After I left the house, I began to walk the streets.

My first stop is heading over to Edmund and Zaia's house.

But, before I could knock on the door, I suddenly changed my mind as I lowered my paw.

No.

I don't want to.

If I visit them for a bit before saying goodbye to them, Edmund and Zaia would be really concerned and worried about me so much that they might try to stop me from leaving Serene Village.

And that would draw a lot of attention.

Plus, it's around the middle of the night. I'm sure them and their kids are probably asleep, not wanting to be disturbed and woken up.

So, instead, I took out a notebook and a black ink pen before I started to write my goodbye letter for them.

I also mentioned that I'd stop by Serene Village every once in a while, to see how things are going, in the letter.

After I was finished writing my goodbye letter, I opened their house's window and snuck in quietly before laying the letter down on a table in their living room.

Then I got a book from a nearby shelf and laid it on the letter, sideways, so the letter is more secure and noticeable.

Shortly after I was finished doing that, I quietly snuck back out of their house before shutting the window and locking it up tightly.

Just like the way it was before.

Then I walked away from Edmund and Zaia's house before making another stop at the cemetery to say goodbye to Xander and promising that I'd avenge him.

Even though it was his choice to die, I still don't care and will avenge him anyways.

And I'm sticking to my word on that.

Once I made a visit to Xander's grave, I continued my way and headed over to the gates.

Before I could take another step, I was suddenly stopped by someone, who appeared out of nowhere and landed right in front of me.

That "someone" is Kadon.

"Lukari, why are you here? It's around the middle of the night." Kadon asked as he walked over to me.

"I'm leaving the village for a bit, my husband will fill in as Lord of Noe Town for me until I return for good.

However, I'll stop by and visit to see how Serene Village is doing every once in a while." I said.

"Where are you going?" Kadon asked.

"That is classified information and I will not say anything about it. And don't worry about me though....I'll be fine. I'll keep my guard up at all times." I said in response.

Then I resumed walking to the gates as I passed by him.

I paused for a moment before I turned to look at Kadon for a moment, my ruby eyes gleaming from the moonlight that was shining on them.

"I got a question though..."

"What?"

"Can I have a look at the murder weapon for a moment?" I asked. "I want to do some research on the weapon while I'm away."

"Uh...Sure. I guess." Kadon says as he brought the katana out.

I took the katana and started to observe it.

Judging by the looks of it, it's really old and ancient. Surprisingly, it's still in it's condition and useable to fight others with.

Xander's blood was already cleaned off the katana to my surprise.

I caught the killer's scent on the handle and thought to myself, "Grovyle. A female grovyle did this to him.

A male decidueye was included and is with her. Their names are Zathei and Xoph." in my head.

Then I looked at Kadon for a moment before lowering the katana.

"Kadon? I got one more thing to tell you..."

"What is it?" Kadon asked as he looked at me.

"Thanks for everything..." I said before I placed my paw on his forehead, making him suddenly fall asleep.
