It had been two years since Akio had last seen the beautiful blossom he had protected from bullies. He was now a seven-year-old boy with pale blue hair going down his neck and bangs touching his forehead, and two side bangs framing the top of his face.

Today was going to be his first day at the Ninja Academy. He was currently sitting at a kitchen table eating bacon and pancakes with his mother and his twin 2-year-old siblings Ayumu and Honoka.

Ayumu is a two-year-old boy with short white, slightly spiky white hair and periwinkle eyes. He was wearing a black short sleeve shirt with a white star on the front of it. At the same time, Honoka is the twin sister of Ayumu. She has pale blue hair tied up in pigtails and pink eyes. She was wearing a black and white dress with a star symbol on the left corner of it.

"So Akio, you ready for your first day today?" His mom asked, pouring Ayumu and Honoka some apple juice.

"Yes, of course, I've been waiting for this day," Akio smiled."Also, is um father joining us for breakfast?"He asked.

"I'm sure you will do great, and no, he has important matters he needs to take care of," His mother replied."Megumi will be taking you to the Ninja Academy."

"Aca-demy?" The twin asked, confused with cute expressions on their faces.

"Yes, that's right, little siblings," Akio chuckled, standing on up."I'm going to go get my bag for class. See you, mother," He bowed, remembering the manners of respect he was taught to treat adults like his parents.

"Megumi should be here shortly to pick you up," His mother said.

"I understand," Akio said, heading upstairs after putting his plate in the sink and heading upstairs to get his bag.

After one more goodbye to his mother, Akio, and  Megumi, we're now walking toward the Academy.

"Akio-san, are you ready for your first day at the Ninja Academy?" Megumi asked.

"Yes, it's going to be an excellent day, and I'm going to make father and the elders proud," He said with determination in her eyes.

"Yes, I'm sure you will," She said, smiling at the young boy.

After another ten minutes of walking, the tap had finally arrived at the Academy.

"Alright, we're here. Have a good day at the academy, and I will be here to pick you up at the end of the day," She said, pointing toward the entrance of the Academy.

Akio gave her a large smile before he went inside of the building with the rest of the kids that had just arrived as well.

Akio was sitting in a large room full of over hundreds of other students as they listened to the Third Hokage giving a speech of wisdom and wishing all of them luck at the Academy.

Akio sighed quietly, getting slightly bored from the long speech he was forced to listen to. He then noticed a girl looking at him from the fifth seat in his row and raised an eyebrow in confusion.

'Strange, there's something familiar about that girl.' He thought as he gave the girl a faint smile as she waved at him.

After a few more minutes, everyone was dismissed to their classrooms.

Akio walked inside of his classroom once he found the correct room number and took a seat in the left corner in the back near the window.

He looked out the window to see the beautiful sight of the birds flying around in the sunny morning sky.

Soon a man with a scar on his nose walks inside of the classroom, holding a clipboard in his hands.

"Hello, class. I'm Iruka Umino. I will be your sensei for the time that you are here. You are all here to become shinobi, but first, we will get to know each other. So let us know your name and a little bit about yourself. You in the top left start us off," He pointed at a young boy with a pineapple hairstyle.

"What a drag..." The boy mumbled.

"I'm Shikamaru Nara, and being here such a drag just like woman," The boy, now known as Shikamaru, introduced, getting a bunch of glares from all the girls in class.

'Well, there goes his chances of getting a romantic relationship.' Akio thought, knowing that if his mother heard that, she would beat him up to a pulp.

"Well, Shikamaru, welcome go, class," Iruka said with a soft smile.

Shikamaru just snorted in response to that.

"Ok, the next," Iruka then pointed at the boy next to the young boy sitting next to the Nara.

"I'm Choji Akimichi, and I love food," The boy said, eating a bag of chips. Akio nodded. He had a feeling looking at the chubby boy, that he was an Akimichi.

"Okay, next up," Iruka said, pointing at a blonde girl with blue eyes.

"I'm Ino Yamanaka, and I plan on taking over my family's flower shop," She said with a bright smile on her face.

