-Hours later-

I groaned a little as I came to before I began to open my eyes.

I looked over and noticed Yachio lying next to me, asleep, while he was holding me close to his soft, warm body.

"Yachio..." I began as I nudged him gently by the arm with my paw.

Yachio moved his head a little before he opened his eyes and looked over at me.

Then he smiled a bit before he reached over and rested his paw on the right side of my face.

"Hey....You alright my beautiful hime?" Yachio asked as he lowered his paw from my face and started rubbing my back soothingly after he pulled me a bit more closer.

I looked over at Yachio and smiled back as I nodded.

I like it when Yachio calls me a "hime".

Such a pretty word even though it means "princess" in this human language called "Japanese".

Then Yachio leaned over and kissed me on the forehead before parting from me.

"I'm really, really glad. You scared me half to death when you started hyperventilating." Yachio said as he looked at me by the eyes. "I was terrified that you were gonna die."

I chuckled a bit.

"There's no way that's gonna happen...I promised myself that I would live with you and the kids as well.

And I've stuck to my word because I'm still alive today." I said before me and Yachio kissed.

"You sure did. When you make promises like that, you're serious about it." Yachio replied after we parted.

I nodded as we sat up on the bed.

"Let me get your medicine...I couldn't give it to you because you passed out and I wouldn't want you choking on it if you were still conscious." Yachio says before he stood up and putted a bathrobe on after he got out of the bed.

I rubbed my eyes a little before I rested my gaze back on Yachio.

"How long have I passed out?" I asked.

"6 hours." Yachio replied as he picked up the medicine bottle and got out the right amount of pills that I needed.

I looked at the digital clock, that was right next to the bed, and noticed that it was around 6:30 in the evening.

"It felt longer than that...." I said as I looked back at Yachio.

Yachio chuckled a little as he handed me the medicine and a cup of water.

"I'm not surprised. That can happen a lot. First, you think time's going by really fast or really slow until you check the clock." Yachio said as he sat back down on the bed, next to me.

I agreed on that concept as I took my medicine before drinking the water that Yachio gave me.

"Yachio? Can I see our kids?" I asked.

"Sure...I'll go check and see if they're awake. I'll let them know that you wanted to see them." Yachio replied as he got up before kissing me on the forehead.

Then he left the room after I smiled.

I yawned a little before I lied back on the bed and looked at the ceiling.

I wonder if Kururuki and Mitsushuki made it out of Noe Town when I told everyone to evacuate.

They probably did.

I shook my head, getting the thought out, not wanting to worry myself.

I hope they're alright.

As I continued looking at the ceiling, I suddenly heard the footsteps of my beloved daughter, coming over to the bedroom.

I sat up as I saw Luka appear at the door before she ran over to me, giggling as she always does, and got on the bed.

Luka bounced on the bed a little before I embraced her in my arms, chuckling as I looked at her.
