Chara Pov (short):

It's been two weeks since the choosing for a prince to be betroth to Jess and it turns out prince Lukas from a near by kingdom was chosen. Figures, we met him during dinner after the competition and when we met him Jesse introduced me to him shortly after and I introduced myself. I care about Jesse and her secrets, even if they get me in trouble.

Jesse Pov:

I want to meet Lukas again but my parents said that his parents won't allow to him to see me until we get married, great, all I wanted was to get to know him better. He seems really nice and sweet and he was such a gentlemen, while I was thinking a little piglet nuzzled on my leg. Lukas saved him from the mobs while doing the race and since then I kept him, I even called him Reuben, I picked him up and pet him on his head.

"Oh Reuben, what am I going to do, I want to see him but I don't want to get in trouble." I said.

"Oink. ( I don't know) " He oinked.

"You can ask a friend for help." Said a familiar voice.

"Hello Chara."

"Hi, now listen, you can see by simply just escaping from the palace and meet him in the village."

"But how is he-"

"I can simply just write a letter and send it to him."

"That's a great idea, thanks Chara!"

"Don't worry about it, I mean, you're going to marry him soon so it seems fair to get to know him."

"Thanks"

Lukas Pov:

Why won't my parents let me see her, I'm going to marry her soon but they said they didn't want anything to happen that will mess the arrange marriage. Princess Jessica seems so nice,caring, amazing *Sigh* I just want to get to met her well, but I guess thanks to my parents I won't get that chance.

Knock

Knock

"Lukas, may I come in." Asked a familiar voice

"Sure Colin, come in."

"Thanks, I just got a letter from King Steve and Queen Alex's head knight."

"You mean Chara, I remember her, what's it say."

"Dear Lukas, Jesse and I have come up with an idea for you and her to meet, just try meeting each other in the kingdom villages and invade your parents come and check up on you, tell someone you trust to help you okay, sincerely Chara." He said

"Colin, will you help me?"

"Of course, you're my best friends."

"Thanks, I'll meet her tomorrow night, tell Chara that, okay."

"Okay" he said as he left

I hope I can see her again

--Time skip to tomorrow night--

I was able to get out of the palace and I told the princess to meet me in her village, I hope she can recognize me in this. I then bumped into a girl and she said

"I'm sorry, I wasn't looking, I was just- Lukas!" It was Princess Jessica.

"Jessica, I'm so glad to see you." I said until I notice something behind her, "Is that the piglet I rescued for you, I'm glad you kept it."

"Yeah, his leg got better and now he goes with me wherever I go." She said as the piglet nuzzled up on her leg.

"Follow me, Want to show you something." She said

Jesse Pov:

Reuben and Lukas followed me as I was going to show Lukas the surprise, we walked until we reached a little hill where you can see the village and the palace from up here. My favorite spot when I was little.

"Woah, what is this?" He asked

"This is where I normally go when I want to get out of the palace... When nobody bows." I said

"Wait, you get out of the palace every night?"

"Normally, yes."

"I do that too, when my parents always pressures me to do royal stuff I always just go to my village and meet the residents."

"Me too, Chara always covers for me when I go out."

"My friend Colin too."

"I always go to this hill 'cause my parents took me here when I was little but now we don't do that so often." I said with a sadden tone.

"My parents always boss me around, we never get to do that stuff, well, mostly my mother."

"I'm sorry about that."

"Don't worry."

It was silent for a while until.

"I'm lucky I met you Jessica."

"I'm lucky to met you too, but you can always just call me Jesse."

"What about Jess."

"I like it when people I'm close to can call me that but since I find you close, okay." I said as he blushed.

"Good... You're not like most princesses, you know."

"What do you mean."

"Well, you always seem to be someone who doesn't want to be told what to do, most princesses just do what their told but you're special." He said as he put his hand on mine, I blushed.

"Thanks, I always wanted someone to say that."

--Time skip--

" *Laughing* Did you really do that when you were 12." He laughed

"Yeah, the chef was screaming really high it was funny."

"Well, I think is time for us to go back home, same time tomorrow or maybe another day?" He asked.

"Sure, but before you leave, I had fun." I said as I kissed him on the lips, he was shocked but kissed back. After a few minutes we separate.

"That was amazing, I'll see you around Jess, you too Reuben."

"See you around, Lukas." I said as I picked up Reuben and left.

It was great getting to know him.
