After I remembered that, I looked over at Yachio and smiled at him while he was busy making dinner.

That was the first time I met him before we became friends.

Even though I still got bullied every day when I was younger, I became closer to Yachio.

Then the next two years, me and Yachio fell in love before Lucas was born when I was only 9 years old.

I was suddenly afraid that Yachio would abandon me after I had Lucas and gotten even more afraid that Yachio would treat me like crap.

But Yachio stayed by my side after I gave birth to Lucas and helped me raise him.

We never argued or even started fighting with each other.

And right after me and Yachio were confirmed as citizens of Noe Town, we got married at age 10 and started living together in the house that I lived at for almost my entire life.

I never knew that Yachio was such a mature, kind, and a very respectful pokémon to me.

He never left my side at all.

Eventually, at age 20, I gave birth to Luka.

Yachio still continued to help me raise Lucas and Luka today without a single problem with me and our children.

I'm just so happy.

When I met Yachio and fell in love with him, he told me that I was the very first girl he fell in love with.

"Mama? Are you okay?" I suddenly heard Luka speak up, snapping me out of my thoughts, as she tugged on my kimono sleeve a little.

"Yeah. I'm okay, sweetie..." I replied. "Why do you ask?"

"Because I see tears in your eyes. And they're running down to the sides of your face..." Luka replied as she pointed at my cheeks.

I rested a paw on one side of my face and felt something warm and wet.

"Am I crying?" I thought to myself.

Luka was right from what she told me.

I sat down next to Luka before I picked her up and buried my face into Luka's warm, soft chest while I was embracing her into a hug.

"Why am I feeling this way?" I think to myself again.

Luka hugged me back after I parted from her.

"Mama?" Luka began.

"Yeah?" I responded.

"If anything happens, and you're upset, just let me know...Okay? I'll always be by your side." Luka says to me.

I suddenly felt emotional about what Luka said, that I gave her another hug while more tears appeared and started streaming down the sides of my face.

"Yes...Thank you, Luka..." I said with my voice cracking a little.

"Why do I feel this way? It's rare for me to show any other emotions except when I'm happy." I continued thinking to myself.

Luka smiled as she looked up at me before I kissed her on the cheek.

"I'd say the same thing to you too, mama....You, onii-chan, and papa meant a lot to me very much. I'm very happy and grateful that I became your daughter and got to be raised by you..." Luka replied.

I suddenly felt touched by what Luka said to me.

No one has ever said that to me other than my husband and my sister.

Before my sis died that is.

I was really speechless about that.
