(February 14, Valentine's Day)

Lukas Pov:

Today's Valentine's Day, its time to set this plan into action, I woke up super early than the others so I can find a azure bluet for Jesse since their so hard to find so it will probably take me a few hours or so but I better make sure I make it back just in time so I can see the others give each other Valentines. I was about to head out the door until I spotted Reuben also leaving, maybe he's going to work on the potion for Chara.

"Hey Reuben." I say quietly so I can't wake up the others.

"Lukas, you scared me there for a sec, I'm just going to go to my lab and try and make the potion you know."

"Right but Chara also has school so you better wait for a while."

"No problem, I'm kinda running out of ingredients so I'm also going to start looking for them."

"Cool, I was just about to leave to go find the flowers for Jesse."

"How about we both go, that way I can get the ingredients and you can find the flowers."

"Sounds good let's go." I said.

We then left the house to look for the things we need, I just need one thing but I don't know what Reuben needs so this might take a while. I always had feelings for Jesse but I never admit to anyone but Reuben and Petra, and of course Chara figured it out but now I'm telling Jesse that I have feelings for her, all of this is giving me a unpleasant feeling in my stomach since I'm afraid of what she'll say, will she say no or yes. This is scaring me so much right now.

"You okay? You look pale."

"I'm fine, just scared."

"Listen Lukas, you and Jesse have gone through so much together, I know I wasn't there at those moments but you helped Jesse with the White pumpkin, P.A.M.A, and the old builders, you even helped her defeat the Witherstorm. Whatever happens you and Jesse are always there for each other so I'm sure she'll say yes, don't be scared and just do it."

"Thanks and I will ask you again, why don't you take your own advice, you know, for asking out Chara?"

"Uhh, well, um, you see."

"Unbelievable, Cupid doesn't take his own advice on asking a girl."

"Hey! It easy for you and Jesse 'cuz you've known each other for a long time but me and Chara, I left when the Witherstorm died and Chara is just so amazing, I like her but I don't know if she likes me." He says in a sadden tone

"Reuben, I'm sure she likes you."

"Yeah, but what about her old crush that just so happen to show up, whose to say that he won't try and ask Chara out."

"Jesse told me that Chara's feelings for Nathan have disappeared and you and Chara have many things in common, you guys like video games, you both hate being called short, you both like skateboarding, and you two like sweets."

"You make a good point, plus, Chara was the one who showed me how to skateboard." He said with a blush.

"There see, if you tell me not to be scared then you shouldn't be scared to ask out Chara in the near future you know."

"Thanks, I'm happy for you Lukas, I'm known Jesse and if anything, she's someone you want to keep, and I'm happy because for most guys its scary for us to confess, especially on Valentine's Day but you're doing this for real, I'm happy for you."

"Thanks Reuben."

"Now come on, we better get the stuff we need." He said as he ran.

Reuben's right, Jesse is someone you don't want to let go so I better not let this slip by.

--TIME SKIP--

After two hours for trying to find the azure bluet and more ingredients for Reuben we finally found the things we were looking for after so long. We were making our way to the house until I realized, its already 8:49, that means some of our friends are awake and one of them is Jesse, crud! I can't let her see me with this flower, she'll probably wonder what I'm doing with it!

"Reuben, the flower!"

"Just hide it and once Jesse is out of sight give it to me."

"Thanks." I put the flower in my pocket and open the door.

"Hey guys, you're back, Happy Valentine's Day, we went to wake you guys up but you weren't there." Said Jesse.

"I was simply helping Reuben get some more supplies, he's running out and since I was the only one awake I decided to help." I said with a smile

"That's so nice of you, we'll start handing out valentines when Chara gets back okay."

"Okay." I said as she left, "I can't do this."

"Of course you can, just do it." Reuben's said as he punched me.

"Lukas is actually going to tell her today." Said Petra

"Yeah, and he's going to be a man about it." Replied Reuben

"Agree, man up dude, I'm sure Jesse will say yes, Reuben told me about the plan and if anything, how can she say no to that." Said Petra

"You make a fair point, but you and Olivia better not spy on us."

