Jesse Pov:

My name is princess Jessica but I much rather be called Jesse instead,anyway,I live in a kingdom that is ruled over by my mom and dad,Steve and Alex. I was never into the princess act, I was more into adventuring and making friends, I would always sneak off to the village in a black hood because of reasons.

I was reading a book in my room until I heard a knock at my door. I opened it but to only see one of the guards. "Good afternoon princess." the guard said firmly "You don't have to call me that, we're friends." I giggled " I know, but I like calling you that." Said the guards as she took her helmet off to reveal her face.

Chara is head of the guards, she is brave and tough compare to the other guards,and she is the youngest. Everyone knows not to mess with her or disobey her orders.

"But seriously, your mom and dad called me here to tell you to meet them in the meeting room,they have news." She said

"Okay I'll go there, thanks."

I then closed my door and walked to the meeting room. I arrived and I saw my mom and dad "Hello mom and dad, Chara said you had to tell me something." I said curiosity. "Yes,please sit darling." Said my father in a calm voice, I sat down "Listen,Jessica,you know you turned 18 a month ago." Said my mother "Of course." I replied "Well, your father and I are planning to betroth you with someone." She said, wait a minute,what?!

I learned that the word means that you're going to be married with someone in the future but,why now?

"What?! No, I'm not doing this." I said as I ran all the way to my bedroom, I can't believe this. I heard a knock on the door and a voice "Jessica, may I come in?" "Fine." I said, my father then came in and sat on my bed "Jessica, I know you're not looking forward to this but, you have to do it for the kingdom. Think about it, when your mom and I are gone, who's going to rule over, if you do it by yourself it will be too hard." He explained, I guess he is right "Do you understand?" He asked "Yes father." I agreed.

"Good,how about a hug." He said, I hugged after that.

"Okay, I'll go and tell the head guard to tell the other guards to spread the news." He said as he left my room.

This should be interesting.

Lukas Pov:

My name is prince Lukas and I live in a kingdom that is ruled over by my parents and it's near by another kingdom. My parents are always busy so I sometimes sneak out of the palace and into the village.

I heard someone knock on my door and a voice "Lukas, may I come in?" "Sure." I said. The person came in and it was Colin, one of my good friends "Your parents want to see you." He said "Okay." I replied as I left my bedroom to go to the throne room. "You wanted to speak with me, mother and father." I said shyly "Yes,Lukas,we are proud to say that you may be betroth to the daughter of Steve and Alex." Said my mother, princess Jessica!

I heard all about her,how she is kind,caring,smart, and I've seen her before, she is beautiful.

"Wait,how do you know?" I asked

"It's in this message written right here." She said as my father pulled out a scroll "Dear fellow rulers, it's my honor to tell you all that we plan to betroth our daughter with a prince. There will be a few test to know who is the winner, we hope you have received this message and are proud if your son has won the hand of our daughter. Sincerely Steve and Alex." Said my father as he told me the whole message.

"So when is it?" I asked

"Tomorrow, so get ready." my father said

(Next day)

Jesse Pov:

"Hey Jess, you going to be alright?" Ask Chara "Yeah, I'll be fine." I said as I walked past her to get to the room where the princes will be. Don't worry Jesse, I'll be fine, your advantage is that I told my parents what I want in a guy so it'll be fine. I arrived and sat down with my family as princes started to arrive. "Hello fellow princes, I'm proud to say that we are happy that we will give one of you my daughter's hand in marriage ." Announced my mother,great.

"Each of you will perform three test and they will prove who will be the prince for our daughter. But we must warn you, we've let our daughter say what she would like and hopefully one of you can be that prince." She said,this is embarrassing.

"Now on with the test." Said my father

--Time skip--

Lukas Pov:

All of us have made it through the two test in different ways and we're in the last one. "This test will finally prove who will be it, first or last, it will be alright." Said the queen,after she said that we ran, monsters were spawned behind us so that brought more tension. But it wasn't until I noticed a little piggy with a broken hoof, it looked hurt, I can't just leave it here to fend for itself. I picked up the small creature and continued running, I was the last one to make it, the king and queen asked me to meet them in the same room the other princes were before.

"Prince Lukas, I noticed you were the last one to arrived." She said

"Yes"

Why is that?" Said the king

I showed them the baby pig with the broken hoof and I noticed the princess expression, it showed worried.

"The little piglet was wounded and I couldn't leave it to fend for itself." I said.

"Well,congratulations prince Lukas, you have won my heart." Said Jessica,wait what?

"The pig were apart of the race, anyone who saved them would of prove that they are caring, but I never wanted a baby pig to suffer,some of them were adults." Said Jessica

"Well, on my behalf, you are now betroth to the princess." Said queen Alex

It wasn't until the princess whispered something.

"I hoped it would be you."
