Lukari's POV

Then I pulled out two tranquilizer guns, already loaded and ready, before aiming both of them right at Xoph and Zathei's backs.

Sniping is one of my hidden skills that I'm good at. It's also my favorite technique when I'm targeting the pokémon who shouldn't have killed my friends and loved ones.

Shortly after aiming, I pulled the trigger and fired the tranquilizer darts.

Xoph and Zathei froze before quickly looking around to see where the noise came from before the tranquilizer darts hitted them in the back.

I smirked again after they fell to the ground, knowing that they're gonna be asleep for a while, before I leaped out of the tree and hurried over to them.

I pulled the tranquilizer darts out of their backs before putting them up along with the tranquilizer guns.

Then I brought out two trash bags and putted Xoph and Zathei in them, separately, before tying the bags up.

Once the bags were tied up, I sent a message to Yachio before I left Lively Town and started heading my way back to Serene Village in less than an hour.

Don't ask me when did I get the tranquilizer guns and the trash bags.

Because, it's a long story and it'll waste my time.

Yachio's POV

As I was sitting at the kitchen table, I sighed a little before drinking the tea I currently made a few minutes ago.

I suddenly heard a tap on the window and noticed that Lukari's sent me a message.

I laid out a blank scroll before I opened the window and letted the bird in.

Then it flew over and landed on the blank scroll before turning to black ink and showing me the message.

"Yachio, I'm coming back to Serene. Have the door open and ready for me."

I grew shocked and so happy about this that I went upstairs and told Lucas, Luka and Kaito about it after I left the door open for Lukari.

Lucas, Luka and Kaito were thrilled when I told them the news.

"I'm so happy! Mother's coming back!" Lucas says as he smiled before hugging Luka in joy.

I hugged him and Kaito too as I nodded in agreement.

It's been by a month and a half since Lukari left.

And despite that it's around June, that means it'll be her birthday soon.

I heard a knock before the sound of footsteps came in next.

Me, Lucas, Luka and Kaito hurried downstairs and found Lukari standing at the entrance of the door I left open for her.

She was carrying two black trash bags, giving me the hint that she decided to kidnap the murderers and torture them later.

As Lukari noticed me, she setted the trash bags aside before we ran and embraced each other into a tight hug.

Lukari and I had tears in our eyes as we held each other close.

"You have no idea how much I was worried sick about you and how much I missed you." I said as I looked at Lukari.

Lukari nodded.

"I felt the same way too when I was away. I was a little scared that something might've happened to you." She replied before we kissed.

I noticed that she was covered in blood as we parted. It was all over the place and everything.

She even had some in her hair too.

"Arceus, Lukari! Did you get hurt?" I asked worriedly.

Lukari looked over herself for a moment, seeing the blood.

"Oh, this? Naw. I'm okay. The blood isn't mine. I've bumped into several Dark Matter agents and followers before killing them." She explained.

"They were getting in my way when I was heading back to see you again."

"So, that's why..." I went.
