Jesse Pov:

Why?

Why did I have to live in the sky?

Why did I have to be a princess?

My name is princess Jessica, princess of sky city and daughter of the founder, Isa, aka my mom. I always wanted to be a adventurer or build something but thanks to my mother's stupid law no one can build without permission or else you are sent to jail, which sucks. My mother is so overprotective of me that it gets annoying, that's why I'm always stuck in the palace, what I would do just to have my life change.

"Jesse, are you okay?" Said a familiar voice

"Yeah, I'm okay Evie." I said, I call Benedict Evie because she is called the Eversource because when she was born she had magical powers so she spawns Eggs with her magic and it must suck for a 12 year old to have that much of a responsibility.

"Well, mom said that you have to meet her in the throne room." She said

"Okay." I then walked to throne room but to see my mother talking with three strangers

"Jessica, thank goodness you're here, I will like you to meet the blazerods, Aiden,Maya, and Gill." She introduced

"Blazerods, this is my daughter Jessica." She said

Aiden looked at me and smirked "It's nice to meet you princess." He said as he kissed my hand, I pushed him away and sat at my throne. "Now, Aiden told me that earlier today there were people building a bridge without authorization and you know that's against the law." She explained "So, maybe they needed to get here and they had no choice." I said.

"Maybe princess, but founder, these people are terrible, they burn down forest for fun, they tame wild animals just to attack people, and their leader Lukas is the most terrible out of them. He made fun of me and my friends for years." He explained, maybe he's right but I only met him today, maybe he's lying

"Tell me how they look like?" My mother asked

"One of them is a old man with a long beard and long black hair, the other is a female who is a red head she also looks like she is ready to fight, the other is a short female with black hair and red eyes basically she is shorter than the others, and finally Lukas, he has blonde hair and blue eyes while wearing black and grey armor." He explained

"Thank you Aiden, I'll tell this to my people." She said

"Jessica, I want you near Aiden 'cause I if anything happens I don't want you getting hurt." She said to me, oh great, I'm next to him.

"Alright."

"Come along."

Lukas Pov:

"Attention! Attention! Everyone, just a moment of your time, please! Emergency meeting! Attendance is mandatory!" Said a random guard

"Oh, slime blocks." Milo whispers

"Curious I wonder what that's all about." Said Ivor

We then walked to the front of the palace where this 'important' meeting was taking place.

"Oh, it's the Founder and the princess." Said someone.

I looked up to see a beautiful girl with black hair and emerald eyes while wearing a green dress (I don't even know why), wow, talk about princess. "Boy, you got to be kidding me." I snapped out of my gaze as Chara said that with annoyed tone. I looked up to see Aiden standing next to the princess and looking at us, Crud!

"People of sky city! I'm sorry to pull you from your duties, but something urgent has come to my attention. A crime has been committed." Said The Founder.

"A crime?"

"What kind of crime?"

"Please remain calm. Earlier today, outsiders built a bridge into our fair city from a distant island!" She explained as two guards opened the gates to reveal the bridge and Ivor's build.

"Now, whether these outsiders know it or not, this is a violation of Sky City's most sacred law: no unauthorized building." She explained as people were starting to complain about this.

"Wait. Was that you? Are you the bridge builders?" Asked Milo "I didn't know it was against the law! It was just a bridge!" I whispered. "This place is crazy, first I can't use my powers and now this, forget this." Complained Chara, I then saw Aiden whisper something to the founder and I know it's not good.

"Lukas, wherever you are, step forward now. I have already been informed of your identity. I appreciate that you may be ignorant of our law, but I warn you: Sky City is small and I promise that if you try to hide, I will find you." She said with a stern voice, it wasn't until a few guards were coming into the crowd.

"We need to get to that Eversource at whatever cost! This is clearly our fastest way into the castle!" Explained Ivor.

"By getting arrested?!" Said Petra

"I've been to detention but this is a new level of crime." Said Chara

"Wait! Don't be fooled by the founder's lies. I can help you come up with a plan to get into the palace." Said Milo as he tried to help us escape until Ivor yelled "Here I am! I build the bridge!" (I am triggered) I knew I couldn't just leave Ivor like this so I Better help him. "Hey, don't treat him like that! We didn't do anything wrong!" I yelled.

"The builders"

"Ha, knew you'd see it my way! Thank you, Lukas. HEY, hand off the robes!" Yelled Ivor

"Guards! Bring them over."

"Lukas, Chara, don't worry, I'll find a way to help you too. I promise!" Said Petra as she ran off with Milo.

"I hope you know what you're doing." Said Chara

"Excuse me! Excuse me!" Yelled a guard as we
were dragged up to the very front of the palace, I was able to see the expression of the founder,Aiden, and the princess, and she looked.. Worried! "We meet at last." Said the Founder "Hello Founder, my name is Lukas." I greeted "So I heard, I hope you know that what you did was against our law but if you do anything to hurt my daughter. There will be serious consequences." She explained as we walked into the palace.

