Lukas's POV
I felt the cool wind brush against my skin as Jess and I walked closer to the movie theatres (or cinemas, depending on where you live). This was gonna be our 5th date, and I didn't want to mess anything up. I'm normally not like this around people. I never overthink, and I'm actually the calm one. But not around Jess. I don't how she does it, but every time I'm around her, my heart skips a beat. My mouth can't open to talk, and my brain stops working. The only thing I do is stare.

We entered the building, argued a lot and I mean A LOT on who would pay for the tickets and popcorn. After a while, Jess FINALLY let me, Well she didn't let me, I kinda had to pretend my ankle was hurt, so she quickly bent down to check if anything was wrong, and I took the chance to quickly pay. By the time she got up and said nothing was wrong, it was too late. She elbowed me and pouted a bit, making me smirk.

We walked in and took our seats, waiting for the movie to start. I reached for the popcorn, but before I could grab it, I felt something else. Jess's hand. I saw Jess blush and look away, about to move her hand, but I quickly intertwined our fingers, making me go red a bit as well. Soon, the movie began. It got to a really exciting point, until the movie stopped. And I don't mean it finished, it just stopped. The screen turned black. A lot of groaning came from other people, annoyed how the movie mysteriously stopped. Soon, a worker rushed in and said, "I'm so sorry guys, something went wrong, we'll try to fix it as soon as possible," Then he ran off again.

I sighed as I waited for him to come back. I don't know how long we waited, but it felt like hours, until Jess couldn't take it anymore. She grabbed a popcorn and threw it at me. "Hey!" I said as the popcorn hit me on the face. I reached in the bucket and took out a handful and threw it back at her. She growled a bit and tackled me, causing me to fall over. Long story short, we ended having a massive fight, and so did everyone at the movies. In the end, the movie didn't ever come back on and well we kinda made a mess.. ;)

Okay first, I just wanna say thank you to all the nice comments you guys sent, they really meant a lot. <3 And second, I'm still sick, but I'm feeling a bit better so I wrote a quick chapter for you guys, sorry if this is shorter than the others. And if you have any suggestions, please tell me because I'm running out of ideas since I can't think well because my fever is messing up my head.
