I forgot to mention I have insomnia. But now I know the toll. My eyes felt heavy and Lizzy agreed and locked the door of a room we were hiding in, to make sure the shadow man doesn't get me and her in our sleep, she put the special salt at the door in a line, she said it would protect us. She is my protector, without her I wouldn't know what to do. But she's been acting rather, strange lately. She's constantly laughing at me for no reason, and she continues to sit facing a corner laughing at it like its the most amazing thing in the world. Me and Lizzy will sleep now.

We woke up whe we heard the sound of a door opening. We sat up and the shadow man was staring right at us. I stayed still, like Lizzy told me, because he can't see us if we move, he is blind. I held my breath until he left once again. I told Lizzy we need to leave. She nodded and grabbed my hand and we ran again, we went down about 10 more flights of stairs. We hit the floor that was the cafeteria area and hid under a table because we knew the drill, run, hide, repeat. But what terrified me was that he started crawling and looking under benches and tables. I squeezed my eyes shut and held my breath once again. He thankfully passed our table. I mentally sigh a breath of relief. We run again. 12 flights of stairs gone. 23 floors to go. I am getting scared of all the eyeless sleeping people, I cover my eyes if we see a lot of them. Lizzy is stronger than me, she is braver and smarter. We saw a bunch of eyeless people who had braids around their necks, they had dyed it red. Lizzy said this is one of the birthday gifts she made for me. She got everyone to dye their hair and clothing red. She laughs darkly and dances. I hug her and thank her for doing that for me. We continue on down the stairs. I saw some people with their blankets over their heads, they looked very cozy, but I wonder why the shadow man hasn't gotten them yet, I guess the sleeping people don't move too much so he doesn't see them? I saw Doctor Elder had lost his eyes too but in replacement of his eyeballs, there were marbles. I kept running away from the shadow man with Lizzy by my side. On the 20th floor, the whole room stunk of a metallic scent and I nearly slipped on this dark substance but Lizzy caught me.

'Drip drip drip'

A steady dripping sound came from the ceiling, the sound of water running! When we turned the corner I saw there were loads of eyeballs and guts on the ground. Intestines were hanging from the ceiling, and the walls were splattered with the dark substance, organs lay on the ground, up ahead, hollow bodies of nurses lay on the ground. Me and Lizzy continue running, the shadow man doesn't seem to be following us anymore. We are at 13 flights of stairs now, so close. Lizzy seems to be more deranged and unnaturally happy looking, she's starting to scare me.

"Chao-Gomen da-fein dro-hasha-karasma-dezejin-pozantizar grazna-geiza comen-tabit" Lizzy chanted another weird language and the dead nurses bodies started to walk, only then did I realize they were headless. They stood in a line behind us in rows while others helped push the knocked over hospital beds to block the way. "What are they doing Lizzy?" I asked, she chuckled and patted my head. "They're protecting us silly!" She replied smiling. We hid in one of the rooms again and sadly, there was a boy without his head in there, we decided to burn his body and hang some words to make him be happy.
