I stared at her as she looked timid and a bit stuck "Can we talk?" I stepped off my board and walked towards her. Towering over her as she looked up at me "Seems you've replaced me?" She said with a small smile "More or less? What do we need to talk about?" She blushed and held her hands

"I'm sorry you got kicked out of the academy..I didn't think-" "Anya that was months ago! Just leave it in the past..I've moved on" I said as I started to walk away but she held my arm "Keith please..it wasn't my intention for you to get kicked out! I knew how much it meant to you because of your family history" I pulled her away from me

"Don't even bring that up about my history..you know nothing about me or my family! I was adopted!" I groan and got on my board "Keith wait! Please stop!" I ignored her and went home. As i entered I rushed upstairs "Keith? Whoa what's wrong?!" Shiro said as he grabbed my wrist before I entered my room

"Shiro please let me calm down first..we'll talk later" he understood and let me go and I shut the door and went crazy! I threw everything in my once cleaned room and I was screaming while I bet Shiro was downstairs waiting for me to calm down.

After a good hour I was on my bed looking at the destruction I left in my bedroom. There was a hole near my bed, my clothes everywhere and my desk is thrown down with papers and files all over the ground. I stood up and walked downstairs to see Shiro with a cup of tea, he smiles at me as I took the seat beside him

"Feeling better?" I nodded and held the cup he handed me "Good..by the sounds of your anger this either means..someone pissed you off or someone from the past came back?" I looked at him and he knew "It was Anya wasn't it?" I sigh and nodded

"She just wanted to talk, I gave her a chance but she just brought up the past and then about my past and my real parents..I just couldn't listen anymore" I held my head as Shiro comforted me "Hey..it's okay, take it easy" I tried but nothing seemed to relax me.

After a few minutes I heard knocking "I thought Allura had keys?" I said smirking at Shiro he just rolled his eyes "She does..maybe it's Nick or something?" Shiro left and opened the door I waited until I heard more footsteps as I look there stood Lance.

My heart started racing a bit and my face flushed a bit. I still haven't gotten over Friday night where he almost kissed me. "Lance is here?" Shiro raised a brow and took off towards the living room "What are you doing here Lance its like 9pm?" He sighs and walks towards me

"I wanted to apologize for my actions friday? I made you feel incredibly uncomfortable and I didn't mean that at all! I'm really sorry and I couldn't think straight since I saw you with Pidge..earlier today. I was gonna apologize but I got nervous so I took a sip from your smoothie" I chuckled a bit

"And I was being serious when I said you have a cute laugh.." I held my breath as he came closer and I could feel myself blush more "Thanks Lance..uh you wanna talk a bit in my room?" He looks surprised and takes a moment "Is that okay with you? I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable?" I shook my head "No, and I might actually need help cleaning my room"

he looked at me a little off "Do I want to know?" I shrugged "If you like? But when we are in my room" he nods and we go upstairs "Leave the door open" Shiro says as we pass by "Yes sir" lance chuckles "You call your brother sir?" I nodded "Yeah..I felt like I had to since he's a teacher" he nods

"Whoa! It's like a tornado came into your room?" I nodded "Yeah letting you know..this only happens when I'm pissed off or very angry" lance looked worried "Remind me to never get you mad? Like ever?" I smirked and he helped me put back my desk and other things back in place "That's a big hole" I nodded

"Yeah..I'll tell Shiro to fix it tomorrow" he nods and sits on my bed "So what caused you to explode?" I took a deep breath and sat beside him "An old friend of mine, she stopped me and wanted to talk..I let her but she started bringing up the past and I don't want to hear it..I haven't seen her in months and out of nowhere she shows up! I ugh!"

