Today is my birthday! I'm so excited! So is Liz! Liz is my twin sister, she's been beside me all my time in these padded walls. So me and her are gonna ask Miss Rosa if we can have a chocolate birthday cake with a ton of icing and sprinkles. This is my birthday present from my mother. She said I can write all of my adventures here in this book, so I will! I have a sketchbook Miss Rosa put together for me also, she said I can draw anything I want. I've only used it once though. I love my red crayon, it's the only colour I use besides the black crayon to draw my pictures. I hide all the drawings under my pillow because I don't want Miss Rosa to make me go to sleep. But I'll describe one of them. I drew death killing my dad and my grandmother and killing my brother Liam. He's so lucky he isn't in here, he has a job, a career, and a girlfriend. But he misses out on all the fun during playtime with me and Lizzy. We like to sit in the corner and chant these weird songs Lizzy taught me. But they're secret. I can't tell any of it to anybody. I want to sleep now. Night night!
