Keith Pov
I looked back at Lance as he held that look again. I hated leaving him like this but I'll be back soon. I promised him. I rushed back to base sneaking in and making it towards my sleeping quarters with 40 minutes to spare. I can take a quick nap before training. As I was gonna lay down the door slid open and I stood tall.

"Keith you took too long.." it was thace and I sigh "I'm sorry-" "Stop. You know you can get kicked out for seeing someone you're not allowed to" I nodded "I know but I needed this. It's been a year and I missed half of all the achievements and other things I wish I was present for." "This is what you wanted right?"

I groan a bit as i looked up at him "Yes but I didn't expect this to be just like before. Just like the agency. I left all that behind because it was too much and I was young and wanted to be normal." "You're not normal. You don't fit in with other people. You push others away and you get upset if someone mentions anything about that partner of yours"

"Hey! Leave Lance out of it!" "God you're just like-!" I raised a brow "Like who? Tell me!" He glares at the wall before he looked at me "Kimora!" My face falls as I sit down and lowered my head "You knew her didn't you?" He was silent "Didn't you!" He nods slowly "You lied to me saying you barely knew her? You knew I was looking for answers and wanted to leave as soon as i can to be with my friends! Why?!" He shakes his head

"She was the first woman I ever loved.." I gasp as he shifts and turns around "She was kinda like you in a way. She would sneak out and have fun on her own as I protected her from our leaders." He pauses as he pulls out a photo from his suit "This was when she was when we were younger. She wore that smile whenever we were alone. But in front of others it was cold, she was strong and very useful. Some of the people here were afraid of her. She wasn't the type of woman to push around. She was act now and talk later. She got things done."

I pulled the photo closer noticing the necklace she was wearing. "That pendant, I'm wearing it." I pulled it and held it "She have it to you?" "Yeah. Well it was wrapped around my hand..that's What Shiro told me. Why?" "Your father gave it to her as a gift." He said coldly "You sure sound happy about that" he shakes his head

"I never liked your father. But I was never behind the killers that killed your parents. I hated him but not to the point of murdering him." I stood up and looked at him "So you have no idea who was after them?" "No. That I really have no information on. Sorry" I nod "Kimora always liked bringing the danger with her. She must have made whoever she was involved with angry."

I looked around thinking if my mother was good or bad? Will I turn into her? Be confusing as fuck and lead everyone in a maze? "Do you remember any groups she used to socialize with?" He hums as he tilts his head "All I remember was Z-Corp. She barely spoke about it with me. I warned her to stay away and not go for it since she had you and your sister but as always she didn't listen."

Now I know where I get it from. "Did you go to her funeral?" "No. There wasn't anything? It was like she was erased from everything. But your dad for sure is dead. I remember seeing him on the wood floors of your old home dead. Your mother? I can't say where she went? She could be alive or be dead for what we know."

So my mother must be alive and is in hiding for so long that she probably changed her name and look. My father is dead no doubt. But where would she go? The door slid revealing a blade member "Training in 5" we nodded as he took off "We discuss more later." Thace walked out ane i stood there for a few seconds before i soon followed.

After training I retreated to my room and started mapping out a way where she could have gone. She has to be out there somewhere. I need answers. As I stood back my phone went off and I quickly answered "Hello?" (Babe! Are you able to come home tonight?) I sigh "Sorry not tonight. I got in trouble so I can't but I'll try seeing you soon. I gotta go."

(Keith..before You hang up can you please try and visit me?) I sigh as his tone of voice was different "Lance is something wrong? Is it your mother?"  (No. She's fine it's just I miss seeing you and having you close to me like before..I guess I just miss you) I smiled "I miss you so much. I'll try and see you. I gotta go though don't want them taking my only access to you" he chuckles softly before he lets out a breath (Alright. I'll let you go, night keith. Love you) "Love you too. Sweet dreams" he hung up and I tossed the phone back and went back to the map.

"I'll find you. Just don't know when."