Lance puts his hand on my shoulder and I relax a bit "Hey, take it easy don't want you to explode again" I chuckled a bit and he smiles "So a girl you used to know came back and wanted to talk but just brought up the past?" I nodded "Pretty much..like She knows me? She knows I'm adopted but she thinks of something else about my birth parents but I..I just didn't want to continue" he sighs

"Hey you don't have to continue if you feel awful about it..I get it" I looked at him confused "You do?" He nods "Yeah, you try to hide things in past because you don't want to dwell on it..but it's still there but it's important to think your future instead of the past..trust me I've been there" he lowered his head and sigh softly

"Lance, you don't have to try so hard? Just be you?" I gave him a sincere smile and he nods "Thanks Keith..dude I'm sorry about the other day I don't know what came over me" I laughed a bit "Lance its okay, I was just caught off guard and no guy actually tried kissing me.."

I blushed and he smirks "So..you are into guys?" I rolled my eyes "Yes Lance, I'm into guys cause I'm gay okay" he smiles "Good to know..well I should be heading home I took my sister's car" I nod "Alright see you at school" he nods and stops at my door "Can I get your number? Just in case I need something?"

I laughed "Dude stop making it obvious you like me..give it" he pulled his phone out and I typed my name and number "There..just text me it's you alright? Also thanks for listening to me" he nods "No problem buddy, if you need someone to vent to I'm here?" I nodded and I did something that I never pictured I ever do with anyone.

I hugged him, he was taken back but he hugged back which was comforting "Funny..didn't picture you as a hugger but I ain't complaining" he laughs and I blush "Yeah I made it awkward didn't I?" He shakes his head "No..it was nice" I lowered my head

"Okay I need to go, bye Keith I'll text you when I get home" I nodded and I watched him run towards the car and leave in the night "Wow..you hugged him? Are you sure you don't like him?" I blushed and glared at Shiro "Shut up! I don't like him like that Shiro! Get your head out of the clouds!"

He laughs and pulls me into a brotherly hug "Stop being stubborn, you'll get wrinkles..now is there a hole in the wall in your room?" I nodded "Yeah just one, it's near my bed" he nods and heads towards the shed "I'll fix it now..go eat please" I nodded as he left and I warm up the leftover Chinese food.

It was weird how I vented to Lance and we're barely friends but now it seems like we are? He even apologized about the almost kiss. God why didn't I let him? Wait?! What am I saying?! My twisted mind! I chuckled lightly and grab my food from the microwave and start eating. I hear Shiro hammering from upstairs and I feel horrible for even doing that but I can't help it.

I was dreading for tomorrow knowing Anya might come and stop by the house. I really don't want to talk to her at all?! She always gets into trouble and I always take the heat for her and this time I got kicked out for good. As Shiro came down he smiles

"All fixed and I left your window open so the smell doesn't stay. Tomorrow I want you to paint it I have a meeting with some coaches at school" I nodded "Alright do we have any left?" "Nope..I'll leave money on the counter to go buy some"

I nodded and headed upstairs "Thanks Shiro!" I yelled as I walked into my room as I dropped into my bed my phone went off (unknown- Hey there it's me Lance! ) I smirked and put him in my contacts and decided to sleep.

The next morning I woke up to birds chirping and cars passing by. I forgot Shiro left the Windows open, I shut them and get ready for the day. As ate I noticed the money on the counter and I grabbed it and headed towards the store. As i walking I passed by Pidges house and i see her on her porch.

I stop and go greet her "Hey nerd" I said with a grin and she smirks "Hello there alien boy, what are you doing up at..9 in the morning? Shouldn't you be sleeping on?" I chuckled "I'm buying paint because I need to paint over something..trust me I'll be knocked out when I get it" she smirks

"I heard you yelling..yesterday? Are you okay?" I nodded "Yeah..hey want to come with me?" She nods "Sure let me get my shoes" I nodded and she came out with black toms and a hoodie and shorts as her hair was messy like always "ready?" She nods and we head out

"What were you doing in the computer?" She yawns "Scrolling through tumblr and my blog..that's all I do in the weekends" I chuckled and thought about telling her about Lance "You know lance came over my house yesterday" she turned her head and grinned "What?! No he didn't? Why?!" I sigh

"He wanted to apologize for the smoothie thing..we just talked a bit and he took off" Pidge giggled and I was confused "Your face is red, do you like him?" I shook my head "No, I don't like him! Why would say that?!" She shook her head "Dude your blushing just talking about him? You're falling for him" I sigh "You don't know that..surely I don't either"

Was it true? I'm falling or lance? Why? All we do is talk and actually take time to chat? As we entered the store I looked for the black paint, Pidge was on her phone probably in Snapchat by the way she stuck her tongue out. I rolled my eyes finding the cheapest one.