'Yes, I recall the Yamanaka's flower shop. I have gone there with father a few times to get mother flowers for special occasions.'Akio thought, recalling the times he was there.

Iruka nodded before he moved on to the next person, who was a girl with short hair and pupils with lavender or whiteish eyes.

Akio guessed from her appearance that she must be a Hyuga.

"I'm Hina...t...a Hyu...ga. I'm the elde...st daug...hter of the clan head," The Hyuga girl said shyly.

The next kid then introduced himself. He was an annoying boy named Kiba Inuzuka and had a dog name Akamaru. After him was a boy named Shino Auberame, who was very quiet.

The introductions continued as the next boy with raven hair, and onyx eyes introduced himself.

"Sasuke Uchiha. I am from the great Uchiha clan," He said, making the girls swan over him and making Aiko shake his head.

'They don't even know the guy and test there already all over. I don't see why he seems like a cocky jerk.'

The blonde boy next to him then introduced himself next.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki. I will become Hokage! Believe it!" The blonde boy shouted before most of the class started laughing at him.

'That quite the dream, they say. Those who have big dreams grow to be great shinobi.' Akio thought, looking at the blonde boy

Suddenly the next person was the girl that looked at him early during the Hokage speech, and his eyes widened when he suddenly he heard a familiar name.

"I'm Sak...ura Har...uno. It's nice to meet you," She said shyly, covering her face with her bangs before glancing slightly at Sasuke.

'Wow, she is still the beautiful blossom I met two years ago and still seems shy about her forehead.' Akio thought, looking at Sakura with a smile.

"Ok, now the last one. You in the back left," Iruka said.

Akio then stood on up and introduced himself and noticed Sakura glancing at him until he ducked, involving a flying paper coming his way. He raised an eyebrow seeing it was Naruto.

"My name is Akio Ōshiro. I'm the clan heir of the noble Ōshiro clan," He said, and suddenly, he felt lots of people attending to him, especially the girls.

"Alright, Akio, nice to meet you. It seems that we're done with the introduction. Now we're going to go over the history of the village's founding.

Akio nodded as he sat back down in his seat, ignoring the eyes that were focused on him still.

'I, it's him again, the boy who defended me from the bullies two years ago. His appearance has matured over the two years since he gained some muscle. But Sasuke-kun is even more handsome...so confusing.' Sakura looked over at Akio, who pulled out history and had a deep-thought expression.

'That Akio Ōshiro. He is stealing Sakura's attention. It's bad enough she seems to like Sasuke. How am I supposed to win her heart now if she is also into Akio.' Naruto fumed to himself.

'He dodges the paper all with ease if caught off guard. Maybe I could use him as a rival to get father's attention. I heard that the Ōshiro clan was quite skilled after all, and I must make father proud.' Sauske thought, looking at his possible future rival.

Iruka stared at Akio, seeing great potential in him from his fast reflex to avoid Naruto's paper ball and how he seemed to be taking his studies as he started getting ready to take notes over the history lesson.

Later that day...

Akio was in his bedroom doing his history homework which was continued reading over the founding of the village.

As he was reading over the feuding of the Senju and Uchiha clan. He was pulled out of his studying by a knock on his bedroom door.

"Come in!" He called.

The door revealed a tall, muscular man with spiky pale blue hair and pink eyes.

"Hello, son. Is everything good? How was your first day?" The man asked.

"Yes, everything is good. It was an okay first day. We studied the village's founding and saw that girl I told you about two years ago again," Akio replied.

"I see. That sounds good, and you mean the beautiful Blossom you talk so highly about.

Akio blushed slightly at his father teasing him." Stop. It wasn't like that."

"Keep telling yourself," He said, looking at the blushing boy."Dinner will be ready soon, and after dinner, it will be training time."

"Yes, father," Akio replied as his father left the room.

The second chapter, Luminous Blossom, has been published. Akio and Sakura finally see each other after the day he defended her. She now has difficulty deciding whether she likes Akio more or Sasuke more. I hope you enjoy the chapter. Let me know what you think in the comments.
