Kadon's POV
After I read that, I sighed in annoyance and handed the paper back to Edmund, frustrated about this.
"Unbelievable. It's just another fucking letter...Why did I even bother to come here anyways in order to gather and learn more information about Lukari?"
I went as I plopped down on the couch, next to Zaia.
Edmund shrugged and laid the letter down on the table as he sat down beside Zaia too, on her left.
When Edmund and Zaia were getting married years ago, before Arlo and Arlielle came in the picture, I was really concerned about Zaia.
To make it short, I made sure Edmund promised me that he'd take very good care of Zaia.
I groaned little as I stared at the letter for a bit until I noticed Zaia was starting to grow curious about it before she picked it up and read what Lukari wrote down to me.
Zaia scanned the letter again after reading the message before she tilted her head to the left side in confusion before looking at me.
"Um...Kadon?"
"What?"
"Were you paying close attention to the letter? Because I see something a little bit off about it..."
"Wait...What?!" I began as I looked over at Zaia in shock.
"Huh???" I heard Edmund went.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked.
"See those letters and words in bold?" Zaia began. "Lukari never does that when she's writing a letter to anyone. Me an' Eddy have seen how Lukari writes."
"Lemme see." Edmund says as Zaia gave him the letter before scanning it.
Everything was silent for a moment as Edmund re-read the letter Lukari wrote for me in invisible ink.
"Zaia's right, Kadon. Lukari never does this when she writes letters to any of us..." Edmund says before handing it to me.
I looked at the letter again and noticed the same thing that Edmund and Zaia had noticed.
There were certain words and letters written in bold.
I grabbed a nearby blank sheet of paper and a black ink pen before writing the bolded letters and words down.
Me, Edmund and Zaia instantly realized the letters and words were scrambled up, so with their help, we managed to unscramble them with ease.
"Kadon, The truth is that I am a host for the demon to be sealed away and to put an end to this for good. Yaruichi is still in there."
I scratched my head in confusion as Edmund's face paled while Zaia was in complete shock.
"Host for the demon? Sealed away? Put an end to this for good??? Yaruichi is still in there????
What is this supposed to mean? This isn't making any sense at all." I went as I sat up before looking over at Zaia.
Tears appeared in Zaia's eyes as she looked away from me while covering her mouth with one paw.
"Zaia? What's wrong?" I asked as I quickly grew concerned.
"She can't be serious..." Zaia says as she looked at the floor.
I noticed that Edmund was crying as well because I seen tears running down to the sides of his face too.
Then he got up from the couch and went to get a tissue before heading over and sitting back down.
"What is? What is it that Lukari can't be serious about?" I asked.
Edmund and Zaia didn't respond for a few minutes before they stopped crying silently to themselves.
"If Lukari seals the demon away and puts an end to his life, just by using her body, Lukari could..." Zaia began to explain before she started trailing off.
"What? What will happen to Lukari? I need to know what's going on, Zaia..." I begged.
Edmund looked over at me before he finished the sentence for Zaia as he sniffs.
"Lukari could die, Kadon..."