"Hey Keith do you have Snapchat?" I nodded "I do..why are you asking?" As I pulled a small paint can "Cause lance asked" I pause and look at her with a flushed face "Are you snapchatting him?" She nods "Yeah also he saw my story..I posted a photo of you looking for paint and he texted me afterwards" I groan

"Pidge he asked for my number yesterday I don't want him sending me pictures of himself or anything I don't really want to see" I kept looking until I found it "15.99? This is the cheapist one? Fucking stab me" as I said that Pidge stabbed me with a screwdriver "What the fuck?! Pidge?" I rubbed my side as she giggles "You said someone stab you" I scoff

"I didn't mean literally? Wait are you..you fucking bitch" I stuck my middle finger as I covered my face with my hand "Oh come Keith its for lance" I shook my head "If he wanted it I'll give it to him" she giggles and smirks at me evilly "What did you do?" "I sent you saying you'll give him your snap" I face palm and went to the check out with her still behind

"have a nice day" "You too" I smiled at the cashier and left the store with Pidge following behind "Keith you love me..don't be mad at me please forgive me" I kept my head lowered as my phone started buzzing and I check and saw 6 messages from lance and they all had emojis on them..ugh

Pidge looked guilty but it was soon replaced with a grin "Well seems lance is waiting for us to show up" I blushed and glared at her "Why do you do that?" She pokes my face and walks towards her porch and I watch as Lance jogs towards me "Hey Keith..you look pissed off" I nodded

"Well Pidge recorded me and posted it on snapchat" he chuckles a bit "Yeah..I didn't know you had it?" I started walking as he followed "No one really does..I used to use it all the time because of my old friend..but I stopped" Lance lowers his head "The one that made you mad yesterday?"

I nodded and surprised that he sounded concerned about me "Yeah" he puts his phone away as we walked towards my place in silence "Lance why are you still walking with me?" He smirks which makes my heart race "Because it's Sunday and I'm bored and I don't want to be with my family..so I figured why not hang with you? Only if you like seeing as Pidge got you upset?"

I chuckled softly "It's fine..Shiro isn't home and I have to paint my wall from the hole I left" he nods "He fixed it?" "Yeah last night actually? After you left.." he nods and we finally get to my house and the car isn't here so Shiro isn't home "Alright, hey wait here I'll be back with the paint brushes and tarp"

he nods and I quickly run towards the shed and get a couple brushes "Back..what are you doing?" He pulled off his light blue shirt and looked at me "I don't want to ruin my shirt..I'm pretty messy when I paint so..is this weird for you?" I lowered my head and shook my head

"Of course not..let's just move stuff off my wall" he helps and sets them on my bed and I open the can and move it around "Hey Keith" "What Lance?" "Would you ever change the color of your bedroom?" I looked around noticing the black "Not really? Why?" "Well during the summer, weren't you dying in here?"

As I tried to recall I was slightly dying until Shiro bought me an A.c. "um somewhat.." he looks around "Maybe a red or a gray would suit your room" I smiled a bit "Your room is a royal blue right?" Remembering what color his bedroom was "Yeah..my favorite color" nod as we start painting.

Lance started humming something in Spanish well I think it was cause I didn't understand it? I didn't pay attention until I accidentally painted his hand in the dark paint. I gasp as he looked shocked and I couldn't help but laugh and he looked annoyed "Keith..really?"