"Aw man, Olivia and I were hoping we could get a picture of you two kissing."

"PETRA!!" I yelled annoyed.

--TIME SKIP--

After a while Chara was back and that's when we started to give each other the valentines, I was going to give the others the cards I made for each of them until I saw that Chara had some cookies.

"Hey Chara, where did you get does cookies?"

"My friend Nathan gave them to me, he bakes and he knew I had a sweet tooth so he baked me cookies." She replied, she walked away to put the cookies in the kitchen until I notice Reuben with a bottle that had the potion in it and he looked upset. I walked over to him and said

"Reuben, just do it okay, I'm sure she'll accept."

"What if she doesn't, she likes sweets and her friend Nathan baked cookies for her."

"I'm sure she'll love yours even more."

"Okay, I'll do it." He said as he walked into the kitchen, I of course followed to see how this would turn.

"Hey Chara?"

"Yeah."

"I know that my valentine isn't a cookie or anything but I made this." He said has he showed her the bottle.

"Oh, what is it?"

"Just, put the final ingredient and you'll see." He said has he gave her the last ingredient.

She put it in the potion and a pink cloud started to come out of it like the previous time, the cloud then disappeared and it said 'Be my Valentine' on it.

"Reuben, I-I"

"You don't have to, I was just wondering."

"Of course I'll be your valentine." She said has she hugged him.

"Aww." The others said has they too were spying on them, when they both figured out what we were doing they blushed.

"Aww, that was so cute." Said Jesse.

"Yeah, agree." I replied "Hey Jess, I was wondering if you wanted to meet me tonight, I want to show you something."

"Sure Lukas."

"Sweet, just dress up nice, not that you already dress nice its just that I want you to where something casual for tonight." I said, oh brother.

" *Giggling* Okay, sure, see you tonight Lukas." She said as she left, oh sweet name of notch.

"Looks like Romeo has a date." Teased Chara

"Quit it."

"I'll help you get ready, let's go."

--TIME SKIP--

I'm standing right now in front of the house wearing a suit and tie for tonight, I'm so nervous, this just scares me.

"Hey Lukas." Said a familiar voice.

I turn my head to see Jesse wearing a red sleeveless top with a white skirt with white stripes, she looks beautiful.

"You like it, Olivia and Petra help me pick it out."

"Yeah, it looks amazing." I said trying to hide my blush.

"Thanks, you look amazing too." She said, "So what did you want to show me?"

"First, I got you some flowers, I know azure bluets are your favorite."

"Thanks."

"And follow me, I'll show you." I said as I took her hand and lead her to the place Reuben was talking about.

We walked for a while until we reached the destination, it had a picnic cloth in the middle with roses and torches all around it, it even had a bunch of flowers around it too with a little lake near by.

"Wow, Lukas, this looks amazing."

"Reuben told me about this spot so I thought it would be a good idea to use it."

"Still, this is amazing and it has a clear view of the full moon."

We walked to the picnic area and started to talk, we normally talked about things of the past or just something that will make each other laugh, it wasn't until Jesse shivered.

"Are you cold?"

"No I'm okay, I'll survive." I shook my head and gave her my jacket, so now I was wearing wearing a fancy shirt with the tie. "Lukas, you shouldn't have."

"I should, you need it more than me." I said, I spotted lights shining our way and I knew that was the signal, I was ready now. "Jess, There's something I need to tell you."

"What is it?"

"Jesse, ever since the day we met I had feelings for you ever since, I couldn't admit them because I was so scared of you rejecting them, but once the witherstorm happened my feelings started to grow more after that. Jesse, you're kind, brave, amazing, selfless, and courages, I love you Jesse, and I was wondering if you would be my valentine and go out with me."

It was silent until Jesse spoke.

"Lukas, of course, I love too, ever since the day we met and you helped me up I knew you were different, I love you too because you always help me when I need, you make me feel better, you're smart,brave,kind, funny, and you have perfect hair, who can argue with that, but I love you 'cuz I know that you'll always be there for me."

"Happy Valentine's Day Jess."

"Happy Valentine's Day Lukas."

After that we kissed, I have to say, this day I will always remember for my entire life.
