Hey guys, it's rubymusic 43 again! Since it's around Christmas, I decided to make this chapter a holiday fanfic as a celebration and will be taking a break for a bit.

Just to give ya a heads up, this fanfic chapter is gonna have 3 parts in it.

But, I promise you that I'll resume writing after that since I got friends to go over at for dinner, gift swapping, and so forth. As always, I love you guys and I wish you Merry Christmas, a happy new years and take care. ❤️

Lukari sighed a bit as she looked at the ceiling, thinking to herself, while she sat at the kitchen table.

It's around Christmas Eve and snowing like it would around winter in Noe Town.

Yet, Lukari wasn't so sure if anyone was coming over to her home to celebrate the holiday with her.

She already knows that Yachio, Lucas, Luka, Kakashi and Kaito will be with her to celebrate...

But...What about Edmund, Zaia and the others?

And Xander?

Sure, Lukari hated Xander several years ago when she first met him and he said something that already crossed the line between him and her, but that was in the past.

Xander's like an elder brother to her now and deep down...Lukari really wanted to apologize for being stubborn and all of that to him.

Everytime Lukari has tried to apologize to Xander however, when she sees him, it always backfires and ends up with them fighting each other again.

That is until Yachio and Edmund have to walk over in order to separate and prevent them from tearing at each other's throats.

And not only to make matters worse...Lukari doesn't even have a gift ready for Xander.

Because she doesn't even know what it is Xander wants for Christmas.

As Lukari letted out a another sigh, she laid her head down on the table and closed her eyes.

Thinking and trying to remember what it is that Xander liked and would have wanted.

A few things came into her mind as she remembered the words Xander had said to her: His beloved wife named "Sierra" and his daughter whose name is "Amber", his friends, Rodney, Edmund....

So many things had came into Lukari's head about what it is that Xander probably would have wanted.

But the thing that Xander seemed to have wanted the most for Christmas was his wife Sierra and his daughter Amber.

Lukari would've brought Sierra and Amber back to life in order to make Xander's gift become a reality but there is one little problem...

She would have to give up her life in exchange to bring back Sierra and Amber from the dead and look exactly like who they originally were before their deaths.

Personality and everything.

But, she doesn't want that to happen on Christmas.

Especially since she and Yachio are parents themselves as well and have to continue raising their kids until Lucas and Luka are 18 years old.

And she's probably sure that Xander wouldn't want that either if Lukari did decide on bringing Sierra and Amber back to life as her christmas gift to Xander.

As Lukari continued to think, she eventually grew upset before she went into tears.

While she wept, Yachio and Luka woke up to the sound of Lukari crying before quietly heading downstairs to see what's the matter.

"Mama?" Luka went as she peeked around the corner of the entrance to the kitchen.

Lukari sniffed as she wiped her eyes before looking over and noticing Yachio and Luka standing at the kitchen's entrance, looking at her.

Judging by the looks in their eyes, they were full of pity and questioning what's the matter with her.

Lukari knows that they're gonna ask her what's the matter.

As she kept her gaze on them, Yachio and Luka made their way to Lukari before they embraced her into a hug.

"Lukari...What's the matter? Why are you crying?" Yachio asked as he took Lukari and held her close to his chest while he started rubbing her back soothingly.

Lukari's gaze softened a little as she was embraced in Yachio's arms before she shutted her eyes and buried her face into Yachio's warm, soft, furry chest while she sighed.

After being embraced in Yachio's arms for a bit, along with her face buried in his chest, Lukari eventually parted from him as she sighed before looking up at Yachio and kissing him on the cheek.

Luka looked up at her beloved mother, feeling heartbroken to see her in tears on the night before Christmas, before she started to climb on in order to sit on her mother's lap.

"Mama? Is everything okay?" Luka asked once she successfully got on her mother's lap and looked at her face.

Lukari sniffed again as she shook her head before picking Luka up and holding her close to her chest.

"What's wrong?" Yachio asked again.

"I don't know what to get Xander for Christmas...My only option is to bring his wife Sierra and his daughter Amber, back to life in exchange for mine, as his Christmas gift that he wanted the most." Lukari explained.

"But...I don't want to die...Because, I'm afraid and not sure how would you be able to take care of the kids without my help and support."

Yachio rested his gaze on Lukari as his golden eyes stared into his beloved wife's beautiful ruby eyes before resting one of his paws on Lukari's right shoulder.

"Lukari...You don't need to do this. There's always another way around to find a gift for Xander before Christmas Day arrives. Trust me..." Yachio says before kissing Lukari on the forehead as he took her paws into his.

"But, what if that doesn't happen?" Lukari asked.

"Then I give you permission to do what you feel that needs to be done for Xander. And don't worry about me and how I'll feel...

I've tooken parenting and cooking classes with you before we got married in case situations like this were to occur." Yachio replies as he gave Lukari a warm smile, showing her that everything is gonna be alright.

Lukari nods.

"Okay...But, what about Lucas and Luka?" Lukari asked before looking at her daughter. "The burden of my death will be hard for them to bear and to try to recover from if I die."

"They'll be alright. I'll be sure to comfort them and stay by their side until I'm fully aware that they'll be okay." Yachio replies as he ran his paw through Lukari's really long, blonde hair before moving her bangs away from her face.

Lukari sniffs before nodding.

"Okay...Just please protect Lucas and Luka with your own life like you did with me. Promise me that...." Lukari says as she looked at Yachio straight into his golden eyes.

Yachio nodded.

"I promise, Lukari..." Yachio says.

"What do you promise?" Lukari asks.

"That I'll raise the kids well, stay by their side, and protect them with my life just like I did to you." Yachio replies.

Lukari nods.

"Okay...Now, I'm fully sure that you'll stick to your word on what I said to you..." Lukari sighed before she setted her daughter back down on the floor and embraced Yachio into a tight hug.

Yachio hugs Lukari tightly back as well.

"Now...Go get some rest, Lukari...I'll be with you shortly after I put our little angel back to bed...

Christmas Day will be here tomorrow and so will our friends." Yachio says as he deeply kissed Lukari on the lips before resting his forehead against hers.

Lukari smiled a bit before she got up, kissed Yachio on the cheek again and headed off to bed.

After Yachio sent Luka back to bed, he headed back into the bedroom Lukari and him were sharing together, since they've been married, and got in the bed with Lukari.

Then he dozed off after wrapping his arms around Lukari's waist as he pulled her close to him to keep her warm.
