Iruka-sensei until they needed to meet up in the classroom to meet their Jounin sensei.

"Hey, what do you two, our sensei will, be like?" Mei asked after taking a bite of her rice.

"I don't know, but I hope they have a decent amount to teach us," Kenzou stated, straightening his eye patch.

They are Jounin, so there bound to have a lot to teach us with us being only Genin-level ninjas," Akio said.

"Good point there," Kenzou agreed.

"So what do you think they will have us do today?" Mei asked curiously.

"My guess, if it's anything, is the first day at the Academy, we probably do an introduction to get to know each other better," Akio stated.

"That sounds about right to me," Kenzou said.

"I think I'm going to go for a brief stroll since there is still a decent amount of time before we need to meet back inside," Akio said, standing up after finishing his lunch.

"See you later then," Mei said with a smile, noticing it was just her and Kenzou left.

Kenzou just nodded bye as Akio walked off.

Akio was just walking around when he suddenly spotted Sakura sitting down on the bench, looking down at her hands sadly.

He walked over to her and stopped right in front of her, bending down with his head tilted in confusion about what she was doing.

"Sakura?" He questioned.

Sakura looked up, and their eyes met. She suddenly gasped and jumped in her seat. Akio then stood back up straight with an eyebrow raised.

"Is everything okay?" He asked in concern.

Sakura blushed as she relaxed back in her seat. "Yes... sorry."

"Why aren't you having lunch with Sasuke or Naruto?" He asked as he sat on down next to her on the bench.

"Sasuke wanted to eat alone, and Naruto offered to eat with me, but I told him no, hoping Sasuke would decide to join me," Sakura said with a sigh.

Akio leaned back on the bench against the head of it."Oh, I see. Well, I decided to split from my team for a stroll. Do you want to walk back to the classroom together?" He asked.

Sakura looked at him in surprise."With you?" She asked.

Akio smiled and stood up. He dusted off his pants and extended his hand out to her."Come on; it will be better than going back alone."

Sakura blushed as she accepted his hand."Yeah, I suppose that it would be," She agreed.

They walked together back towards the school and towards the classroom to meet with their sensei. Sakura let out a slight sequel from next to him. He looked at her, confused.

She just blushed and looked down, avoiding his gaze. He then looked down as well and realized that he was still holding her hand. He smiled and quickly apologized.

"My bad," He said as he released her hand from his grip.

He heard her mumble something under her breath and decided to ignore it, deciding it was probably nothing he needed to hear.

"You didn't seem that surprise about your teammates," Sakura said as the two continued walking.

"Well, not really. The three of us have abilities that are compatible with each other, so I kind of expect us to be on a team," Akio replied.

"You must be close to feel compatible with them."

Akio nodded in agreement, with Sakura saying he must be close to them. He was running a hand through his smooth hair as he noticed Sakura's expression as she looked at him.

"Hey, what is it? You seem like you have something on your mind or want to ask me something," He commented.

Sakura blushed as she realized that she got caught looking at him."Oh...well...I nothing, don't worry about it," She said quickly, heading on inside the classroom.

Akio tilted his head to the side."That was very strange," He whispered, confused, as he entered the classroom after her.

Akio was sitting next to Mei and Kenzou inside of the classroom, waiting for their sensei to show up along with Team seven. However, he couldn't help but think about Sakura's behavior earlier.

'She seemed like she wanted to say something, but she suddenly changed her mind about it.' He thought, glancing at Sakura, sitting at the table close to Sasuke while looking at Naruto in annoyance.

"Geez, will that morn chill with his pacing," Kenzou muttered.

"I don't blame him. Both sensei are the only two who haven't arrived yet," Mei said softly as she rested a hand against her left cheek.

"I'm sure that our sensei will be here soon," Akio replied as he pulled out his book, deciding to entertain himself until their sensei had arrived.

"He right. They might have had to do something first before coming here, like maybe getting the names of those who are going to be their students," Kenzou commented, glancing over at Mei.

"That a reasonable guess to me," Akio said, not looking up from his book as he continued to read it.

"Alright, Team twelve, if you would follow me," A husky male voice said.

Akio closed his book and put it away in his pouch. He then looked up and turned his attention to the door as he saw a figure enter the classroom, gaining the attention of Team Twelve.