--Time skip to jail time--

Chara,Ivor, and I were sent to prison because of the bridge insistent so now Aiden might get his hands on the Eversource. "You have some interesting stuff in here." Said Reggie (I can't spell his full name okay) "Why did you have to take our stuff?" I asked "If I didn't then what would be the point of jail." He replied. It wasn't until footsteps were coming our way, I checked to see who it was and it was the princess "Princess Jessica, what are you doing here?" Asked Reggie as he saw the princess "I was just here to check things out." She said "I am sorry but I need you to return to your room, your mother doesn't want you here because you always let the criminals go." He explained "Only my friends, I just wanted to check on things, plus, didn't mom say you have to beef up security." She said. "Alright but I'm taking the lever with me just in case." He said as he took the lever and left.

Maybe I might get a chance to talk to her "So your a princess, uh, princess Jessica is a pretty name." I complimented as she looked in the chest "I guess being a princess is hard work with everything that happens-." I was then cut off as a sword went through the bars and was inches to my face "Just try me." She said with anger in her eyes. I stepped back a bit from her not wanting to get hurt "Wow, a princess who fights back, nice." Said Chara, "Now tell me, why are you here?" She asked, if I tell her about the Eversource she might not like that. "Listen, Aiden is going to try and steal the Eversource, you have to believe me when I say it. He has been lying to your mother about this." I explained, the princess looked frightening and said "Alright, I believe you and I'll even lead you to the Eversource, on one condition." .

"Anything."

"You guys let me join." She said

"Deal."

I said, she then took a spare lever and lead us to the Eversource itself. Wow, not only is this girl beautiful but she is kind, feisty, and a rebel, maybe she is the one.

--Time skip--

Jesse Pov:

"Lets look around." Said Petra, I met up with Lukas's other friends and they were pretty nice too. We made it to the spawn eggs room where Evie makes the spawn eggs, it wasn't until we made it to her area and the others were shocked at what they were seeing "The Eversource is a Kid!" Yelled Chara "Hi." Benedict said.

"Guys, meet my sister Benedict or Evie, she was born with the power to spawn eggs." I explained

"Of course, it also explains why the Founder said limited resources, she doesn't want to put to much pressure on her own kid." Explained Lukas

"Well let's just take her and go!" Yelled Ivor,

"The child of the founder and the whole reason why Sky city is still in place, are you sure?!" Yelled Chara

"Nonsense, we have to take her back to the people, that way she can live a normal life." Said Milo

"I think it might be best if we leave her here, it doesn't feel right kidnapping the child of the Founder." Said Lukas, wow, he's really nice. It wasn't until Milo, Ivor, and Petra were thrown to the other side of the room because of my mother, dang.

"I knew, I knew you were here to steal from me." She said as the two Blazerod members surrounded the others and Aiden was next to my mom.

"No, we weren't going to steal your daughter from you." Said Lukas as I held Benedict in my arms. "It's just like I told you founder. They're here to steal the Eversource! Classic order of the stone." He said "You don't say." She replied "Aiden, for once in your life, Shut up!" Yelled Chara.

"Aiden warn me you were a pack of thieves, and here you are, prepared to take of but not only the on thing our city depends on to survive but my own daughter, Jessica I'm very disappointed." She said

"Boy, when you put it like that, I almost feel bad." Said Aiden as he took out a creeper egg "Yep, 'Fraid I'M going to be taking the girl now, she's mine now." .

"What, This is outrageous! Aiden. Don't do this." She said.

"Somebody order eggs." He said as he threw it to me, luckily I was able to dodge it but it exploded. I was there hanging onto the land while I heard voices "I've got Aiden save the princess Lukas." I was then pulled up by Lukas himself "Thanks." I said.

"You stay down."said Aiden as he punched Chara to the floor, he then pushed me and Lukas into the void, everything that happen felt like it was going in slow motion.

So now I'm here screaming at the top of my lungs ready to die until nothing. "I'm so stupid, thinking I girl like me could go on adventures, this whole thing is stupid, now my family is captured, Aiden is ruling Sky City, and I might actually die!" I said as I felt tears starting to form, why did this have to happen?

"Listen, you're not stupid okay,please don't cry, I don't want to see you cry. Please understand that we'll get through this." He said with a calm voice as he grabbed my hand and smiled at me. I smiled back until I looked below us to see something "Land!" Lukas yelled "That's impossible, Lukas?" I asked "We'll get through this." He said.

--Time skip--

Lukas Pov:

We landed in water and I was amazed at all the untouched biomes all around us "Wow, this is incredible!" I said with happiness in my tone, I looked at the princess to see her surprised and worried. "This place is nothing I had seen before." She said "Well, land is going to be a big came changer." I said, she blanked out for a minute until she said "My family, your friends, Sky city, what do we do?" She asked in a worried tone "Just take a deep breath okay, we'll find a way to get back up and beat Aiden but I need you to be okay, alright. I care about you." I said as I blushed.

"How can you care about me when you barely know me?" She said

"I've seen how you are and to be honest, I've never met anyone liked that before, you want to give up everything just to be an adventurer." I said as she hugged me.

She helped me escape so I'm going to help her rescue Sky City