I nodded with tears in my eyes until I felt the liquid dripping down my face "Now it's fair" he started laughing and I painted his face and for a few seconds we were staring at each other until we started a paint war. Paint all over his sunkissed skin, I lost my focus when we both froze as I roam across his chest and seeing his eyes look at me attentively

"Keith.." his voice sounded like a whisper and I blushed as he leaned closer until someone cleared their throat "What is going on?" I jumped and moved away from lance "Shiro! Um it's not what it looks like!" He chuckles and looks at lance who is smeared in black paint

"Sure..at least the wall is painted" lance chuckles but I felt kinda embarrassed "Keith go shower please..and Lance you can take a shower in my guest bathroom" lance nods and follows Shiro and I stay put "What the actual fuck?!" I whisper yell as I grabbed clean clothes and head to the bathroom. I scrubbed my hair and face and arms seeing all of the dark paint wash off and going down the drain.

I almost kissed Lance! Just a few minutes ago?! What the hell is going on with me? I've never felt like this with anyone before? But it's something in lance that I'm falling for. I finish my shower and put my headband to keep my way hair from covering my face. As i went downstairs I see Lance drying his hair and notice he's in shiro's basketball shorts and his shirt from earlier

"Hey..nice headband didn't really think you would?" I rolled my eyes "Well I only use it when I wash my hair" he smirks and I cross my arms "Lance I'm sorry for painting your hand..it was by accident" he chuckles "It's cool, it was pretty funny when we had a mini war in your room" we say down on the couch looking at our phone's until lance opened his Snapchat and faced the camera towards me

"Lance..no I don't want to be in there" I covered my face and he pulled my arms away "Please just one pic? I won't post it honest" I sigh and moved closer towards him and we took a quick photo. As he showed me i smiled "You look good keith..so can I have your name? Please?" I chuckled and nodded "Sure..it's Aliens_Boy17 don't make fun of me" he smirks and finds my name

"Dude you have 89,345 points?" I nodded "I told you I used to be in there all the time..that's nothing compared to Shiro and Allura" as he was gonna ask Shiro stepped in "Me what?" "Snapchat" he smirks and sits beside me "Oh..I have 110,365 points I use it all the time" lance looked at Shiro "Allura and you are friends?" Shiro chuckles

"Yes we're quite close? Why you ask?" He shrugs "Nothing just asking" lance moves from my lap and sits properly and I received his snap "McMeme18? Very original?" He sticks his tongue and we laugh "Alright guys..I can order pizza? While the clothes are being washed?" Shiro offered and we nod "Sure" Shiro went and ordered in the other room and Lance was quiet "Hey you okay?" He looks at me and sighs "I can't say it out loud can we..text it?" I nodded and he quickly started typing. I waited and then my phone went off

(Lance- Why didn't you kiss me?)

I blushed, I knew he was gonna ask eventually but in all honesty I actually didn't want to make things awkward since we just became close friends? Right?

(K-I didn't think you wanted me 2)

I looked over at him and he chuckles and smirks and I smiled while I looked at my screen for his message. After a few seconds I got it

(L-dude I would of loved it if you kissed me..being honest here)

(K-wouldn't it be weird afterwards? We just became friends wouldn't that mess this up? Or something? 😯)

(L- dude when I first met you i knew something was gonna happen between me and you..I couldn't put my finger on it until we started talking and stuff..we can just kiss and no one would know? 😉)

I laughed as Lance did as well and we looked at each other. I noticed Shiro wasn't across the room and Lance manages to move closer to me "Lance I'm not sure about this?" Lance smirks and kisses my cheek "Okay but I kissed your cheek" he chuckles and I blush and before he moved I pull his face and kissed him.

After a few seconds I let go and he looks dazed, he smiles and lays on my lap and looks up at me "This stays between us ok?" I told him and nods "Sure thing keithy boy" he pointed me with his finger guns. I rolled my eyes and looked away because I actual kissed Lance..a lower rank and a blue lion..but I liked it? This can't be good..
