Lukari's POV

As I entered back into the living room, I shutted the basement door behind me and locking it up too before heading over to see my beloved children.

Luka was the first one I stopped by to see, because I know how much pain she might've went through after finding out the news that I left Serene Village for a while.

The poor girl must've felt heartbroken about it too.

As I headed upstairs and approached her bedroom, I knocked before opening the door a crack, peeking in.

I looked over and saw Luka sitting in a chair as she was looking out the window, staring at the cherry blossom tree that's in our backyard.

"Luka? Sweetie? Look who's came back to see you again..." I said before I opening the door wider and entering in her room.

Luka turned around and looked over at me, seemingly to have cried a few hours ago, before her face suddenly dropped in shock.

"Mama!" Luka shrieked before she got off the chair and ran over to me.

I smiled and got down to my knees before embracing Luka into my arms and giving her a hug.

Luka hugged me back tightly before I heard her crying and hiccuping.

"Aww. Don't cry, Luka. You shouldn't be sad." I said to her soothingly.

"I'm not *hic* sad! I'm just *hic* so happy to *hic* see you again!" Luka said between hiccups as she buried her face into my chest before continuing to cry.

I could only smile again in response before I started shushing Luka gently while rubbing her back soothingly.

Luka cried and hiccuped a little for almost an entire hour before she completely stopped.

As she parted from me, I leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek before looking at her.

I chuckled a little as Luka looked at me before she kissed me back on the cheek too.

"I missed you so much. It hurted me after you left. I couldn't stop thinking about you and was hoping that you'd return.

Every once in a while, I couldn't stop crying because it's so lonely here without you." Luka says as she sniffed a little.

"I know, sweetie...And I'm really sorry for this." I replied before cuddling her.

Luka didn't say anything else and hugged me tightly again as she shutted her eyes and buried her face into my neck.

"I wanted to come with you so bad but I knew that it would be certain death for me to try since I'm only a riolu.

Plus, I don't even know my way around and I could get lost, kidnapped, or something even more worse than that if I did try to follow you." Luka mentions as she sighed a little before opening her eyes and looking at me.

I nodded.

"Yes. And I'm very glad and proud of you for not leaving the house in order to follow me." I replied, kissing her on the forehead.

"Let's go see your brother now, I'm sure he'd like a visit too."

Then I stood up and carried Luka in my arms before heading out of her bedroom and making my way to Lucas' room.

Luka smiled at me before she curled up in my arms and shutted her eyes again.

Never wanting to be separated from me again.

As I approached Lucas' room, I knocked on the door and waited.

The door opened, revealing him.

After he letted me in the room, and I setted Luka down on the bed, Lucas and Kaito immediately tackled me into a hug.

"We missed you so much!" Lucas and Kaito said in unison.

I started laughing a little bit.

"I did too when I was gone. I couldn't wait to see you two again." I replied as I hugged them tightly.
